The next group of units will arrive via cargo ship within a day, possibly two if the weather shifts. You will receive five of them. They were originally going to be shipped via aircraft, but due to recent circumstances, our military has used these craft to send you additional forces, which should be arriving momentarily.

These next units are prototype designs, and we require testing from orbit to gather real-world data. These tests are minor and should attract little attention to the platforms

The first satellite you will be launching is the test bed. If it works, launch units 2 through 5. 2 and 4 will be handed over to your military and 3 and 5 will remain under Sevrunian control once in orbit.

We appreciate your cooperation in this business

Sincerely,
Jacob Taren

The transport planes made their way over the last stretch of ocean towards the Byzantium Nova capital of Konstantinopoli. They'd kept their path over international waters to avoid any possible problems, and were now almost in the clear.

Major Kelas watched from the cockpit of the lead transport. He was just able to make out the city on the horizon as the pilot opened communications with the airport control tower.

"Attention, this is SAF Transport C-0231-A3. My group is on approach and requesting final course correction and permission to land, over."

The Lost Platoon, as they have called themselves, have finally resurfaced. After using techniques and subterfuge that can't be revealed here, the entire command structure for the rogue division was destroyed. Murdered, wiped out, etc. They're gone. So, unfortunately, are all but two of the LP. As the two make their way away from the carnage, they know that the odds of them arriving anywhere to tell their stories is slim to none. But their job is complete. And that's what matters.

We have finished the orbital testing. The satellite is fully functional and we even got 120% efficiency in certain systems. The solar panel system had some minor quirks but they were fixed.

Next thing would be to test the functionality in Lagrange points around the earth. Thus we are requesting that you send the remaining satellites as soon as possible.

The last rebel stronghold had surrendered after fierce battles. Byzantine army units still remained in the area as the civilian engineer groups arrived in the region. They started immediately make plans for new cities, roads and so on as the government thought it would be necessary to expand the borders as the population was skyrocketing and there was hardly enough room for everyone inside the old borders.

(OOC: this means I am claiming the area 40.)

We have begun mass production of the newest version of the K Sat that you tested for us. You will begin receiving units at semi-regular intervals via sea-based cargo transport.

Since the testing phase is now over, we expect to receive payment for all future K-Sats, starting with this shipment. You will, of course, get a reduction in fees for allowing us to use your launch facilities for our own systems.

Due to the sensitive nature of the equipment, the platforms are somewhat expensive, but factoring in your price reduction, it will be approximately equal to 115,000 Ounces per unit.

As an ally, we trust you enough to begin shipments in advance of receiving payment, but shipments will cease if no payment is forthcoming.

For Greed and Glory,
Jacob Taren
