Advocatian Expansion and NPC Request

Advocatian Expansion Proposal

Hello, so for the past few months after the Tengrolhan expansion, I've been thinking of taking up the space that Pretanic once did. So I'm going to be requesting an NPC that I'll eventually gobble up in an expansion. I want to clarify that the Expansion would take place Post-Anglia conflict, maybe sometime in 2025. I plan on 3 main RPs for the NPC in order to justify the expansion to myself. The first will be detailing a military coup in the country by a radical military faction and the subsequent military takeover of most of the country, seizing the government and media stations. This would lead to the regime having to fight insurrectionists (mainly Anglian, due to the military faction's anti-Anglian sentiment after the Anglian war). This will follow a media spin of anti-Anglian propaganda, which will have been supplemented by the Anglian war. That'll culminate in a genocide of Anglian people in the western mainland of the country and the subsequent persecution all across the nation.

The second will detail the Advocatian response to the news of the genocide. And alongside this I'd like to invite other player countries to join in detailing international condemnations, and will also detail Advocatian military build-up from the perspective of Premier Louis Monet and his cabinet with document style posts also including the identification of opposing military tanks, IFV's, APC's, Ships, etc, and how they would act against Advocatian units that I talked about in my AFV Evaluation/Implementation topic, and the detailed plan for the invasion of the country. It's likely that this RP would be the shortest of them all, only really taking a few months, and I'd still also post in the first topic in order to continue whatever dialogue I had going within the country.

This'll end with the actual expansion RP, it'd be much closer to a peer-to-peer conflict than Tengrolhan and involve detailed Naval, Air, and Ground conflict which'll include aspects I would have talked about in the previous topic with hopefully more detail and effort than even my best Shfakien War posts with other Aurelian League members like Ionio and Anatea able to join in with it for support. My victory would mostly be a case of a crippling first strike, support from Anglian insurrectionists, and generally better equipment applied from my side, later in the war there'll be high discontent from the population, and they would have lost most of their forces in the mainland which means naval landings on the islands will be met with relatively low resistance.

Statistical Proposal for the Expansion

  • Population increase from 43,421,360 to 61,021,360
  • I am less certain on GDP Per Capita increase of anywhere from 14,000 or 15,000 this is because by the end of the expansion Tengrolhan would've been fully integrated and the economic downturn of the Anglian war over, and the expansion war would've resulted in loosing GDP Per Capita within Parvaquilée, this would make the total GDP 854,299,040,000 (14,000) or 915,320,400,000 (15,000), if this is too much perhaps we could go to my pre-Tengrolhan number of 12,046 which makes it 735,063,302,560, if this is still too much then I suggest we talk on discord to figure it out
  • Whilst the land area increase will not be major, the islands would make a key strategical access point to the Manamana canal, if there are any problems with this please talk to me about it, but otherwise I think it's fine.

History

The Republic of Parvaquilée is a nation located in the area between the Baie d'Ailénor and the Typhon sea, only bordered by Advocatius to its south. The colony was founded in 1779 by Lysia and at the time only constituted the islands, it was the rival colony to the Anglian Silver Coast colony founded in 1782 by Great Anglia on the mainland, after the First Aurelian War had ended in Northern Aurelia the Silver Coast colony became extremely expensive to operate, at which point they sold it to Lysia. Anglian settlers in the Silver Coast were extremely angered by this decision and attempted a Rebellion in order to declare independence from Lysia, they were defeated during the Battle of Jamestown and the colony was taken over, certain Anglian groups proliferated around the region and declared their own republics. Lysia, unlike Great Anglia, invaded further into the mainland taking over the Anglian Republic and Tengrol states alike, rich Lysians in the original Island colony had purchased land in the mainland (see the mainland portion of Parvaquilée for the rough borders of their purchases) and slowly the two parts of the same colony began separating, Advocatius was far poorer than the island colony, but had produced a majority of the colonies profits from the Advocato trade which was why they were still apart from the same colony.

This situation would change in 1903 during the Great Advocato Famine, freshwater resources were being diverted away from people in favour of the growth of Advocatos due to a drought in the country, this led to many lacking basic necessities for water and many dying of thirst. For 3 years, Lysia continued to divert resources until enough Advocatians had either left or died to the point where the colony's economy had collapsed. Parvaquilée had not been as reliant on the Advocato trade for their economy since the rich Lysian class had brought even the poor in their part of the colony with them, but their own economy was brought down by the economic collapse and this angered many of the richest Lysians in the upper class who had lobbied the Europan government to divert resources to Advocatian people, and later since the Advocato trade was less prioritised separated themselves from the rest of the colony naming themselves Parvaquilée in 1910 in order to maintain their own economy from the Advocatian Economic Crisis. In 1930 the upper class of Parvaquilée had separated themselves culturally from Lysia, which was the last barrier for the colony to gain Independence, and so they were declared the Republic of Parvaquilée, whilst Advocatius had not gained Independence until 1956.

In 1966 Advocatius had entered into a civil war which saw the fighting of the original Republican government which included moderate conservatives, liberals, and many socialist groups against the Fascist and Anti-Communist military Junta. Whilst Parvaquilée was anti-communist, it saw the new Fascist regime as a potential threat to their state, so supported the Republican government but had not devoted significant resources, which was a contributing factor to their defeat and the victory of the Junta. In 1980 the Fascist Advocatius had attempted to invade Parvaquilée in order to conquer their Aurelian mainland territory, this invasion ended failing spectacularly and Parvaquilée ended up conquering territory inside of Advocatius west of the river, mainly composed of Anglians, which was a massive contributing factor to the collapse of the fascist regime in Advocatius. Now after loosing prevalence in international politics a radical faction of Parvaquilée formed within the military, many have drawn comparisons to the military fascist regime in Advocatius, they blame the Anglians within Parvaquilée for their original homeland starting the glubal war and conquering the Lysian homeland, and many fear their goals should they come to power and what they would do to Anglians within Parvaquilée.

Am I correct in understanding that you want to mark the area as “Reserved” for more than 365 days?

I meant to say that the area would be taken up by the NPC prior to the Expansion War RP, then replaced by the reserved status when it begins, like Xio did with Sefesia.

As you'll be doing RPs/stories with the nation before commiting to an expansion RP, it makes sense to show it as an NPC at first then change it to a reserved area once the expansion RP begins.
