The Charkov News Agency was founded in 1927. In the 98 years since it has grown to be the largest news source in Charkov. It reports the news daily in the morning and evening, although major stories or emergencies can be reported on at any time. It stayed independent from the government for a few months into the Volkov regime before getting taken over.
