Adaptus Posted January 1, 2006 Share Posted January 1, 2006 ***ABC News***   Hello and Happy New Year, i'm David McDonald. 2006 is to be a year of firsts for the Peoples Federation, said Prime Minister Ramsey today, at his new year speech, and we're here to bring you those firsts.   Adapton Space Program Launched.  Scientists today, at the Adapton Space Insatution anounced plans for an Adapton Space Program. plans are to reasearch space, and it's fundimental's, it's the first proper space program for Adaptus, and promises to be a good one. for 4 years now the Space Base Alpha 1 was being built, and was completed, now the ASI has moved in, and have started the development of Star Sweeper 1, the first Adapton Space Shuttle. the deadline for it's launch is march-april, and it will send the first Adapton's into Space. Stelernuaghts have not been selected yet, but trials are to be held soon. good luck to it.   Y2K6 Refomation Plan  the Prime Minister anounced today at his new year speech that a new refomation is to be started, refoming the government stance, and to help on the home front more. first plans anounced were the Adapton Space Program, military Modernization, a new pro business government stance, to recoperate a large economic drop during trobles last year and a Heath Service refom. the reforms have been greatly acssepted by the Adapton People. it looks as thourgh, after troubles last year, the Ramsey Government is back on form.   First F.I.S.T Systems Issued  the first of the new FIST systems were issued to the Royal Parachute Regiment, 1 Para Battalion today, after a long research prosess. they were greatly acssepted, the Field Marshal said on the matter. "the men love these new systems, it gives them that edge on the field, and a mental edge, it alows them to maintain comms, and hopfuly will reduce friendlt fire insodents, due to the new friend reconizer system. this i belive is the future of warfare, i'm proud to serve with these, i would fight along side my men with these, thats how much confedence i have in them." while the first systems are issued, VWS say that developmet of these programs shall still continue, looking for moree ways to upgrade, and protect our troop. the Military have given them the official designation. Adaptus Posted January 5, 2006 Author Share Posted January 5, 2006 ***ABC News***  CLF Supports Arested in the Capitol  4 CLF supports were arested today in St.Jame's Square in the center of the capitol for threatening a police officer, and public hurrasment. onlookers watched for hours as the 4 stood in the square and preached about what the CLF were planning as an act of revenge for the killing og there leader last year by Federation forces, untill they started pushing about the public on their way to work, and when asked to leave they threated a police officers, so were arested on the spot, they are now in Bedlington Prison serving a 3 week sentance and a 100 Gold Coin fine. the PM was very disgusted by this, and hasnt realesed a comment on the subject, just dissmising them and nuts. alough dispite this CI5, and CI6 have launched enquires into what the men were saying.  More FIST Systems Issued  the Royal Khans were deligted with there new equiptment today as they were given specialist systems, more jungle warfare goodies, and bigger knifes, as one NCO said. yes the young Otans were extreamly pleased, and began testing them out strait away. running there obsital courses and fireing there new G36X assault rifles. one general said. "they young ones will love these, they will give us a better time in jungle wars and with the new knifes, we'll chop even more people up". well we bid them good luck.  Adapton Space program in final stages of design  the Adapton Space Insatution has anounced their in the final design stages for their Star Sweeper 1, and preperations for the first launch site to be constructed are made.4 Stellernoughts have been also anounced for the first flight, and ther training has began. John Gray, Kevin Latrov, Keith Yeltzin and Andy Knight. all 4 were test pilot for the FAF, and Kevin Latrov also was one of the test piolts on the new VC-2000 Vityaz. we hope everything goes to plan for them. Also they have stated the Star Sweeper 1 has been completed and will be reveled to the public in a public showcase later next week.  Nimarci Confrence Underway  As we speak world leaders are arriving in Nimarci in Akiiryu for the Nimarci Confrence. the confrence is to settle disputes about WMD's being sold and used, and about an end to the Deltannian civil war. the Confrence in which Prime Minister Ramsey several leading Generals and Jack Hay, the Forigne Affairs Minister are attending, was sparcked by the selling of Bio, Nuke and Chem weapons by the Vickers Weapon Systems branch of Gomaria Galactic. which was sharply stoped thanks to talks between Gomaria Galactic, VWS the Fed and the Gomarian State.  Sport  Ramseygrad FC: 7 - Berwick Athletic: 15  In other news Berwick defeted Ramseygrad FC in an amazing football match, in where Ramseygrad.........  Link to comment
Adaptus Posted January 28, 2006 Author Share Posted January 28, 2006 ***ABC NEWS***  Top Stories With David McDonald  Unrest within the Adapton Communist Party  Today, John Trovski completly reshuffled his shadow cabanet, with many new and unknown faces, including Joseph Vitchov, a rumered member of the CLF. due to this CI5 launched a enquiry into the Communist Party, and found the Vitchov was once a supportter of the CLF but ceased his backings after the first CLF attack in the 70's. also 3 other members of the shadow cabnet were found to have minimum relations with the CLF, alough none wer charged, due to insucnifican evidence, Frank Tomphson, a CI5 spokesman released this statment today. "alough the 4 ACP members were not charged, they shall be monitured for a period of time incase of further actions with CLF".  Military Refroms Anounced  The Sectretary of State For Defence, Mike Reid, anounced today of military reforms to take place across all branches of the Federation Defence Force within the next few weeks. he spoke of a re-structuring and role change for the army, role change for the navy, and role change for the air force. he anounced that each branch is to become a more mobile force, with air force now getting ready to employ fast deployment and task force roles, the navy is now seen to be decommistioning the last Titanus Battleships, and thinking of looking for replacements for the Klimus Dreadnought, wich is now ageing, and are now becoming more task forced. the army is about to be restructured into a more effective force for modern war, and are now issuing a new training program for new recruits, which will now inclide individual combat roles, such as pistol training, and "lone soldier" training, as it is in army terms. Reid also said that a full anouncement of the final reforms will be anounced once complete.  Vickers Skyrockets  VWS today announced they were making record profits, from both the Fed, and regional powers, as well as a few civil groups. it also announced the shears on the stockmarcket today reached an all time high for the business giants, and no drop is insight. Adaptus Posted February 6, 2006 Author Share Posted February 6, 2006 *** ABC NEWS ***  BREAKING NEWS With David McDonald  3 Large Explosions Rock South Shields  this afternoon, in the center of the major port city of South Sheilds 3 explosions shook the city. it was found to be 3 large car bombs, all targeted at civilians on their way home from work. the blasts all took place within 15 minutes of eachother, one near a metro station, the second in a large multi-story car park, which was linked to a large port control station, and the final blast ripped a market area wide open. death toll so far is estimated at 400-550 civilians. it is suspected the attack was by the long founded CLF. the old foe of the Fed. CI5 and CI6 have launched a full investagation, and with help from TA regiments. we shall update you as soon as possible.  Further Talks with Northern Otans  inreasing talks with the Northern Otans are proving promissing, the government said today. talks have been ongoing for a few weeks now with the Northern Otans. all mainly consentraiting on helping them with their current infostructure, which is at the moment colapsing. also, the Fed is pushing for the northern friends to join the Federation.  Link to comment

With a refomation of the army structure, up-sizeing of the Navy, and mew aircraft testing for the airforce. The FA restructuring was completed today, and a full list has been edited on the Region military area.  CLF Raided  A CLF safe house war raided today. It was the soposed safehouse for the bombers of last weeks attacks on South Shields. Inside the house, 5 suspects were aressted, and a large weapons stash was found, which included; 12 AR-101 Assault Rifles, 3 RPG 12's, 8 Brizon SMG's, and thousands of rounds. All wepons were seized, and taken for examination.  This news came just weeks after a large budget increase to th Adapton Communist Party, in which many new backers pleged money to the party. also as many Adaptons would remeber, this is how the first CLF saga started, back in the 70's.  Imperiosus Day Looms  Yes it is that time of year again, when everything Adapton is celibrated. it is the aniverisry of the Union of Adaptus under Emperor Artaratus, and his Kingdom of Adaptus, which united the 4 main realms of Sancutm, Imperia, Ashton, and Sarmortum as one. Now, across Adaptus, soldiers will now be issued with IWS system, and be trained in it's use. Final training programs, and digital uplink systems were completed today, thus ending the Armys re-orgonization for the Y2K6 reforms. Now, the IWS systems come with persific training, which now incorporates the IWS systems. to start with, Army commanders used egsiting training methods along with the IWS systems, now, with the full intergation complete, IWS has now be able to be used in training. The training inclueds, intence cross com monicle training, 3D vertual mapping training, and UAV birds eye view Battlefield monitering methods. Field Marshal Skinner had this tosay about the final stages. "Today marsk a new era for the Adapton military, now with the watchkeeper UAV's, and the IWS systems finaly working fully, we are truly, the first fully digtal Army in Europa."  IWS trooper taking part in one of the new training exersises, in the mock up army town of New Newcastle.  CLF Bomber captured  Today, in South Sheilds, a CLF suicide bomber was captured by police trying to enter a train station. After a weeks survailence, police tracked him down to a street, and stoped him, with many armed police surounding him, he desied to expose the bomb. This then gave the police the green light to shoot, once the bomb was exposed, several police opend fire, 3 shots injuring him, and 1 severing his spinal cord, luckly, he never set the bomb off. after close insepction, he was found to have mant CLF ensignias, and sysbols tattooed, and marked on his body. The new party was given the name The Adapton Red Repiblican Party, and have growing support amoung the forgine minorities.  A short while after this was anounced the Adapton Communist Party anounced that officialy it was to have no ties with and CLF forces acting within Adaptus, and so too did the Republicans denounce their support for the Adapton Republican Army, another terroist orgonization within Adaptus. Also along those lines, both terroist orgonization announced on their websites, and through news tip offs, that they will no longer make any hostile moves, as they are now seised to exsist. Couls this be the end of a 30 year dark cloud over Adaptus? Who knows.  Anger as US Denounces Fascisim  Anger has spread through the Adaptianium over the past week, first with actions the US Fascist government was taking, and then more blood boiled after another government of the US denounced fascisim.  It is a known fact now that the People's Federation of Adaptus is a mildly fascist nation, with economy based around fascist economy and so on. For a long time now the PFA has ingnored the US's constant "fascist bashing,", as it has came to be known, and has finaly taken action. with Prime Minister Ramsey releasing this statement today.  "For a long time now we have listened to these anti-fascist babbaling from the US government, and franckly we are sick of it now. we are asking the US to please end the denounceing of other ideologies, after all, not all are perfect. The People's Federation is a full free democracy, and are fascist, we do not kill muslims, jews, homosexuals, and others. What you my friend are denouncing is Nazisim, somthing completly diffrent to fascisim. Fascisim is a far right ideology in which private enterpirse is valued most. Nazisim is the belive of rascial supremacy, it is a branch of fascisim, but not us. We think that if you look closer, your "fascists", will look more like Nazis.  We apolgies to any other nations who will take offence at the N word, but we felt it was nessisary to express.  Also, as for the threats from the US, We are fairly angered, and any more of this, it will be delt with harshly. After returning, at 10:30pm last night, the government went back to work as normal this morning.  Prime Minister Ramsey, said this today.  "After a much needed trip, we have rested and are ready to take back control. Adaptus Posted April 11, 2006 Author Share Posted April 11, 2006 ***ABC News*** With David McDonald  **BREAKING NEWS**  High Court of Lords Decision Over Ruled.  In a court case yesterday, in which the steel worker, Ray Smith, had taken his case to the High Court of Lords against his employers, after being striped of his dignity and civil liberties, when his employers refused him a lavatory, and no designated area in which to relive himself, and it was the same for other workers, and was told it takes up valuable production time by his employers. After the court case in which Ray Smith won, Prime Minister Ramsey announced. "I am appalled at the decision of my High Court Judges. All have been ejected from the High Court, and will never work at a higher level than Local Lords Court. As for Ray Smith. He has been imprisoned for challenging his owners." Ramsey Later passed a new legislation through Parliament announcing that Employers have full right over worker."  This comes to the people of Adaptus as a complete ignorance of Civil and Human Rights, and has since sparked many protests. Old Union leaders have joined together to form the Workers Rights Union, which will be staging many protests through the capitol this week. The Union leader, Greg Jones had made this statement. "After such harsh treatment, which many workers across Adaptus have now felt, it is certain of the amount of hate going toward Ramsey, and his Party after passing such legislations. We further Agree with them on the point of unfair treatment. By no means do companies own workers. workers are human beings much like Mr. Ramsey himself. Adaptus Posted April 12, 2006 Author Share Posted April 12, 2006 ***ABC NEWS*** With David McDonald  Top Stories  Violence in the Capitol  This morning, as WRU protesters marched through the capitol, they reached the Parliament building in which many rattled the gates of the Adaptanium. This lead to a large police presence around the area, as Ramsey came out of the Adaptanium, to head home after a parliament meeting. The PM was swamped by protesters, overpowering his guards. Ramsey found himself in a mass of protesters, which all hated his guts, and when one well agitated protester came close, it was enough for Ramsey. The protester - later reviled as David Clarks - ran up to the PM and began to assault him with Anti-Ramsey ribbons, and posters, wrapping him up in the ribbons, and covering him with poster. This was the last straw for the hardened police, which had experienced the CLF crisis, and at once opened fire at the protesters.  The police then fired upon the main body of protesters, cutting most to ribbons. This lead to the protesters turning on the police, and violent clashes across Ramseygrad began, with police firing on protesters, and left extremists, with their own weapons firing back on the police.  At the end of the day, and once the fighting had stopped, it was announced that 130 police personnel were either killed or wounded, 1,203 protesters wounded or killed, and 4 politicians killed, and 6 wounded, including Ramsey in the wounded. Among the protesters dead was their leader Greg Jones and it was announced today by the WRU that it would be - after such violent clashes- are disbanded.  After the day?s events, Ramsey made an announcement from his hospital bed in the Ramseygrad Royal Infirmary. "It seems people here in Adaptus do not appreciate what he have brought to them, as of now, all human and civil rights will be abolished, until the populace proves it can behave in a proper supportive manner, instead of beating their leader to almost death."  This has come at shocking news to the Adapton people. After placing such trust in Ramsey, and after he done so much for this nation, he now turns his back on us, all for the support of his corporations, and money. Adaptus Posted April 13, 2006 Author Share Posted April 13, 2006 ***ABC NEWS*** With David McDonald  Top Stories  Mass riots across Adaptus  Due to the PM's actions yesterday - abolishing civil and human rights - mass rioting has taken place across the whole of Adaptus. Riotig first started late last night in the capitol again with rioters taking to the streets armed and ready to fight back against the police. The early this morning it was reported rioting had broken out in Newcastle, Tyne Vall, and South Shields. By noon the riots had spread most of the Nation, with all major cities rioting against the new rights abolishments.   Red flags have been rasied across many cities, from house windows and major structures. It is clear that socialisim to this, but with Ramsey in hospital, and his remainding party members brain washed or also in hospital, it looks highly unlikly this will happen.  Ramsey himself is said to be in a stable condistion, and having been attcked by his own people, he is said to be in a restless, and angry mood toward the populance. Ironic you could say, as the populance are in the same situation with him....  We have news just in, gun shots have been heard around the capitol, and police spokes people have announced the shots are not from the police, as no order was givien. We have a whitness account. He is Anti-Ramsey demonstrator John Market.  "Hey David. Well we were eye to eye with a police wall of shields, when from our side of the street shots were heard, and several riot officers fell to the floor. We have no idea who it came from, but the Anti-Ramsey Union has no part in it, and we would like to say this now."  Ok, thank you John. Ramsey, still in hospital, and still in a bad state a large mob of rioters managed to break through the military and police cordons around the Ramseygrad Royal Infirmary, and began to petrol bomb and hurl missiles toward the hospital and Ramsey's supposed room.  Although the mob was dispersed, with several casualties, Ramsey was not harmed, however, among the casualties was Ramsey's wife, and daughter, both did not survive. Within his hospital room Ramsey mad one last announcement to his people, before he was relived from hospital.  "Today, due to my populace rioting against me, my wife and daughter were killed. Now with such a large mob at hand, I feel it useless asking the police to find out who killed them, as they will not be able to do that, so I have one last option, which is this. From now on, the people's Party of Adaptus is no more, neither are any other party for that matter. Legislation is passing through parliament as we speak. From today, the party system in Adaptus is abolished; we are now a totalitarian state, my totalitarian state. A fascist dictatorship you could say. As of now there will be no more civil rights, no more human rights, no more unions, and no more popular opinion. As of today, I am the sole leader of Adaptus. You have brought this on yourselves."  Later after the statement, it was reported, many people involved with the riots were going missing. We can not say if these are linked, but they could be. Adaptus Posted April 15, 2006 Author Share Posted April 15, 2006 ***ABC NEWS*** With David McDonald  Top Stories  40 Year Silence Broken  It has been 40 years since the last time a King or Emperor in Adaptus has challenged parliament. Untill today. It seems Ramsey's "Totalitairian State" is no longer. King Hollowfield today vetoed all of Ramsey's proposals, and legislation. Ramsey and his cabinet were aressted, and held on the "Crimes Against the Adapton People" Charge. Hollowfield also rinstated the party system, and all the old parties. He has called for an emergancy election to be held on monday, in which Ramsey can stand, but it looks highly unlike he will be re-elected.  It seems a gift from the heavens to the Adapton people, who though they would be living the rest of there lives in a Facist paradise. But it seems Ramsey's plans had overlooked the King, who has now taken charge of Adaptus untill the end of the election on tuesday evening, when hopfuly the votes will have been counted.  I'm David McDonald, good night.  Well it seems the end of Ramsey's 3 and a half term in office.
