After the OK from Argenland, Europtima deployed it's large convoy of settlers, protected by 4 Boise Heavy Cruisers, 1 Battleship, and 20 Barracuda Attack Submarines, bound for a new land over the horizon. The military forces are strictly for relocating such forces to Annapolis Naval Base in area 122, and for protection while sailing past the perilous straights of Ide Jima. A squadron of fighter pilots was constantly on patrol, searching for suspicious activitity.

OOC: @ Akiiryu-Not that I'm aware of, did they? And if so, that's no biggie. I thought Argenland said yes...The fleet actually deployed from Vanarambaion where we were refueling. Yes, making it that far in 1 day is a little extraordinary, I'm just trying to speed up the process of settling. Sorry if that's a problem, I can slow it down...

OOC: You really need to have the fleet leave your home port first., at least in my opinion. Take a look at the way I ran the launching of militray vessels during the Islands crisis.

OOC: I agree completely, but this isn't military ops, it's settling a region. Nobody waits forever to do that. The only reason that I have a convoy of militaryt ships is for protection of the settlers, and because I'm relocating my home naval base to Annapolis in plot 122. Those are the only reasons. It's not a military maneuver, I promise that no shots will be fired

"All clear" sounded the call, as the fighters landed, the settler's ships beached themselves, and the Navy dropped anchor. The natives were met by a team of linguists that specialize in similar dialects, and the natives were put at ease. They agreed to a cosociety, much like the one set up in the Europtimitian homeland.

 

Plans to development:

 

->Several Airstrips will be put in to ensure air support, and for immediate importantion and exportation of good and waste.

->Annapolis Naval base and Harbor shall be founded to support the needs of the Europtimitian Navy.

->Baltimore shall be founded as a secondary capital to the government, and political epicenter of the newly colonized area.

->Railways and paved roads shall be built ASAP

-Roads have been cleared, criss-crossing the area.

-Airstrips have been built, and cargo planes have airlifted supplies and more settlers into the region

-Two of the natives largest cities, Annapolis and Baltimore are precisely where Europtima wished to engineer cities. They have been integrated in the last week, and are now officially ruled equally by the natives and settlers.

-Slips have been constructed around Annapolis, making it the home of the Europtimitian Navy

-Mining and commerce operations have been undertaken by the largest companies in Europtima

Yes, Ide Jima, I do remember those times in our not so ancient history, when we were somewhat less that pleased with one another. However, we have already explained that the reason for the massive naval movement in the beginning of our expansion was because Annapolis, our newest port, is to become the center of Europtimitian Naval operations, including building, maintaining, and deploying our fleets. We have no interest in undermining your influence in these waters, as long as the feeling is mutual. We shall enter your waters only for through traffic to reach the rest of the region. Other than that, I think that we know our zones of control in these waters
