Argenland
Seeing the conflict in plot 21, I see that is urgent to post War Rules for a "better war". Read this and write your opinion:  http://home.hetnet.nl/~henkwillems/war_rules.htm  http://home.hetnet.nl/~henkwillems/rules_of_engagement.htm  Is from the region of Western Europe. Link to comment
Tagmatium Rules
Its a good idea, but frankly I am too lazy to work it out for Tagmatium. But, I (in my own opinion, of course. Feel free to disagree) have never used any unrealistically sized units etc. Of course, this could be that I have only every fought one war here, and that was my own civil war. But I was limping about with only a pair of naval vessels at one point. Link to comment
Senator Gaius
This does apply to me, but only if i have the time Link to comment
Vanarambaion
Those have all been taken into consideration in my case, but I would like to see certain other people take a look at that. Link to comment
Ide Jima
I have skim read it. I will put aside the time to read it properly soon, as it does seem to be interesting. I would gladly comply by the rules it lays down. Link to comment
Phil VII
hmm, i like the idea, but i think the rules as laid down there are far too rigid,  For example: Rhinelandia Attacks Disney Land Rhinelandia has invaded Disney land with 1 Million Standard Infantry, 200 Tanks, and 300 Howitzers. Rhinelandia will invade from the west, moving into the park (nation). Tanks and Howitzers will be in support of the Standard Infantry.  Is it just me, or would stuff like that make for a fairly dull RP? As long as people are still imaginative in their reporting of battles, then i would support this idea.  I like the idea of the points system for creating your force, and i think a good idea would be to make a thread where everyone posts thier points, and an army list, to make battles more exiting. It would also prevent someone suddenly saying ''oh, and now i'm going to spend 10 points, and nuke your capital'' If the caabilities of the army of each nation is outlined, it will make future conflicts more interesting.   Link to comment
Ide Jima
A point system is a good idea. I tried to download the calculator, but my computer wasn't having any of it. Normal RP is simpler though, and I am sure that most nations here can tell the difference between an alright sized force and a godmodder. Link to comment
Phil VII
hmm, after trying to work out my own army using these rules, i've ghotton a little confused by this section: Â Your nation?s army is limited by its defence budget. This limit represents how big a standing army your nation can support. This percentage is the ultimate limit of your nation?s capability to raise armies. The limit applies to all kinds of infantry. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Defence budget....................army maximum Ruled by defence..................................4% mostly concerned.................................2.5% mainly concerned.................................1.8% juggled................................................. 1.2% subordinated........................................0.8% no mention..........................................0.5% no money............................................0.2% Â if this is what i think it means, that only 0.5% of your points can be spent on infantary if there is no mention of defence in your profile. coupled with the previous budget modifications, it means my nation is allowed to spend only 3.7 points on infantry, seeing as the cheapest infantry is 4 points, it means my nation is not allowed any soldiers... Â Is this correct, or have they just made it realyl hard to understand... Link to comment
Senator Gaius
I think i'll carry on as normal, only stop saying i have a 157 carriers etc. Link to comment
