As a new member state of Europa, Ser Niccolo's appointed representative is visiting the regional capital to learn more about the region and its workings. He has a keen interest in regional politics, law, economy, trade and military and would like a fellow diplomat to give him some help in finding his way through the bustling city.

I would be most glad to give you a tour of the forums. You are already acquainted with the Introduction Area. If you'll step back to the main foyer, you'll see several doors to your south. There's the General Board, where we talk about just about anything. Little official business goes on there. The next door down in the Game Room. In the Game Room we let down our hair and have a bit of fun. That'd be a good place to stop by if you want to get to know your fellow Europans. Underneath that is the Art Gallery. Some of our residents are gifted artists and can whip up a flag or banner in no time.

 

Down from the Art Gallery are four forums dedicated to role-play. THis is where the interactions between nations really happen. We've got a map of Europa, and three forums for politics, war and trade. It's all good stuff.

 

Then there's forums for the administration of the region, and embassies from other regions. They're quite interesting too. Feel free to have a poke around.

With regards to the collective element of Europa, the representatives of Ser Niccolo are most keen to understand the political framework of Europa. Naturally, this will entail a lot of research into official documents but any simple guide for the uninitiated would be appreciated

Anyway, about the region, well...

 

Europa (nation name:The Europa Empire) is the regional founder, founded sometime last summer, no-one is entirly sure when, and since then the region has grown to around 250 nations, and seems to be fairly stable about this figure.

 

Orioni is our perminant delegate, she has been for as long as i can remember (and i'm one of the oldest here!), we don't have a regional vote on it, she does such a good job there is little point really. Although i havn't seen here for about a week, i assume she's on holiday, anyone seen her? she's normally so active on the forums...

 

There is a constitution somewhere, it has never really been formally finished, and in my opinion, the region is so stable, and the delegate has so many votes, there is little point in this place having one.

 

Forign policy: well, friendly regions we like can get embassies, thats about it really. if we get really friendly we can sign a defence treaty, which means that both regions will help each other out if they get into trouble, we have a few of those, with places like Greece and a couple of others.

 

Defence: pretty much any UN nation on the forums can sign up, we go on practice missions now and again, and sometimes we go on real things to help out places in trouble.

Karpathos is our regional militery guy, he seems to know about everything militery styleie, and is actully a governmental member in about 10 different regions due to his massive experience!

 

RP's generally happen in the RP boards, most things outside the RP boards are usully OOC, sometimes people might break into RP outside of the RP section, but usually only to muck about or welcome new nations...

 

 

 

 

which brings me onto my welcome: the traditional Philina welcome for new regions is a pie, and today is no exeption, a lovely little smoked salmon and gherkin Pie is on its way to your nation now, couriered by my own personal asistent!... *light goes zing off teeth*
