November 1st: Points

So the challenge begins ! One map for everyday for the month of November, starting with Points. A very (In my opinion) abstract prompt, but none the less one I gave a go at. Bellow you can see by submission, a map of the Sister Republic of Rozija, my only successful expansion territory lol. It includes quite a few locations, some of which,  people might already be familiar with, as well as multiple new economic hubs that have sprung up since the region has been incorporated into Baltica. Fun fact ! The Republic makes over 60% of all chemical products used within Baltica, as well as being the home of the "Natural Lemon Flavouring" CSB0-40. Hope you guys enjoy my submission expect more in the coming days.

November 2: lines

A map with focus on lines. Roads, rivers, routes, or borders—this day is all about mapping connections and divisions. Another traditional way to keep things moving. 📏

November 2nd: Lines

I present my second map, all about lines, or in my case, rivers ! Here I have a river basin map of the Balandeli River, the largest river fully contained within Baltica. Following tradition, Fun Fact ! The river feeds almost 80% of all Baltican Agricultural Operations, and the river has been extensively farmed for over 2000 years. It became the main breadbasket of Baltica in the 19th century, during which, the whole territory was organised as the "Principality of Raskia". The river is so extensively polluted with nitrogen run off, that it has been biologically dead since 1978.

November 4: hexagons

Maps using hexagonal grids. Step away from square grids and try mapping with hexagons. A fun way to show density or spatial patterns. 🔷
