awaiting rp [Dominion creation] Commonwealth or equivalent, expansion and lore

Hello,

So basically my intention is to create another dominion. Why?

Because RP as a dominion is fun, but part of the fun is the idea of a commonwealth. Knowing that KC isn’t specially developed, or big, or else. Rather than expanding KC, would rather want another dominion.

I’m prepared in RP for it to mean that: KC and the other dominion, don’t have any vote, only Gallambria can vote and represent that sort of “Commonwealth”. It’d be part of the fun to RP a dominion. So, like for the Assembly of Nations, may not vote, but may participate in debates.

Plus may RP frictions and different views of the future of the commonwealth, kinda like the Union Française in the 1950s, or like I am RPing with Gallambria, the colonies vs the homeland (plus kinda the exploitation of the colonies… I mean the dominions, of course, like French africa).

Therefore, in terms of history, it’d bring into question: the colonisation of the Marenesia, knowing that I know for instance Orioni to have redacted quite a lot of it, so may even be a former Orioni colony that fell under Gallambrian control somehow. 

Geographically doesn’t have to be right next to KC but don’t mind if it is (may do some fishing rights disputes, or like oil/gas tensions e.g. Greece and Turkey).

So this thread doesn’t have a precise idea, so before diving into further details, would like other opinions to know if it’s a big-no, or if it’s possible.

PS: haven’t found an expansion form/guidelines so just threw it like that to brainstorm. Feel free to rename, or adjust anything required.

I'll post your idea to the Staff area so that we can discuss it. I personally don't see why not, but it might be mechanically a bit weird.

Do you have any ideas of where you might have this other dominion?

No preference over geography, don't mind if it's right next to, or completely elsewhere.

In terms of how it may be considered as one country in the mechanics, perhaps may consider it as Commonwealth like a nation. But having just very independent governments from one another, except than from Gallambria aka the Homeland, since it retains certain authorities? Or can just be a NPC that I RP and manage, but may be open to others who are welcome to RP with it too.
