According to our long tradition of ?self sufficiency?, we have been a closed country. Our nation have never attempted a contact with other nation for decades. We see that your nation has many kinds of fruits different to ours. Our people are fruits lovers and would eager to try fruits from your nation. We have many kinds of truits for trade too ; bananas, oranges, guava, durian, rambutan, lychee, jack fruit, snake fruit, mango, longan, apple, macardemia, and plums. We now would like to send minister of trade to Koku to discuss possible agreements. We could possible export live sheep or other types of stock to your nation, as well as coal, copper, zinc or natural gas. In regards to our fruit we could work out agreements on the refridgeration and transportation on Lemonds and Kiwi fruit. We offer you 2t worth of lemons as a gesture of friendship. As for developing tourist locations, we are glad you have taken interest. No Niederoestereichian loves more then going for a swim along our coastline at the beach. Some tourist resorts have been established, but could do with expansion, espeically if many Kokuians decide to take a look to see what Niederoestereich has to offer. We would be pleased to welcome your minister. I have requested our minister of trade, and of foreign affairs for meeting with him/her. Also, our staffs will facilitate him/her through out the stay. About your remark on goods for export, our traders have high interest in purchasing your coal and fruits. I also thank you for the 2t of Niederoestereich lemon. I have sent you our silk cloths, bronz ware, and 2 tons of each; banana, orange, and mango in return. I am glad that both our people enjoy the same leisure at beaches, and that there is posibility of joint venture between us. Together with this letter, we would like to propose a trade agreement between our two nations. I have attached a draft which is similar to what we have signed with Amnalos, and now being propose to other nations aswell. Please feel free to review and comment. The spirit of this document is to foster good will between the nations of Koku and Niederoestereich. This ideal is to be held in good faith. III. The government of both nations shall facilitate the warehouses and transport facilities for the use of the other nation's industry and merchantry, to manage the storage and movement of goods through the nation. Trading agreements will be bound by the law of the land where it is made or signed. Criminal and justice matter will be handled by the law of the land where incidence takes place. This article also states the cooperation of the criminal transfer between the two nations. IV. Both nations shall provide safety and safe passage of the other nation's merchants as they do to the locals. V. A tariff of no more than 5% over the local selling price shall be imposed on goods sold, and no transport tariff of more than 3% of transport costs shall be imposed on goods moving through the country. However, both nations may have a list of their local products which are sensitive industry, and the products will be treated differently in terms of tax and tariff.
