National Flag : spacer.png

Capital Name : Santa Borbones

Climate & Geography : It is located in Alharu (Mesothalassa), Pecario is made up of two distinct geographical regions. The West is dominated by high snowy mountains that border a vast plateau, it is in this region that most of the Pecarians live. To the south, the massifs shelter humid valleys and have foothills covered with forests. To the east extend vast alluvial plains which benefit from a tropical climate. The north of these lands is largely covered with desert. The country is crossed by multiple rivers and has a few lakes.

History : A former Iverican colony now a Narco-state. The country has suffered during its history of multiple coups that prevented the country from becoming a stable state. The country is recovering little by little with the nationalization of the iron, gold and tin mines. Tourism has also allowed locals to share the country's diverse culture. More recently, the country has had to face an economic crisis and a seizure of a cocaine cartel on the political, military and religious infrastructures. The country has now become a hub of cocaine production.

Desired location: In Mesothalassa in order to have the high snow-capped mountains in the west of the country. A rental inspired by that of the ancient country of San Castellino.

Alrighty, let's get this rerun started!

Your points look good, I'll keep your desired land area range in mind for the upcoming land proposals. For your desired culture, history, and climate, I believe Mesothalassa would be your best bet as you desired. No need to pull out the maps I think we're all good there. My only questions are:
1. What kind of Native Americans are you looking to populate your nation? You mention an Inca-like empire in your past, but I couldn't find anything definitive. For now I'll assume their a conculture/altculture.
2. What do you plan to do with Louvier? Do you want a current member/neighbour to be its custodian or have it as cleanly wiped from Eurth as possible?

With those out of the way, let's find you a good place on the map. You know this rodeo so I'll just give you the facts for each spot:

1. South-eastern Mesothalassa
image.png
● Land Area of 318,600km^2.
● Large monsoon climate across the eastern half of your country. Tropical rainforest in the south-eastern most part of your country. Desert in your western interior.
● Unfortunately only a tiny bit of snow in your north-west.
● A bit inconvenient for Iverica to colonise historically.

2. Northern Mesothalassa
image.png
● Land Area of 330,500km^2.
● Rainforest in the north, desert to the south. Your most southern border would have some snowy peaks.
● The majority of your nation is desert starting at around the equator, all the way down to the peaks along your southern border.
● Really funny borders. We can tweak them to look a little less silly (like shifting the country to follow the river rather than border it) and/or more artificial/colonial-esque.

3. Southern Mesothalassa
image.png
● Land Area of 324,700^2.
● Pretty much your entire country is tropical savannah, except for the northern third which transitions into large tundra mountainous climate. Only desert in your northernmost fringes beyond the peaks.
● You'd possess the highest peak(s) on Eurth, stretching way above the height of Everest as the epicentre of the collision between Aurelia and Argis-Alharu. You'd be in the biggest hotspot for earthquakes and volcanoes on Eurth outside of the Thalassa Ring of Fire.

1. I was thinking of South American-type Native Americans descended from a nation inspired by the Inca Empire that would have ruled over part of Mesothalassa. I will build a lore for this nation, it will be  greatly inspired by the Incas and other pre-Columbian civilizations.

2. That's a good question, Louvier has had a bit of an impact with his neighbours, you would have to ask @Anatea, @Zaxar and @Ionio who all have ties to Louvier in their past and modern history. If Louvier doesn't have much influence and his actions can be easily erased, then we can wipe the country off the map. Otherwise we'll see with one of my neighbors, if he wants to devote himself to the task of keeping an eye on the country.

My preference remains the third proposal. I was just wondering if a tropical savannah is some sort of forest/jungles like you find in Brazil, Bolivia, Peru since the country's national animal is the jaguar and these only live in the jungles.

Tropical Savannahs tend to be very grassy with occasional trees and patches of low-dense forests (see below).

Often very dry with only a bit of rain during the seasonal wet period. Sorry no jungles 😕. I'll leave it to Anatea/Zaxar/Ionio to decide what to do with Louvier.

Well, taking into account the difference between the South American and African tropical savannahs, there is a little more forest but we are far from a jungle too bad... But I'll go with it.

Is it possible to add a lake to the east of the rivers in the area where there is nothing under the snowy peaks?

And so now can I start my iiwiki page or do I have to wait?
