About Wittier (see also: iiwiki page)

Wittier is a social networking service owned by Iverican company Wittier, Inc., which allows registered users to post messages, like and reshare. An account is not necessary to read public messages. These messages can be read via a mobile app or in a web browser. Wittier was founded in September 2007 by Alex Sáez and Manuel Zoido.

The platform frequently promotes itself as promotor of the freedom of speech. This means it allows controversial opinions to exist and flourish. For example: pundits and online discussion on popular domains like Wittier, Accord, and State of Nations sometimes post open criticisms of intergovernmental and political organisations. More recently, the opening song for 2019 EurthVision Song Contest was leaked on Wittier. First Citizen of the Iverican Republic, Franso Deitorr and other heads of state like Tomur Almas of Fulgistan frequently address with the wider wurld via Wittier.
