Greetings and Salutations,

I write to you on behalf of the Advocatian Ground Forces in order to request the purchase of 30 UCAG I Elefante Self-Propelled Artillery. Our Ground Forces Command has noticed a fundamental weakness in how our towed artillery was operating when it comes to mobility, and most importantly the relatively low cost in long term conditions, and the low risk factor when it comes to precision firing in comparison to air strikes.

As Iverica is one of the staunch nations battling Anglian-led imperialism across the wurld, we wish for you to aid a nation suffering firsthand under the Anglian threat against the new wurld. The UCAG I Elefante would allow for improved defensive operations against the OCA-backed nation of Tengrolhan. We would like to offer payments of $39,000,000 annually for five years for these 30 units. Amounting to a price of $6,500,000 per unit and a total transaction price of $195,000,000 paid in full by January 1st, 2028.

It is my hope that you will find this offer reasonable and that these units can be used in great effect to battle the Anglian-Imperialist threats across the wurld.

OOC: Dw, we won't have to go through all the bulleted steps. It just provides a glimpse into how the actual process would be. Highlights what the FFDO does and how foreign procurements are handled by the Iverican Gov. For all intents and purposes, consider the terms offered by the Marshal accepted.

 

Some details that aren't in the letter:

• Procurement can take quite a long time. Since there's a war on, we can expect this to be much shorter (thankfully). Probably the space of a few weeks if everything goes as planned.
• There will probably be dozens of virtual conferences and quite a few face-to-face meetings requiring reps to fly back and forth- just imagine that it happens
• The transaction itself will be handled behind the scenes by an Advocatian procurement team and the Sales Team of ARX Arms. Training, education, and support for the first few months will be handled by ARX.
• By default, ARX will ship the vehicles once the initial instalment is received. This is by maritime freight provided by one of ARX's logistics partners. You could use air freight which would be quicker. Would probably just cost more. Which ever fits your canon. It doesn't have to be RP'd.
• Since no local manufacturers of ammunition are available, it's likely that a contract for the supply of ammunition would be written in as well.
