Precolonial [1700s-1797]:

Precolonial Tusis in the 18th century was lagging behind other powers. This impressive regional power that once controlled the seas and trade could no longer compete with the wealthier and more technologically advanced foreign powers. Boats now no longer needed to stop in Tusisian ports completly as a middle ground for saftey and convenience for trade with further neighbors; Tusisian ports have become only necessary for pitstops on their way to richer lands. With nothing pulling trade into Tusis's ports the old wealth dried up, causing a massive wave of social unrest and violence. Slowly Tusis became such a disfunctional state that colonial powers easily took over the country making the people a subject to foreign rulers for a hundred sixty-five years.

Dumchei- Oriental Trading Company (Gaellica) [1797-1868]:

The Crowned Realms of Gaellica's trading company, the OTC, was the first to take advantage of Tusis's decline. Tusis owed large debts to the OTC. and in 1794 when Tusis wouldn't pay the OTC they invaded with the support of the Gaellican government. After three years of hard fought battles, the OTC overthrew the sultan and gave his authorities to the company heads. The people essentially lived under the same governance, but instead of a sultan there was the OTC. Rule under the OTC for the most part was more than tolerable to the Tusisian people. The company would give wages for the peoples' work. even if much less than what they deserved, and the comapny would be the first to profit for the few natural resources in Tusis. Religous freedoms were allowed, but missionaries were more than permited to these conquered lands. The OTC kept a stable state until 1839 when the rising power, the Most Serene Empire of Florentia, declared war for Dumchei. Florentia won in 1844 and took the most developed parts of Dumchei, causing the OTC to go lose all profits from Tusis; selling the land to the Gaellican crown. With greater autonomy, due to the Gaellican state dealing with greater troubles at home, the Tusisian people revolted for greater freedoms. With the revolution successful, previously lesser states smelled blood. The Garindinan Empire and the Kingdom of Ateenia declared war in 1866 to establish themselves as powerful contenders on the wurld stage. In 1868 the last rements of Dumchei were split by Ateenia and Garindina, ending Gaellican rule.

The OTC renamed Saguntum to Caeblux

The Florentian Governorate of Tusis [1844-1962]:

After the Floretian war for Tusis in 1839 to 1844 ended the Florentian Governorate of Tusis was established. The Florentians were much crueler with their rule; with slavery legal and natural resources exploited, the Tusisian populous trust with government entities plummeted, causing much of the internal problems still seen today in Tusis. The colony began to grow cash crops such as sugar cane and cotton, but they could never surpass the value of wheat that was produced. While many independance and slave revolts did occur, none where successful until 1962. In 1931 Tusisians managed to finally overthrow Ateenian colonial rule, yet this was short lived as Florentia took the opportunity to take more of Tusis. Finally, in 1938 the Federal Republic of Garidina sold their colony in Tusis due to the colonial expensise that Garidina no longer wished to pay. Now all of Tusis was under Florentian control. Twenty-four years later, during the decline of Florentia, Tusis managed to have a successful socialist revolution that granted the entire region its independance since 1797.

Florentia renamed Tusis to Ambroisie and Saguntum to Varelle.

West Tusis (Garidina) [1868-1938]:

At the end of the Garidina and Attena war for Tusis in 1868 the Second Garidinan Empire would establish West Tusis. Taking the most remote and rural parts of Tusis the government of Garidina needed to put a lot of investment to get a profit. Yet, the stability for that didn't come for the next few decades. Wars raveged Garidina, creating a great amount of autonomy; establishing a set of freedoms that Tusisians would keep throughout Garidinan colonial rule. The colony founded the now fourth largest city in Tusis, Yekaterinburg (now Aharman), and built a prosperous cattle and agricultural sector that still survives to this day. The only intrusion to Tusisian culture was the failed attempt to christianize the Salamist people. After Garidina became a democracy, the president would determine that West Tusis was too expensisve and would sell the land to Florentia; finally uniting all of Tusis under one banner.

Garidina built Yekaterinburg which was renamed to Aharman.

Ateenian Tusis [1868-1931]:

The Kingdom of Ateenia was probably the cruelest of the colonizers that had domaines over Tusis. The state enslaved the populous and taken from their homes to the frozen Ateenian homeland. Ateenia built agriculture to support Ateenian wineries and mead distilleries, which were mostly worked by Tusisian slaves. Salamist symbols and mosques were distroyed and replaced with vjoldinist iconography and temples. This agression lead to a slave revolt every five to ten years until just over half a century later when Ateenia was undergoing a civil war, the Tusisian slaves managed to free themselves from Ateenian rule. After the Ateenian civil war most Tusisians in Ateenia would be forced to return to Tusis. Now these free Tusisians established the Free Government of Tusis, which would be conquered by Florentia before the first year of full independence.

Ateenia renamed Gades to Fjærhöfn.
