Early this morning Delamarian troops crossed into territory controlled by the Lysian Columbian forces. Fighting has been reported in Swansylvania, Pawnee, Alpen, and parts of Radnor. STATEMENT FROM THE MINISTRY OF DEFENCE

At 11 o'clock yesterday evening, forces of the Kingsland, New Beaumont, and Queen Georgia's regiments took back control of the city of Bodmonton in Radnor, from rebel forces. Despite this victory we must unfortunately inform the nation of Governor Demarches of Radnor's death, an investigation is underway, however the ministry has strong reason to believe that the governor was unjustly executed by forces of the northern assembly.

SEIGE OF BRISELLE ENTERS 10TH DAY

Delamarian forces surrounded the city on the 16th, however fierce fighting from rebel soldiers have slowed any intrusion. The Ministry of Defence reports progress on the south side of the river, however strong defences along the HN2 Motorway has prevented any attack from the north of the city so far. The Ministry has stated that it will refrain from using air strikes against the city unless absolutely necessary.

OFFICE OF THE PRIME MINISTER

Today I am proud to announce that the last bastion of secessionism has fallen back into Delamarian hands. The leaders of this unnecessary and vile conflict, that has ripped brother from brother, have been apprehended and charged with treason. This government will soon conduct investigations into reports of human rights abuses, and the killings of political opponents of the regime in Briselle.

We must admit that the use of air strikes against the city of Briselle was regrettable, and the option was used with the most reluctance. However we can report that civilian injuries were minimal, and that the armed forces of this nation were victorious in their mission. Today for the first time in months we are again united as a nation.

Signed,

Philip Campbell MP

CLASSIFIED BRIEFING FOR SENIOR CABINET MINISTERS - DEPARTMENT FOR HOME AFFAIRS - OFFICE FOR DOMESTIC SECURITY

The Office for Domestic Security must recommend that Delamarian Armed Forces units remain in secessionist regions to quell rebel activity. Though an occupation will be unpopular, and attacks against military personnel will become common, civilian authorities are incapable to execute their duties to maintain civil society and some departments are unloyal to the Delamarian government. Recent intelligence collected points to a large reignition in A.R.C. activity in Fleuria, Geriana and Dalais, the office recommends that the government declare martial law in Fleuria, Deveraux, Dalais, Severn and Geriana, and that the nation be put on Terrorism Risk 4 (Severe, Attack Likely). Cells are currently being monitored in Bodmonton, Alberta, Labrador, New Beaumont and Alpen, the security services have assured the office that should the Prime Minister decide to, these cells could be destroyed by the end of the week, however for intelligence gathering purposes, they have requested that monitoring can continue until the cells pose an immediate danger to the public.

PM SPEECH OVERSHADOWED BY VIOLENCE IN NORTH

LABRADOR. Today at Pritchett House the Prime Minister made a speech to the press encouraging unity among Delamarians, whether they be northern or southern, and said that martial law would come to an end once civil authorities were capable to maintain civil stability. However reports have been received of renewed violence in Briselle with several arrests being made, and more than a dozen injured.

Martial law has been in place for three weeks in some northern states and rebel activity has been quelled, however, protests remain common, and soldiers continue to face attacks by Molotov cocktails and small arms fire. Worryingly ARC (Armee Republican Columbie) activity is said to be on the rise, with threats of attacks received by journalists yesterday. Labrador remains on high alert and armed police can be seen across the city. Similar security measures are in place in Yorkerda, Eastminster, and Bodmonton. The State of Radnor was lucky enough not to be put under martial law with its neighbors, however, the government still says that there is a risk to the public and that people should remain vigilant in the face of Columbian terrorism.

DOMESTIC SECURITY OFFICE COMMUNIQUE - TO PRITCHETT HOUSE

SHIPMENTS FOUND IN BRISELLE TO A.R.C. AFFILIATES ARE BELIEVED TO BE OF ANGLIAN ORIGIN. INTELLIGENCE ALSO POINTS TO ANGLIAN ADVISORS BEING PRESENT IN LYSIAN COLUMBIA. FURTHER INVESTIGATION IS REQUIRED. FULL DEBRIEFING TO TAKE PLACE TOMORROW AT 1100 HOURS AT CANSEC.

VIOLENCE IN NORTH CONTINUES, 7 SOLDIERS KILLED IN CAMP DE LEON

HX3GI5S6PXJUOGCLRZBLO6RQ24.jpg

TODAY IN CAMP-DE-LEON IN FLEURIA a bomb exploded in a cafe being inspected by soldiers enforcing the martial law edict. The newly resurgent ARC has claimed responsibility. The Home Secretary Leon Howard has condemned the bombing, stating that "Now is the time for greater security measures to prevent terror".

Scenes such as this haven't been seen in the streets of Fleuria since the 1990s, and the Prime Minister has called for Lysian leaders to promote civil stability to find amicable solutions to the north's problems.
