I am glad to say that your letter was received warmly by the Holy Imperial Government. Europa has seen little concerted activity in recent years, as many of the nations that populate our continent have grown markedly insular in recent years. This has meant that the more outward looking nations, such as the Greater Holy Empire of the Aromans and the Kingdom of @Great Anglia, have taken divergent paths in an attempt to combat this. Aromania has been looking towards the New Wurld in recent years, forging diplomatic and trade links with the rest of the glube. Great Anglia, on the other hand, has seen fit to wake our shared continent through a campaign of fire and blood. However, we need not consider the actions of that enemy of peace but focus on our nations' relations.

It is peaceful trade that is the way of the future, rather than unequal treaties forced upon unwilling nations. Therefore, the Holy Imperial Government would certainly be willing to open trade talks between our nations. My nation has pursued trade treaties with numerous other nations of Eurth, in an attempt to foster these links but also to help increase the prosperity of all nations and peoples of Eurth. By and large, these have mainly been concerned with reducing tariffs and fees that hurt trade between nations and have often been focussed on the agricultural and renewable sectors.

At preliminary stage, it is felt by my government that we should not leave anything off the table and that nothing should be off limits at this point. We can use these talks to establish the areas that we wish to discuss and areas that we can foster closer ties. I realise that our nations are relatively unequal in size but my government is not going to impose any unequal treaties on nations that are approaching Aromania willingly and with the best interests of all in their hearts.

As your excellency is undoubtedly aware, my nation is one of the largest agricultural producers on Eurth. The Greater Holy Empire also has one of the largest and most advanced alternative energy industries on Eurth, with much of my nation's energy needs being met by renewable sources. These are areas that my government would be keen to focus on. Similarly, my government would be interesting in hearing the areas that both your government and the government of the United Kingdom of @Gaellicia. Whilst there are areas that my government would be less willing to discuss, such as expansion of fossil fuel extraction, as it goes against Aromania's policies, we would still be interesting in hearing what your government may wish to say on these matters. Another item that we might investigate would be to discuss whether our nations wish to improve the accessibility of student and business visas, in order to promote trade and educational links between our nations.

Therefore, my government will accept your invitation for a meeting at Recessa Castle on the 2nd of April, 2023. I have been requested by his Aroman Majesty, Kommodos III, by the Grace of God, Holy Emperor of the Aromans and Equal-to-the-Apostles, to attend this meeting in person. It is felt that my presence, rather than a First Minister or an Upper Minister of my ministry, will facilitate a successful conclusion to this meeting.

He express his desire to ensure that the three nations stand strong and become peacekeepers of the region.

I would like to thank you for your openness and willingness to discuss potential talks outside trade. Austameria is equally interested in exploring these topics to ensure the safety and security of our nations and the region as a whole.

In regards to trade talks, we agree that peaceful trade is the way of the future, and we look forward to establishing areas of discussion that will foster closer ties and increase prosperity for all nations and peoples of Eurth.
