Our ministers have returned from Sirius, praising the warm hospitality your delegates and the people of Sirius extended to them.

Sirius is rich with natural resources and has spectacular landscape with beautiful shorelines.

 

There are several issues we would like to address for your consideration ;

1) Possibility of greater trade;

I propose that a trade agreement should greatly help promote the trade between our nations.

I have attached the example of the agreement we have just made with Amnalos. The purpose of the agreement is to facilitate trading, protect the traders, and set an agreed standard of jurisdiction to resolve problems which may arise. HRH, of course, may wish to amend or propose any issue to your interests. We hope to receive your reply in due course.

2) Embassy and Consulate ;

As trading florish and tourist visiting each other nations, an office of consulate at Sirius and an embassy in Orioni 2 are essential offices. Our delegates there will also serve as my representatives, posted there for the better relations and cooperation between our two nations. We therefore would like your permission in this matter.

3) Business investments- casino, resort & spa, agricultural business.

There are several high potential areas that our businessmen would like to invest in Sirius at the moment. Being a strategic traveling location (inter-connection with west and southwest regions)

we see that the casino business would be very fast growing business there. Same to casino, the resort and spa business would be florish aswell. Our Koku people, as beach lover, would love to spend their short vacation there (we have limited shoreline). The last is the agricultural business. Koku kingdom is consisting of such harsh landscape, with lesser land to cultivate. Our business people are ready to invest in Sirius, teaching the locals to cultivate and buy part of their crops to export to Koku land. This is a win-win agreement.

 

These above are our first interest in Sirius. We are certain that there are more of future cooperation to come.

I. All articles herein shall apply in all matters of trade between the undersigned nations.

 

II. The spirit of this document is to foster good will between the nations of Koku and Amnalos. This ideal is to be held in good faith.

 

III. The government of both nations shall facilitate the warehouses and transport facilities for the use of the other nation's industry and merchantry, to manage the storage and movement of goods through the nation. Trading agreements will be bound by the law of the land where it is made or signed. Criminal and justice matter will be handled by the law of the land where incidence takes place. This article also states the cooperation of the criminal transfer between the two nations.

 

IV. Both nations shall provide safety and safe passage of the other nation's merchants as they do to the locals.

 

V. A tariff of no more than 5% over the local selling price shall be imposed on goods sold, and no transport tariff of more than 3% of transport costs shall be imposed on goods moving through the country.

Your first two proposals are quite interesting to say the least, but we're having some difficulties with your third suggestion. At the moment we are still building the colony and it's cities, so there really isn't any room for tourists yet. We also don't want to destroy the entire area by cutting down all trees in order to expand our agricultural sector.

 

If food is what you want then I think it would be better fro your kingdom to sign a direct agreement with the mainland of Orioni, and escpecially with Zuidhaven and Andro. The agricultural sector in these two areas is highly developed, and Zuidhaven, being a vast metropole, can surely please some of your nationals who want to spend some time in a casino.

 

Other then that, we encourage your efforts to come to a greater understanding.

Well wishes to you , Empress Orioni2. We have received your reply with thank. Apparently, there are 3 issues for our discussion.

 

The first issue is the trade agreement which will be the very first step of our cooperation. The agreement is signed between our two nations, thus the colonies are bound by the agreement as well.

Upon agreement, we look forward to you signature, and we will have our senate approval aswell. [require both king's and senates' approval]

 

The second issue is the establishment of Embassy in Orioni2, and Consulate in Sirius.

We also await your permission in this matter.

 

The third issue is the potential investments we have interest in Sirius. I now understand your priority in the development of Sirius, and withdraw our investments.

Still, we hope that you may reconsider these investments once Sirius is big enough.

 

For the agri-business elsewhere, we have not had much opportunity to visit the mainland and other Europa nations. Our nation is small and we have been adhering to the tradition of ?sufficient living? for decades (since our former king moved from Thailand, south east aisa). However, as we grow, we find it inevitable to seek fo trade and external resources. We will be sending few delegates to your empire and other nations soon.

We can agree to a trade agreement, but would like to propose that our other colonies are not mentioned here. I understand that you want to sign an agreement with Sirius, and maybe Orioni as well. I would like to keep it this simple and not involve any other oversea areas.

 

For the agri-business elsewhere, we have not had much opportunity to visit the mainland and other Europa nations.

Concerning the Why don't you ask your friendly neighbour San Ba if you may use the bridgesystem that links our nations. That way we could easily transport some of our agricultural products to your kingdom.

Warm wish to you, HRH. Empress Orioni, and to your people. It has come to my attention that, since recent correspondant, there are so many of our people who wish to visit your beautiful empire. The ministers have told me how beautiful your architectures and the tourist attractions. Hadn't I been overwhelm with all the duties, I would love a visit aswell.

We therefore would like your visa permissions for the tourists as attached list. Also, we hope that our tourists will receive appropriate treatments and protections. Together with this request, we would like to have your comment on establishing an embassy at Orioni, and a consulate at Sirius.

 

About the agri-business, we just made our first contact with San Ba. We will soon discuss with their leader on using the bridge. Then, we hope Koku can trade more with countries in the central peninsular region.

Regarding the embassy at Orioni, and a consulate at Sirius, it is us who will bare all expenses. Thank you again for your agreement on this. I am sure that my designated officers, that are embassador and consul, will seek for closer cooperation and relations.

 

About the bridge of Sirius and ex-Abysiso, it will be very convenient for our tourist aswell. (However, the bridge of San Ba will be more helpful in goods transportation due to its distance.)

Our first group tour to Orioni has come back. King Koku was very entertained by the photographs taken by one of his privy council, on vacation. Our minister of foreign affairs told that our embassy at Orioni is almost completed. Our Embassador and her staff should start their post soon.

 

Regarding our trade, our business men are ; openning Koku food restaurants, openning travel agencies, and buying local art crafts from Orioni.

 

We expect trade of bulky goods once we finish our talk with San Ba on the bridge.

I would like to thank you for the hospitality our business men have been given. Our ministers in Koku kingdom informed me that we have yet no progress in talking for using the bridge of San Ba. Thus, for the time being, shipments are only by sea vessels.

 

For trading, our travel agencies and restaurants are going well. Our traders have bought a large quantity of Orioni art crafts. We still seek for more trading and collaborations.
