Yesterday, 18th of June 2022 at 9:00 PM, the nations founder former Premier Henri Martin was rushed to the hospital after suffering a heart attack. There doctors declared that there was nothing they could do and proclaimed him dead, his wife, Jaqueline Martin called the ambulance when her husband suddenly collapsed on the kitchen floor just after telling her he had a pain in his arm. Current Premier Louis Monet expressed his condolences with Ms Martin personally and declared outside the National Assembly his death, while a shocked crowd mourned. Funeral proceedings are likely to occur next friday.

(The Following Content may be graphic) Just a few hours ago two men, ages 20 and 22, after a small fight in a local pub went home to their flats, only to return with machetes as they began brutally attacking each other, Police were called immediately and 5 minutes later they arrived only to discover one of the men passed out of the floor with cut marks all over his back and a trail of blood from the other mans leg. The man passed out was rushed to the hospital, Doctors say he is likely to survive, while the other was turned in by his elder brother an hour later with minimal injuries.

Protesters from the infamous "Insulate Advocatius" movement have begun clogging up motorways in order to promote their radical anti-fossil fuel beliefs. The A26 Motorway connecting Victoires to Port-Louis has been clogged by an estimated 86 protesters who have maneuvered their cars in order to block incoming traffic, this has been going on for almost an hour an prevented tens of thousands, if not hundreds and thousands from commuting from either city. As we are speaking police has begun dispersing the protesters but they say it could be up to an hour before traffic is back up running smoothly.

The Funeral for former Premier, founder of the Nation, and Liberator of Advocatius from Dictator Charles Beaumont, Henri Martins funeral is occurring right now as we speak. The Hero of the Nation died at his home 6 days ago, after suffering from multiple strokes he eventually passed from heart disease at 94. Currently his casket is being carried to his hometown of St Elmo, being followed by a crowd of 30,000 the nations over, today we honour his legacy as the Premier has declared a new National Holiday, Martins Day, in order to commemorate his life and how he lead the revolution against authoritarianism.

After terrorising the city of New Worthing for 6 months, police encountered and arrested serial arsonist now identified as Isaac Smith otherwise known as the "Rutland Broiler" set fire to several building within the city and killed 14 people, all of which were mourned. Police caught him at 15:30 when he was found attempting to light a molotov cocktail in an alley on Brecken street, the Officer who caught him, Irene Philips is hailed as a hero. He is likely to be sentenced for life.

Advocatius discontinues Chocineal in Campari products

Campari is an incredibly popular drink from Mantella, and its iconic red colouring comes from a Parasite called Chocineal (E120) in order to create the colour, but in 2006 in most countries where it is available this parasite was discontinued in favour for red food colouring. In order to appeal for the growing number of people following Vegan diets. Advocatius had maintained its use in the drink but today the Advocatian division for Campari announced its discontinuing after a number of protests for its ban to appeal to Vegans. Following the order all Campari products in Advocatius will be Chocineal free from 18/09/2022.

Côte de Fourrure Ultimatum

On 30/07/2022 after a crippling Cyber Attack on the Zaxari Territory of Flaxzar, in which sadly 10 people have either been reported dead or missing, the Zaxari government after conducting an investigation found out that the Anglian backed nation of Côte de Fourrure had orchestrated the event. Following this the Zaxar issued the government of Côte de Fourrure an ultimatum, stating that unless they made a formal apology and paid reparations of $200 Million Adapton Solidus to be paid to the Zaxari government in order repair damaged energy and cyber infrastructure. If the deadline of 5/08/2022 is not met Zaxar threatens sanctions from itself and its allies.

North Sexland legalises Maurijauna

The long entrenched political war in Advocatius in the recreational use of Marijuana or among its users as weed has in North Sexland culminated in the Provincial Assembly after roughly a month of work having repealed the law which disallows its use. Much of Advocatius in the early 90's due to scares of Maurijuana being a so-called "gateway drug" into much more extreme and damaging substances such as Heroin and Cocaine, both of which proven to be incredibly harmful to develop addictions too. This created a scare among parents who advocated for its ban. Since 2011 many Provinces have now started repealing their laws after studies have proven that weed doesn't lead further addiction with more harmful drugs. Pre-North Sexland repeal there were 6 provinces where it was banned, and 6 where it was legal, now the North Sexland has repealed the law a Majority of provinces now have it legal, which could influence further acts.

Man impales seagull who stole his chip

A 56 year old man from Portrun has been arrested for impaling a seagull with a bow and arrow after it has stolen his chip. At a west-portrun pub by the name of the Jolly Sailor Duncan Buck was with his family when a Seagull swooped in and stole a chip in his hand. In a fit of rage he ran to his car and opened his boot grabbing a longbow and an arrow, sniping the seagull out of the air and impaling it to the wall of the next-door nursery. Mr Buck has been arrested for animal cruelty and could potentially be charged with prison time anywhere from 6 months to 5 years, when interviewed his only words were "No regrets f*ck that seagull stealin me chip."

Premier Louis Monet announces even more severe sanctions against Côte de Fourrure

Earlier today our Premier, Louis Monet, in a press conference announced a second set of sanctions against Côte de Fourrure, alongside @Ionio, in response to a second cyber attack on Zaxari Military Infrastructure in the South. It appears that war between Zaxar and Côte de Fourrure is inevitable. Premier Monet's sanctions make it clear that Advocatius would support Zaxar throughout these sequence of events, the military stance as of now is not clear, but war is very much clear, even if we don't want it to be.

Henin Conference marks official end of War

This day, on the 25th of September, our Premier Louis Monet, met with Ionian President John Colucci to negotiate the terms and conditions of Tengrolhan's surrender, and mark the end of hostilities in this conflict. Although the major conflict ended with the joint Advocatian-Ionian capture of Kahram as Tengrolhan was forced to sign a ceasefire, which had forced the majority of troops to surrender, now today as both our and Ionio's head of state signed the treaty, this day would mark the official end of conflict, the Premier Louis Monet has announced this day as one of joy of the thousands of our soldiers that could now return home to see their families and loved ones, this should also be a day of mourning for those brave Advocatian's that won't come home Some politicians are announcing their intentions to pressure the government into making this day into a national holiday to commemorate our victory in this war, which many political experts suspect will be the case in the coming days.

Premier Louis Monet once arriving back in Victoires, had given a speech on the subject of the treaty. -- Translated from Lysian -- "Advocatians, I stand here before you, the people of this great nation that so bravely and resiliently fought back the most dreaded Imperialism attempted to be subjected on our people, with this treaty drafted within the liberated Tengrolhan city of Henin, signed by I and the President of Ionio - marking the official end of hostilities for this conflict, I can only say what is required of me, for everyone in this nation, this war is over, but far from over is rebuilding, for what is required of us all, we must build a stronger and better Advocatius, for the Memory of the Revolution! For the People of this Nation! Long Live Advocatius! Vive le Avouélos!" -- Inspiring words from Premier Monet.

The Terms of the Treaty with introduce a massive 6 Million new citizens into Advocatius, requiring new ID's, Passports, etc, the majority of which being Tengrol, this has caused some to speculate on if the new Autonomous Socialist Republic of Tengrols, may be alongside these new provinces that will arise, become a Province itself, the Republic has been in recent treated more and more as any other Province, and this wouldn't take all that much autonomy away as both are quite similar in how they operate. Additionally, the reason that the Republic was created in the first place was with the political  and social climate at the time dictated that such a significant minority with as much land as they populated, but now with the overwhelming majority of new citizens being Tengrol and them becoming provinces, it would according to some politicians make the most sense to grant the Republic Provincial status. The number of Tengrol's in the nation would increase from 5.5 million, to 11.5 million, still being the 3rd largest ethnic group, but the increased number would give more Tengrol's influence in national decisions.

Advocatius gears up for 2024 National Election

Good Morning Advocatius, todays subject will be on the next Advocatian National Election set for April 2024, 4 years after the 2020 election a lot has changed. Namely the inclusion of the Shfakien War as apart of the wider Anglian conflict is projected to greatly influence the result of the next election, our current Premier, Louis Monet is currently ahead in the polls, and multiple political exports believe in his reelection as the most likely outcome as apart of his coalition. In the previous election the fastest growing party was the Liberal Progressive Party, however currently multiple surveys have seen a drop in support for the party and rise in support for the Union of Workers and Farmers.

This will be the first Advocatian election to include the annexed territory's liberated from the Imperialist State of Tengrolhan, the new state has seen what has been described as 'Socialist Integration' with all major parties creating divisions relating to the region, with the Tengrol Autonomous Republic leading the integration into the Socialist Federal Republic. The National Election operates both as the Election for the Advocatian Premier and also the election of representatives into the National Assembly. With 1 seat equivalent to 1% of the population of the total vote.

Party will likely fall to 4th in the Election, alongside a drop in support for Unionists in core Advocatius but a rise in Tengrolhan, and the Union of
