OOC: The Ahranaian Empire

Okay so first sorry for the massive number of notifications you will all get but after talking with @Xio it was determined that this would be the best course of action to take with me reworking a large portion of my lore for Ahrana and it involves just about all of Central Argis and some of you all I just wanted to include just in case.

So, what is this all about? 

As I have started rewriting the Lore of Ahrana I had this "big idea" that Ahrana was an Empire in Central Argis at one point in time and that it controlled a vast part of Central Argis. Some parts of the area it would have controlled are some nations on the map currently and some areas are not nations but empty space. As this idea grew in my mind, I asked around to a few people that were near me and they were okay with it originally but some of those people have become inactive and such. 

Going forward now I want to ask all of Central Argis and other Agric States that may be affected or those who have an idea or whatever it may be to help me figure out exactly how large it is to have the Empire be in the old times way back when. Some of you may not be okay with it and I totally understand which is why I am doing this threat and will be making a post on the Argis Chat in the Chat on the discord channel. This thread is where I am going to try and keep all the things we have discussed for my reference and things we have agreed upon so I can find it all in place. 

I really would like to have everyone's opinion about this known so I do not step on anyone's toes in the future! If I have already done that, I once again do apologize for stepping on those toes please do forgive me for that action.

I haven't got a map completely created on how exactly I have imagined the Empire looking officially but I will get to working on that and should have it posted here in a few hours!!

This is the map. I am horrible with maps so I hope we did not expect too much 😅

So the Blue is What I am for sure for sure of the Empire. The white represents two things:

1. The white and blue strip Area by Hinteria is part of the blue technically but due to a few things I am unsure of where exactly the southern border of the Empire would be. 

2. The white area below that blue striped area is somehow influenced by the Empire either by direct control or by other means of influence.

It is possible that all this area was under the Empire control but that part is hypothetical and not really figured out honestly. 

But like I stated I would provide the map and areas where I thought the Empire would stretch and then this is where everyone else comes into play and adds their input.

Aahh okay, we might have had a war in the 1200 or 1400's then. As I plan for Littland to have expanded out from its capital. You can add these lands to the empire (there is a snipit of the map with the area in question)

It looks like the Empire is directly bordering the area of modern Lusuviya which could actually help my lore as modern Lusuviyan society did actually form from serfs of many different cultures fleeing their nobles and etc to embrace the free cossack lifestyle in Lusuviya, how long ago would this empire be?

So the Empire would’ve had its beginnings in 550 BCE and the ending of the largest extent of the empire would have ended around mid 1500s. However several lands would have still been under Ahrana and I’ll have to work on that map within the next few days to give an accurate depiction of Ahrana after the mid 1500s

@Lusuviyathis would be the borders around the mid 1500s after withdrawing from the largest extent of the Empires Old Borders. Over the years of course this would shrink to what it is about today but it does that over the years after giving independence to certain lands.

This actually works pretty well with its furthest extent being 1500s because around that time the Lusuviyan Sichs where just being founded and I hoped for it to be like a march of a big empire. Can we discuss this in discord dms? Maybe a Lusuviyan Cossack revolt could have lead to your downfall considering from how I am reading this the 1500s was your peak followed by states gaining independence.

A note for further discussion:

The empire's westernmost area appears to include Prymont's old expansion claim, which has been RP'd (Canamo Canal)

Korelio (placeholder name) also referred to as Lower Rus would have once been part of a Russic kingdom with Verkhnirus/PryRus. 

Perhaps this can be discussed so the lore can be properly integrated.

 

 

 

[Lusuviya]

Hello I just wanted to look at this again and discuss the initial Lusuviyan Cossack Sichs and their revolts that would have lead to the formation of the Confederation of Lusuviya from the Ahranian Empire and was wondering if some time in either the early 18th century or mid to late 17th century for Lusuviyan independence would work, I am open to discuss the exact specifics out on discord.

Some things figured out with @Lusuviya:

• Independence from Ahrana would have become official in 1713
• Before 1713, Lusuviya would have been granted a huge amount of autonomy from Ahrana

 

Some things figured out with @Samm:

• 1550-1830, Littland would have been granted status of protectorate by the Kingdom
• Eventually Littland would declare its independence between the mentioned time period from Ahrana
  • During this Independence Declaration, the Ahranaian Government would not make a fuss due to Littland being so far away from the main sections of the Kingdom
• The Littish Church would be granted the same amount of autonomy during this time period with its own Archbishop then its own Patriarch 1549

We could work this into the mentioned time frame from our early conversation, I do not see why that could not be possible!

After several months of thought with myself and a few other people, I have revised the horrid map of the Empire of Ahrana. This map below is the lands that others and I have come to believe would be part of the Empire at some point. Please do not that the area to the East where @Samm or Littland is noted as a Protectorate. This was decided as it was believed it would fill the need as requested by Littland. The area to the Southwest of Littland is also noted as a Protectorate which made more sense given the Empires Core Borders at the time. 

Anyhow, this is still a work in progress, and I am working with everyone involved to ensure I do not step on any toes.
