[Academy RP- Prolog] The capital is burning...

It all comes back to him, the screams, the death, watching his friends and brother die.. for war that seemed pointless. He sits and wonders in his home,

"We're right back to where we were..."

He cocks his gun when the secret police arrive. 

"GENERAL JOSEPH PETROV! BY ORDER OF THE KING YOUR ARE UNDER ARESST!"

He takes his shot and misses, he killed Supreme Comander Igor Vinogradov. He was supposed to kill the king. Shots began to be fired. Then, he's back on that fateful day in July.

A man walks onto his feild office, Joseph looks up to see Major Ivan Gusev

"What news from the front Ivan?"                 

"The communist have risen up in the eastern industrial area of the nation and the Republians are retreating from the capitol. We have a clear shot on the capitol."   

"Order the troops the get ready. Let me get my gun, I want to be know as the general that liberated Parsa."

Two days latter...      

Joseph is leading his troops to Parsa when he hears some one yell,

"THE CAPITOL IS IN FLAMES! THOSE REPUBLICAN BASTURDS BURNED THE CAPITAL!

The kid was right, the capitol was in flames, from the palace and it's balconies to the senate building. The entire city was in flames. Screams from citizens were coming in every direction.

"ADVANCE! SAVE ALL THAT YOU CAN!"

Moments later artillery shells rain down from the sky. He sees his brother, an other shell hits, he flys in the air missing nearly half of his right side.

Joseph's vision had gone black, he feels a sharp pain in his chest...

he's been shot. 

"That's what traitors deserve..."

That's the last thing he hears from Cammander Ivan Gusev as he lies on the floor of his home over looking what was to be a speech by the king.
