Orioni
TO: All nations in Europa FROM: Orioni SUBJECT: Expansion Orioni has been waiting for some time now, but after quite a long deliberation it has been decided that we will be colonising two areas. We have succesfully done so in the past and hope to achieve the same with this initiative. The areas in question are currently unoccipied and have never been inhabited by any nation before. This makes our claim completely legitimate and reasonably contestable. (OOC: I have already filed this legitimate request in the map thread.) The areas in question are: Area: #17 Name: CORONA BOREALIS. Capital: Corona Borealis. Area: #81 Name: SIRIUS. Capital: Eridanus. Other cities: Sirus, Perseus. (correction: "..in the north and the WEST") The Orioni Government has already asked for the support of Sevrun, Vanarambaion and Stoned Smurfs. We will back their claims if they do the same for us. The Orioni Goverment also asks our great friends of Phil IV and Byzantium Nova to support this claim. How does Europa respond? Those who approve are: Sevrun Byzantium Nova Tagmatium Phil IV Tamurin Koku Ekainak (Free-Ekainak) Vanarambaion Jaihu Lanjon San Ba Spyder Those who object are: (none)Neutral stance: Niederoestereich Meteorola Amnalos TO: Lanjon, Spyder, Ekainak, Tagmatium, Jaihu FROM: Orioni SUBJECT: Expansion The Orioni Government ask your support for the expansion into area 17. If you do so, you will be greatly rewarded: your economy will flourish due to the appearance of a new and friendly trade partner. We hope that you see the positive side of this claim, which would mean a great opportunity for your nation. TO: Abyssio, Amnalos, San Ba, Koku FROM: Orioni SUBJECT: Expansion The Orioni Government ask your support for the expansion into area 81. Our empire has been trading with your nations for ages and would like to strengthen this relation by opening new outlets and providing new products and mineral resources. We hope that you see the positive side of this claim, which would mean a great opportunity for your nation. Link to comment

Tagmatium Rules
Expansion into 17 is fine by us. Link to comment
Orioni
Support noted. Thank you. Link to comment
Kant
We do not offically object, although where all your territory is located, it does allow you to position launching platforms for whatever reason, anywhere in Europa Link to comment
Orioni
We are aware of the tactical possibilities but our interests in the colonies are mainly commercial. New resources would be made available, trade would flourish and the expanded commercial network would also benefit Niederoestereich in some way. It has been noted that you would like to stay neutral in this matter. Link to comment
Tagmatium Rules
Isn't Europa going to get really cramped soon? I think there should be a limit as to how many plots a country should occupy, as sonn the map will be dominated by a few large countries and smaller countries won't be able to get a place on the map, or will only be able to get the worse plots in poor postions. Meteorola
Meteorola will not comment on the matter. Link to comment
Orioni
@ Tagmatium: True, but if you look at the map it might seem reasonable to think that not everything has been explored yet. I've been thinking about an RP-style discoverymission like that for quite some time haven't really been able to find time to work one out. It would also require a lot of work from Byzantium Nova, our mapgod. I think it's best if we leave the option open and work out a solution when it actually poses a problem. Besides, nation are removed from the map as well. Oh yes: your idea of limiting the number of lots a nation can have seems reasonable enough. @ Byzantium Nova: What do you think? @ Meteorola: Noted. I take that as a neutral response. Link to comment
Byzantium Nova
OOC: I am in favor of such proposal because otherwise I need to expand the map soon (and I really need time for that) Lets agree a good amount of slots u can get. Link to comment
Tagmatium Rules
Four or five I think is a good number. May be a poll? That would make the decision more democratic. Link to comment
Phil VII
Phil Iv has no objections to this expansion, and we wish our friends in Orioni all the best in their future! Link to comment

Tagmatium Rules
OOC: I don't think you'll get an answer from Abyssio, as he hasn't visited his country in more than 20 days, although he could be on holiday. Link to comment

Amnalos
Amnalos neither supports nor objects to Orioni's claim of plot #81. We would also like to make it clear that any further claims by any nations to plots adjoining the current borders of Amnalos will be strongly objected to.
