OOC: The Hinterian Strait

It's ya boi, at it with a treaty and such. Me and @Ahrana have been hashing out the usage of the strait coming out of Intria into the Adlantic, which passes through me. @Walneria @Transbaltia and maybe @Shapashun(it's hard to see on the map but I think you have access) border the lake, so would need to be signatories. The treaty is based off the one that deals with the strait that passes through Turkey (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montreux_Convention_Regarding_the_Regime_of_the_Straits), so there won't be any trade restriction. If you have questions about the treaty post em here and when your nation or any predecessors would be able to sign and we can get it started.

So, after reading the article I believe how it is all worded in that article could be a good starting point. However, I think that there are some areas on this treaty that we should avoid in anything we come up with as it has seemed to create issues in modern times and there are several loopholes that have been used irresponsibly. I think we should try to avoid things like that.

The Confederation of Lusuviya after a discussion in the Federal Diet states its willingness for a Strait resolution due to its potential benefits to Lusiviyan trade and especially to the river port of Bolotnihrad.

Dazhdinia is completely open to this idea. Given the current government's orientation towards more international trade and seeking of further partnerships, Dazhdinia will welcome any step that would promote the position of Dazhdinia on the wurld scene, especially in the areas around Intria.
