Any foreign company, of a nationality not sanctioned by the Empire, following the deposition of an application, may benefit of tax-cut for the first 5 years (which may take the shape of a tax exemption) of exploitation on imperial ground following the opening of their venture, as long as they meet the following:

• comprehensive glubal investment of a minimum of 1 million Ryau annually;
• hiring of a minimum of 80% local staff;
• establish a partnership with a local company through the creation of a common venture and shared capital (minimum 10%);

 

Such company shall benefits of the same status as any kōri-chi one (including, but not limited to: exploitation of natural resources from energy to food; ownership of real-estate; defiscalised dividends; placement for governmental contracts; administrative and taxation facilities) alongside the 5 years tax-cut.

My company, Zaxar Aqua Co. is very much interested in an expansion into your great dominion, and subsequently would like to request the opening of a production site along with a distribution hub within the Imperial Free Trade Zone (IFTZ).

Zaxar Aqua Co. is, as you would know, the largest aquaculture business in Zaxar and likely in south Aurelia as a whole. We are best known for our industrial-scale kelp farms, cod, and shellfish, though we do have production of countless other sea-dwelling flora and fauna as well.

The main goal of this expansion would be to meet the domestic demand for seafood, prevalent in Marenesia. Being a supplier of perishable foods, it is all but a necessity to have a local production site in order to adequately and reliably supply our products to our customers.

Along with our direct investment through our facilities and employment, if will also certainly be in the interest of our cooperation to invest in the local infrastructure and development of your dominion and Marenesia as a whole once our business is thoroughly established.

In regards to the environmental concerns and waste management, I am pleased to inform you that our environmental impact is one of the best in the wurld. With our farming taking place entirely underwater, our CO2 emissions are minimal from our fish stock and net negative when taking into account our seaweed and algal production. Our shellfish nurseries are particularly great for local ecosystems as they provide both food and shelter for fish, who in turn keep our animals completely free of parasites and pests without the use of fertilizers. Our more polluting fisheries are always kept inland in feeding ponds or are placed in one of our kelp fields in order to prevent the spread of algae bloom causing waste.

Over the course of this project, we plan to employ up to 350 natives of Kōri-Chi, with initial investments projected to employ around 100. We would like to a near 100% native employee rate at some point, however, due to the technical skills and job experience required to run a successful venture, that we will originally require at least 20% of our employees to be experienced individuals from some of our other operation sites. We understand that this is not ideal for your plans, however we are fully committed to training local workers to very quickly replace our own and native Zaxars will soon be solely responsible for oversight and training jobs in our Kōri-Chian venture.
