Ngọc Luật, officially the Nationalist Republic of Ngoc Luat (Ngocluatian: Cộng Hòa Dân Quốc Ngọc Luật [or Ngọc Luật Dân Quốc]) is a nation located on [Continent], bordering [Countries]. Being the inhabitant of 37.2 million Ngocluatians. It is economically progressive but socially conservative, with a nationalistic atmosphere filling the country. With many criticisms about the flawed democracy in the nation, the Tổng Thống (President), Lê Công Minh, has been leading the nation since 2012, with many controversies floating above his head about voting fraud. Even though there is freedom of expression in the country, it's almost as if it's non-existent as state-ran media are more favorable to the mass populace. The National Army of Ngọc Luật (Quân Đội Quốc Gia Ngọc Luật) has 120,000 men, most of which are or have been under heavy training to protect the sovereignty of the nation. Its GDP per capita is reported to be around 18,000 to 20,000, but some sources said otherwise as evidence of wealth gaps and corruption are still up for debate.

History:

The land where the Ngocluatians now located were inhabited by proto-Ngocluatians, who lived through the Đại Đông (Great East) culture, their version of the Bronze Age.

The country went through a lot of changes during its dynastic and forming years. The first, real state of Ngọc Luật, known at the time as Đại Ngọc (Great Ngoc), with the Hồ Đế (Emperor Hồ) crowning himself Emperor in 940 AD. In 1009, when the [Big country] invaded, the first wake of Ngocluatian nationalism was awoken, even though the war was a defeat and parts of the Empire were lost, Ngocluatians living in the occupied region continues to revolt until they were successfully reintegrated back into the Empire.

The Empire encountered a pattern of the country forming, with one dynasty bringing prosperity into the country, but then the last few monarchs would be corrupted and get overthrown, being replaced by a different dynasty and the cycle would continue. The Hồ Dynasty was followed by the Cố Dynasty before being overthrown in 1203 by the Huỳnh Dynasty, they would rule the Empire up until 1831 when the Fearannteth shot the bullet of colonization into Ngoc Luat. After years of fierce fighting, the Empire was reduced to a colony.

Countless revolts and riots were followed by a massive, nation-wide revolution, led by Tổng thống lĩnh Đại Công (real name Huỳnh Lâm Hoa). The revolution was a bloody one, but the Ngocluat stood tall, establishing the Great State of Ngọc Luật (Đại Ngọc Luật Quốc) with Đại Công being the first President, running the Nationalist Government (Chính phủ Quốc Dân) and receiving the moniker "Father of The Nation."

His presidency was controversial, declaring martial law when the poor populace began to protest, what followed was the Red Terror (Hồng Khủng Bố), where around 4,000 to 5,000 Ngocluatian were executed on the streets and 200,000 more imprisoned without trials. It would only end when a different revolution, led by a socialist leader, Ngô Bất Tố, fought the central government, the revolution lasted from 1967 to 1972, with casualties racking up to 200,000 lives lost, in the end, the nationalist government won, but Đại Công would resign and eventually died in 1975, opening the doors of Ngoc Luat to democracy.

The very first fair election was held in 1976, with the Nationalist People's Party (Đảng Quốc Dân), a party that split from the Nationalist Government ran by Đại Công, winning by a landslide, installing Huỳnh Sinh Công as the first democratically elected president. Modern Ngoc Luat, even though somewhat free and democratic, is ridden with problems, suspected fraud from the Nationalist People's Party, a rising wealth gap, and widespread corruption, but the Legislature of Ngoc Luat promised to do whatever it takes to reduce the amount of "bad influence" and "poison" inside as much as possible, to establish a strong Ngoc Luat.

Future:

In mid-2022, a general election will decide the nation's future. The Legislature of Ngoc Luat, Lập Pháp Viện, will also be holding its legislative election near this time.

A newly created party, the People's National Prosperity Party (Thịnh Vượng Của Quốc Dân Đảng) having a possible chance to replace the Nationalist People's Party dominance in the general election.

Prime Minister Huỳnh Lâm Trung promised that he would raise funds for the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (Bộ Nông nghiệp và Phát triển Nông thôn) and the Ministry of Planning and Investment (Bộ Kế hoạch và Đầu tư) to improve the living conditions and infrastructure of the rural areas.

Ministry of Industry and Trade (Bộ Công thương) announced that the country will enter into the state of "International cooperation" by the end of 2022, somewhat saying that the Ngocluatian integration into the International economy.

Hồ Công Thành • Bộ trưởng Bộ Quốc phòng (Minister of Defence)

Economy:

The nation's economy is growing fast due to the Ngocluatian ingenuity and creativity in incorporating new sectors into the country. Its agriculture sector is still a massive contributor to the economy, but it would soon be eclipsed by the industrial and service sector. To support its economy, it focuses on importing raw products (except for rubber and aluminum) and exporting high-quality products.
