The Associated News Agencies (ANA) of Roqoo is the leading national cooperative of news agencies with central offices in Nime. ANA publishes news collected from over three dozen major national broadcast and written periodical publications. Operating over 15 bureaus in Roqoo, the ANA is the largest distributor of current events across the Divine Realm of Roqoo.

8-KAV-22 (7-Feb-22) -- NIME -- In a press briefing today, the Division of Foreign Relations announced that His Most Revered, Candar Jalo Hanninen accepted an invitation from the Governor of the Dominion of Kōri-Chi to attend an official state gala. Official government travel reports confirm that the Candar commenced travel to the island nation just off Roqoo's southern coast yesterday aboard the Roquanian executive aircraft arriving a few short hours later in the Kōri-Chi capital city, Dākuōku. 

Government filings identified that Candar Hanninen was accompanied by the head of the Roquan Department of Trade and Foreign Affairs and the Roquan ambassador to Kōri-Chi, a recent appointee replacing former Ambassador Saaval who announced his retirement earlier in the year. 

ANA sources report that the Roquanian leader is among the only head of state attending the Kōri-Chi gala aside from the Kōri-Chi governor. A spokesperson for the Office of the Candar stating that trade negotiations and diplomatic relations with the southern nation are of vital importance to the stability of Roqoo and southern Marenesia. The official state visit itinerary filed within the Department of Trade and Foreign Affairs outlines that the Candar and Prelate for Trade and Foreign Affairs are set to return to Roqoo the 11th.

In other news, global tensions are on the rise as several reports surface that multiple countries, including the United Kingdom of Gallambria and Commonwealth of Delamaria, have dispelled all officials and diplomats of the Kingdom of Great Anglia from their respective territory. Additionally, several sources disclosed that other Argic and Aurelian nations have issued notice to their respective citizens to avoid the traveling to the Kingdom of Great Anglia and regions bordering the Amnalos Sea.

At this time, the Roquan government has made no official statements or position regarding the impending conflict, but have faith that ANA is following the affairs closely and will provide regular updates as the situation develops.

30-LIR-23 (6-APR-23) -- NIME -- Spokespersons from the Office of the Candar, the head of state of Roqoo, and the Hurskaat, the legislative body of Roqoo, stated in a joint release today that Candar Valtteri Laakso has arrived in Nime to kick off the annual week of joint sessions held between the legislative body and the head of state. Kansleri Eliina Makkara, chair of the Hurskaat, and the six kirkkoherra welcomed the Candar at a morning reception in the grand hall of the Nime Council House. 

Official travel documents released by the Office of the Candar state the head of state is expected to remain in Nime throughout the next 10 days before embarking on a nationwide tour expected to culminate in a state visit in Raahe for festival ceremonies for Sventa, the national holiday commemorating the Apoapsis and the beginning of the Mid-Year Celebrations, and groundbreaking of the Raahe-Errotua hydrogeneration project. 

During the joint sessions at the Council House, the Candar and Hurskaat are expected to review the national budget, joint agenda for legislative priorities, and the pending term ending dates for the kirkkoherra representing the three regions of Roqoo. 

Advance announcement from the Cloister of the Viisaat of the Solleu Livot show that following the joint session at the Council House, Candar Laakso will travel back to the Kalliomoskeija in Bellamy for the annual Livoti conclave in which the viisaat and Candar will converse about the state of the faith and develop a list of potential kirkkoherra candidates.

Initial Spring run-off estimates broken in northeastern Roqoo as river flow along the Haara continue to surpass historical run-off estimates. While wide-spread flooding has not occurred, residents living near the Haara, tributary streams, and along the eastern shore of Lake Sinona have been placed on high alert by district officials. 

Spring has officially begun at Teijo National Park as indicated by the first large bloom across the fen, the largest, contiguous protected wetland area in Roqoo. 

City of Raahe in southeastern Roqoo announced the winning bid for the largest ever run-of-the-river hydropower project in Roquanian history. The construction firm selected, Kolvi, states the project is expected to provide 3,400 megawatts and is expected to replace the aging natural gas power facility located just north of Raahe upon completion.
