 Gotneskan Foreign Policy

          This is the official statement to the state of foreign affairs of Gorneskan as set out by the Riksdag, and approved by her Majesty Queen Sorchá II, so that none may claim ignorance of their actions and potential consequences.

The Gotneskan Minister or Foreign Affairs is Miss Peatáin Ceallachain, Ambassador to the Gotneskan Monarchy & Envoy of the Great Kingdom of Gothneska.

Any and all request must be sent to Miss Ceallachain, a dispatch with the queens statement will be sent out as soon as possible.

The Core Policies of Gotneska are as follows:

1. Any Ambassador making fun of the Gotneskan culture or different religious beliefs will be sent back to there home nation. Charges may come if needed. And a look into the relations will be put into review if we feel that the Ambassadors home nation is no longer in code with what our policy rules stat we will close our embassy, and new talks most start.

2. We will engage in diplomatic relations with almost any political ideologies, but a review will be made for countries with a history of  poor Human Rights 

3. Religious freedom within Gotneska will  be tolerated. 

And Lastly The Kingdom of Gotneksa is a   offically a Neutral State since (OOC) 02/15/23. This means we will not favor a side in a war or join in a foreign war. Unless stated by our beloved Queen, Prime Minister, or anyone else that is allowed to speak on the matter.

Salutations, 

It has recently come to the notice of the Supreme People's Assembly and the Velaherian Revolutionary Council, With the advent of your immoral declaration, which is partially the reason for the application of such harsh words on the gotneskan government, that, the Riksdag, has recently made an simply pitiable and intolerable decision of putting Christina Andersdottir, on the position as the Minister for Human Rights and Services of Gotneska.

We simply, cannot tolerate an succesor to a generation of "war criminals" and "class traitors" being accepted into another society, let alone being promoted to being a part of a government of a foreign nation, we humbly want to let the Riksdag know, that the person they are letting to be a part of their institutions and who sadly is a part of the gotneskan royal family already, along with several other velaherian "traitors". Is nothing less than a dolch collaborator, whose family actively supported the "Dolchordenstadt" during their battle against the glorious revolutionaries of the VPP and the Velaherian socialist cause. 

We demand that, she is to be stripped of her titles, and the position she enjoys, and sent back to velaheria, to face charges regarding cases of mass murder, and collaboration with the "Dolchic menace", Anything short of this, would mean harsh, diplomatic sanctions from the velaherian state, and increment in tarrifs of major velaherian exports, along with sanctions on members of the former velaherian royal nobilities and the gotneskan royal family...

I’m truly sorry but understand under no circumstances will the Queen Sarah II strip her cousin of the title Minister of Human Rights and Services. The fact that you have gone this far shows how much hated you have for your own people. Or a decent of your people this is truly sickening. We can’t and will not send her back to a country that in the short term only cares to eliminating her, as you she her as a threat. 
 

Plus what would this make Gotneska look like handing over a 22 year old Gotneskan Born female to be sentenced to death all because she had nobility ancestry from your preceding nation.

The Department of Foreign Affairs and the Government of the Commonwealth of Delamaria would like to make it known to you that we stand fervently behind your government regarding recent demands of the Velaherian regime. These demands are completely unfounded and based on the actions of people long passed to punish an innocent Gotneskan due to her relations, of which she has no power over. This outrageous act is purely out of spite if not a publicity stunt, and we very much agree with your decision not to send an individual, a champion of human rights, to face certain imprisonment or execution through no fault of their own.

Any undue harm inflicted on Gotneska, whether it be diplomatic or economic, by the Velaherian regime because of these ludicrous demands will be met with assistance for Gotneska, and repercussions for @DPR Velaheria.

Your Excellency,

I will begin this message by stating that the Agios Basilikon Kounsistorion and the Arhomaioi stand by the Regaseion tes Gotalandeias, as a nation that respects the rule of law and the laws of God. In this way, the Megas Agios Basileia is very similar to that of your great nation. As well as that, Gotalandeia has demonstrated that it can be worked with and has the potential to be key partner of Arhomaion in eastern Argis. Hopefully, our nations will come together closer in the future. As I stated in our last communication, other nations are watching the events in eastern Argis and taking note.

Clearly, your government cannot acquiesce to the demands being made by that of the Laiki Demokratiki Demokrateia tes Velaghereias (Democratic People's Republic of @DPR Velaheria). To hand over a minister of state, especially one so young, to an uncertain fate, would be a gross crime. As well as that, it does seem that the Velagheriki government is apparently keen on acting as if Princess Christina Andersdottir is guilty of the alleged crimes of her family. This in itself is perhaps a window into the mindset of those that run that totalitarian regime – nations such as those often put whole generations of the same family into prisons, or worse. Rejecting these outlandish demands is the only thing that your government could have done. To do anything else would have weakened Gotalandeias on the wurld stage and made it seem that any tinpot dictatorship could bully your Regaseion whenever it wished.

The Velagheroi also threaten to place sanctions against your nation and this is not something that your people should be afraid of. After all, the People's Democratic Republic is amongst the poorer nations of Eurth. It is doubtful whether any sanctions that they put into place would make much of an impact on your nation, compared to the impact that they would have on their own nation. However, if it seems that they are having an impact, the Agios Basilikon Kounsistorion would be willing to step in to help your nation fend off any negative affects. After all, it is perhaps better that the Godless nation of Velaheria suffer repercussions for its actions. In time, this may well mean that the unfortunate people of Velaheria might see the regime that rules it for what it truly is.
