I'm very sorry for the delays, however due to recent changes to Eurth your application has been taking an unusual amount of time to be processed, and I'm afraid it may be delayed for another week as I will not have access to a computer for that time to do the necessary steps for an application. I hope this will not impact your decision to stay with Eurth due to these unfortunate circumstances.

What work has been done into reviewing your application is that your culture (south asian) will most likely be placed in Eastern Europa, which was recently cleared out of NPCs. Your country will most likely be placed in either of these two areas shown below.

While our cartographer is on hiatus, different staff members will be answering threads while one of the admins handles the actual make-map-look-pretty-with-new-nation part.

With the north you'd be much cooler but net a much more mountainous range while in the south it is temperate and shorter mountains. It is worth noting and up to you.

Hello and my deepest apologises @Mahana for dragging you through perhaps the longest map application in Eurth's history, very sorry. But now we can finally start your application for real.

Stats
Your stats are good, surprised to see you go for only 3 points but I respect it. Your stats give you a land area of 91,000 - 260,000 km^2.

Culture, Climate, Desired Location
As shown above, those red highlighted areas would be great for south Asians, however a more exact location would be central-south Europa near the tall mountains and larger highlands.

I would strongly urge against landlockedness in this case, due to the lack of active members, also your borders may be a bit awkward due to the closeness to the coastline both tall highland regions are. Nevertheless below are some potential locations, I have selected 3 locations which I believe fit your country best. It is up to you to choose which one (if any) you like. Then we can refine the borders here or in Discord DMs.

1.

At around 241,600 km^2, This would give Mahana a largely mountainous and highland climate close to the tropics with Dravidian Kotowari and Tamarini nearby (Kotowari a regional NPC and Tamarini + Mekabiri NPCs under Orioni). There is also a very slight technically-coastline on the small inland lake which flows into the open ocean, but for all intents and purposes Mahana is landlocked yet is still close to the members of Cristina, Orioni, and recent graduate Safiloa.

2.

With a land area of 197,200 km^2, this proposal is in a similar situation to the first, bordering an inland lake that flows out into the open ocean but still landlocked. Their only shown neighbour is Akiiryu which is a regional NPC, and is generally more isolated, but the mountain area is much larger than the first.

3.

163,000 km^2. Completely landlocked with the entire country made up of modest highlands and large river valleys. I would be careful taking this option as there is only one neighbour (Kotowari) and Mahana would be completely isolated with little easy way to interact with other members. I would only take this option if you are 100% confident in knowing how you plan to stay long-term on Eurth.

I would like to go with the third as I see myself here on Eurth as a long-term project and the area is the most desirable. Is there a range for how tall the tallest of the mountains are?
