Culture: Götaish is mostly Nordic with a tad Gaelic. Meallángan is purely Gaelic (Irish)

 

Climate: Cold to very cold winters and warm summers, rainy and snowy 

 

History: The modern state of Gotneska, was founded around the year 917 AD. The nation has dealt with ethnic tension since it’s founding the church until about the mid 1600’s was able to keep the people groups from going to war. But when the Protestant reformation arrived in gotneska it completely changed the political landscape of the nation for ever. In 1976 after decades of unrest and political change lead to a civil war that lasted till 1994. Today the nation is ruled by the young Queen Sarah II.

 

Desired Location: Northern Argis, can be coastal or inland and have access to oceans, I'd also like mountains/ highlands & rivers.

The temperate dry tip of the continent is already taken up by Ebrary (a Celtic nation) with the western half of the peninsula made up of Nordic states. There are also some high mountains in the centre-west of the peninsula.

Yeah pretty much. At that time northern Argis was much more barren and the Argic Passage + Polar Service had much more value linking all the northern countries/providing a RP plot device.
