The Commonwealth all over the wurld: The Foreign Office, located on the Pelecena Marketstreet in Arkos, and its network of diplomatic missions around the globe shape Commonwealth foreign policy.spacer.png

This includes the analysis of wurld politics and crisis management on an international scale, the protection of human rights and the promotion of cultural exchange.

Arthur Cornwall Minister for Foreign Affairs opens the new Foreign Office with these Words. "We came to stay we already opened our Office for Foreign Economic Affairs, and now It's time that we not only open our Nation for Economic interests but also for Diplomatic options all over the Wurld. It is time that we as a Nation reach out to our Neighbors and Nations all over the Wurld to form a strong Connection between all of us. "

Chancellor Nyanta Akamura and President Evie Aksoy were there to open the Office Formally and holding a short speech. "We have done something a lot of Nations have done before us and we are very Proud of that step, It's time that we show the Wurld who we are and what we can offer. It's time to share our Values and Ideas with the Wurld and enter a new Age of Foreign Affairs. I hope strongly that this won't only Solidify our Nation as a whole but also bring us Prosperity and long-lasting Peace" -Chancellor Nyanta Akamura
The Festivity was a big event and the first Official Statement of the new Government. After the Festivity was over the Heads of Government both got back to the Federal Diet Building while  Cornwall startet his work as Foreign Minister.

Your Excellency,

Our nations have not have much in the way of contact in recent years. The part of Argis that your nation is located in has not been one that has attracted the attention of the Greater Holy Empire. Certainly in recent years, much of the wurld's attention has either been drawn to northern and central Argis, where some of Eurth's foremost nations lie or to south-eastern Argis, which has often been a troubled area. This is especially the case in the light of the crisis on the island of Ceris and the Sentist War that followed close on its heels. This, sadly, has meant that the attention of the Holy Imperial Government has been turned away from the Auraid Bay and the nations that surround it but this does not mean that Tagmatium does not value those nations, nor see them as unworthy of becoming equal partners.

To this end, I would request that the Commonwealth of Nyantastan considers an exchange of embassies between our nations. This would be a good starting point for relations, enabling our nations to formalise what little contact that we have had in the past. The continent of Argis is a vibrant one and is only becoming more so. As it is, Tagmatium has many valued partners on your continent, even relatively close by to you – such as the Commonwealth of @Delamariato your south and the Christian Commonwealth of @Ebrary to your nation's east. The Greater Holy Empire is keen to maintain good relations with all Argic nations, yours included.

It is hoped by the Holy Imperial Government and the people of Tagmatium that this exchange of embassies – so long as your government agrees to it – will mark the start of a long, fruitful and friendly relationship between our two nations. I do not doubt that there is much that we could learn from one another. I hope that, in time, our nations become valuable partners to each other.

With God's blessing, this will be the start of a close and valued friendship between our nations.

Your Excellency,

It is true that we did not have much contact in these years but it would be a pleasure to change this from now into the Future.
It would be more than Appropriate to exchange Embassies and i will personally oversee the matter so we can quickly and efficiently exchange Embassies.
From there, I would be happy if we could use this common foundation to take the first steps towards a free trade agreement or similar links between business and culture. I think that our Nation can learn a lot from your Country and that the benefits we can provide for the both of us form a strong friendship.

Also it would be a Pleasure to invite you to visit our Nation. I also would not say no to an Invitation to your Prosperous and Beautiful Country. As you already said i hope that will be the  start of a long, fruitful and friendly relationship between our two nations.

With best regards,

 Arthur Cornwall

Your Excellency,

The Holy Imperial Government is heartened by your nation's acceptance of the offer of an exchange of embassies. I pray that this will be the start of a valued friendship between our nations, one that will not only lead to both Nyantastan and the Greater Holy Empire reaping both physical and spiritual benefits, but one that would be advantageous for all of Eurth. As nations have closer contact, it usually becomes clear that there are more similarities than differences, or that any differences are easily surmountable. This then means that peace and prosperity are much more attractive than conflict and parsimony.

I have discussed potential suitable candidates to act as an ambassador to the Commonwealth with my nation's diplomatic service. The candidate that has been selected is Proudentia Theodotia, a diplomat who has served as a deputy head of mission in several postings in Europa. The posting to your nation would represent the first time that Mrs Theodotia has been appointed as ambassador. However, the wealth of experience she brings to the role means that I do not doubt that she would serve admirably as my nation's ambassador. However, if you feel that, at this stage, your government would prefer another candidate, that can readily be arranged and no offence would be drawn from it.

Now, with regards to initiating discussions for a free trade agreement, reducing visa restrictions or stimulating cultural links, I can safely say that the Holy Imperial Government is keen to forge such agreements. I have taken the liberty of attaching a brief on my nation's economy, although I do not doubt your excellency is at least aware of some of the aspects of that already. Whilst I do not wish to denigrate or cast aspersions upon any aspect of my nation's economy, there are certainly niches into which Nyantastan may be able to find a receptive market – such as the automotive sector. Equally, from what I have been briefed on the Commonwealth's economy and climate, I can imagine that your nation may well be open to the import of agricultural products from my nation, especially foodstuffs.

However, this exchange of communications is not necessarily the place to go into detail on this. I would gladly organise the discussion of a trade deal between our nations, where these options, and more, can be investigated further.

With God's blessings, our nations will have a great future together.

Your Excellency,

I would be more than pleased to accept your ambassador even if they are not rich on Experience, I feel it would be a suitable position to grow even further. I'm sure Mrs Theodotia  will be more than Capable to represent you well.   We also have discussed potential Candidates. As a Nation that is somewhat new to the Wurld stage  we lack some Experience in the Department. But I hope that Edwin Hayes will be the right person for the Job. He already worked greatly in influencing the Nations in our Commonwealth and is renowned for his ability to stay calm in every Situation. If you feel this would not suit you I would be more than please to make another suggestion for a Potential Candidate.

In regard to initiating discussions for a free trade agreement, reducing visa restrictions or stimulating cultural links, I can safely say that the Nyantastani Government would also have a great interest in this. And we take no offense in your briefing about your economies. As you can fairly assume, we also did our homework. It would be indeed a wise move to import some of your Domestic Food products from Meats to fruits a wider variety  would be more than wished for not only by our People. I also assume that we could try to help you in the Automotive sector. But I would suggest something different, some of our biggest Companies are in Furnishing and Telecommunications. I would assume that these could be a considerable fit for our Economies. But we will also notify our Automotive sector to see if we can give you if not some of our products at least some expertise in that field.

But you are Completely right this is not the place to go into detail.  It would be an Honor if you would organize such an  event. Please notify us if you have concrete plans on this matter. And do not hesitate to ask us to help with organization or hosting that event.

From: the Agios Basilikon Kounsistorion of the Megas Agios Basileia ton Arhomaion

Your Excellency,

The Agios Basilikon Kounsistorion was deeply shocked by the actions of the State of @Ulfheimr. Indeed, it surprised my government significantly – until that very moment, Arhomaneia had viewed that the Oulfhimeriki state as isolationist and inward-looking and therefore not likely a threat to the interests of the Megas Agios Basileia or the nations friendly to it. This is despite the anti-Christian rhetoric of the Oulfhimeroi and the carefully curated image it projects as almost the archetypal barbarians. Perhaps this was an oversight by the government of my nation. From this moment onwards, my nation's intelligence services will have to monitor the actions of the Oulfhimeriki government and nation much, much more carefully. It is clear that they need more of an eye kept on them.

Their isolationism, however, seems to be merely a front, as is the carefully propagated as the idea of the Oulfhimeroi being mere barbarians that can be overlooked. The fact that the Oulfhimeroi were prepared to use a bomber to drop incendiary devices so close to your nation's border and without any attempt to limit any potential collateral damage or even notifying that they were acting in such a manner is deeply worrying – and not just from the point of view of Arhomaneia that such wanton damage to the environment is a strike against the fact the fact that mankind has been put on Eurth to act as stewards of God's creation. It also threatens the economic basis of your nation, as one of the primary exports of your nation is from the carefully managed forests of the Commonwealth.

Were it an action to limit forest fires – although the climate of the area suggests this unlikely – or as a crude method of forest clearance, then it might be expect these burning actions to be carried out through personnel on the ground. Certainly, it would have been polite to alert your nation as to these activities taking place. Arhomaneia is used to a neighbour acting in a belligerent manner and without notice and it has been the experience of my government that the only solution to these action being repeated is a coordinated front between nations opposed to that rogue nation.

That being said, increased cooperation between our nations is a key factor in the strategy of the Agios Basilikon Kounsistorion's approach to eastern Argis outside of Yeetland, my government is keen to help the government of the Commonwealth to protect its borders, its resources and its economy. To this end, the Agios Basilikon Kounsistorion would be willing to offer your honoured government the ability to protect itself from any incursion into its territory, especially ones that threaten the livelihood of your people and your nation.

Therefore, Arhomaneia is willing to offer the Commonwealth the opportunity to purchase anti-aircraft defence systems, in order to keep your nation's borders secure. These would be dependent on whether your government is willing to take up this offer, of course. It would be the systems, termed Aikwitos and Averrounkos, which should give your nation the ability to defend its airspace from incursions in the future. If your government and military then consider these purchases to be successful, as they should be, then Arhomaneia would be prepared to sell the Auspikios system as well. Of course, my nation would also provide personnel and training programmes along with those anti-air systems to make sure that your nation's military is able to utilise them so that the borders of the Commonwealth remain inviolate.

The aircraft carrier BPP Agios Ioulianos and its battle group are operating in the area of the Geltic Sea. If your government so wishes, the BPP Agios Ioulianos can appear off of the coast of your nation and perhaps even pay a friendly visit to Arkos. This may well remind your neighbours that Arhomaneia is willing to protect nations friendly to it from hostile action. However, this cannot be portrayed as an explicit threat, or even an implicit threat, towards the Oulfhimeroi. It is merely a reminder that your nation has other nations that view it as friendly and would be concerned if the situation were to spiral further than it already has.

May God bring peace to eastern Argis.

Your Excellency,

it fills me with gratitude that we have allies who will stand at our site. While the Recent development seems to be ending, we still seek to upgrade our defensive capabilities in that regard. It would be a pleasure to welcome the  BPP Agios Ioulianos and its battle group in our ports, but only if this won't hold them off from their important mission. I have already spoken with our  Defence Minister James Hurst, and we agreed that it would be a wise choice to purchase Anti-Air equipment and would therefore order enough to outfit one or two regiments of three or four batteries, each of six weapons.

18 Augor Medium-Range Surface-to-Air Missile Systems (3 launchers and 1 radar tracking system per set, 80 missiles per group)

18 Aikwitos Short-Range Anti-Aircraft Gun System (2 gun systems and radar, ammunition and spares)

12 Averrounkos Short-Range Surface-to-Air Missile Systems (1 3-missile launcher and 80 missiles)

As you know, we don't have the biggest military budget, so we would pay a yearly sum till the exchange is done. We believe that this should secure our Air Superiority in our own country and deter any further actions. I think the Details of the Contract should be handled by our respective defensive Ministers.
We thank you for your Support and hope we can grow even closer as Allies trough this trying times.

Your Excellency,

It gladdens the hearts of all Arhomaioi, and all true Christians, that the situation on your eastern border has seemed to calm down, at least for the time being.

It would have been a tragedy if the Oulfhimeroi had done more than just posture – but it seems that calmer heads have prevailed in within the government of your eastern neighbour. This is something to be glad of, of course. Hopefully, in time, this could mean that they might be less inclined to displays of military conceit and more open to peaceful relations with their neighbour.

Another question that our governments might ask themselves is where they, the Oulfhimeroi (@Ulfheimr) were able to get a jet bomber from – until now, it was not suspected by the Arhomaiki intelligence agencies that they had such things. It may well be that another Argic nation, or a country further afield, has recently began trading arms with them. This is something that will need to be monitored.

That aside, I will address the points that your excellency has raised.

Firstly, I have forwarded on the request to purchase anti-aircraft weaponry to the Logothesion tou Stratiotikou, the Ministry for War. I can say at this moment that his Aroman Majesty, Kommodos III, by the Grace of Christ the God, faithful Holy Emperor and Autocrat of the Aromans and Equal-to-the-Apostles, looks favourably on selling defensive armaments to the Commonwealth. Your nation is a key partner in eastern Argis, after all, and something that strengthens your nation's ability to defend itself is something that, in return, strengthens the Megas Agios Basileia. Your defence ministry will be contacted soon, in order to discuss costs and the other details concerned.

Secondly, the visit of the BPP Agios Ioulianos. The aircraft carrier and its attendant vessels to your nation would be no impediment to the plans of my nation. It would help to keep the peace in and around the Geltic Sea. This would be beneficial, of course, to both our nations and all the others that edge it. Similarly, in order to not alarm the Oulfhimeriki, the Arhomaiki ships will steer clear of any seas claimed by that nation. Whilst it seems that they have come to regret their earlier rash action, it would not do to provoke them in any way. Hopefully, it will also be an opportunity for our navies to become more familiar with each other.

It is hoped by the Agios Basilikon Kounsistorion that these measures will help to keep the lands edging the Geltic Sea in peace and that this peace will flourish into prosperity for all.

May God defend the Commonwealth of Nyantastan.
