The Baltican Dream
For years, the lands of the Baltican people were poor, rural and undeveloped, with the people only being united by a false sense of statehood. This, is when the Germanics arrived. No one knows from which lands these people came from, nor what their intentions were, but they would quickly come into control of most of the Baltican Peninsula. This is when they would unite these lands under what they called, The Kingdom of Baltica. This state would evolve through the centuries into a parliamentary monarchy, until its last King; King Miglas would be ousted by the parliament, which subsequently took control of the nation and declared it a Republic. This so called "Republic" was ruled entirely by the Germanic Balts, which over two centuries of rule, would emerge as the powerful upper class of Baltica. This fledgling Republic would unofficially come to an end, when a powerful military general, Jonas Sigis, would take control of the nation. He would die the same year he came into power, supposedly assassinated, and replaced with the nations current Dictator, Algridas Banis.
Although the Nation currently is as stable as it can be, its main aim in this century of technological dominance, is to emerge as a capable power, specifically by becoming a center of industry and economic growth. Although the nation currently relies heavily on its large Agricultural Sector, Algridas wishes to expand the small but extremely capable manufacturing sector. To do this, Algridas wishes to take advantage of Balticas cheap labor and strategic location to attract foreign Investment as well TNC's to develop Baltica as a whole.
Furthermore, Baltica aims to finally deal with the large social-political divide between its people. Currently, both the native Balts and the Germanic Balts are up at arms, both wishing to become the primary "rulers" of Baltica. The Balts believe that the Germanics are using them as literal slave labor, to fill their own pockets, whilst the Germanics heavily believe that the Balts are nothing more than free loaders, benefiting from their hard work. Weather Algridas will appease the Balts and grant them more autonomy and a way into power, or join his Germanic kin in seizing full control of Baltica is uncertain...
Lastly, the final aim of the Republic of Baltica is the "National Spine" plan. This plan, proposed by the Baltica parliament all the way in 1949, is a National Infrastructure project , aiming to unite the Capital city (Goja), to the rest of the nation. This project has been plagued by civil war , political instability and corruption. The Commonwealth of Sunrise Island (Sun: Civitas de Sunrise Islandia) is a Parliamentary Democracy that consists of several islands, and a special island that serves as the capital. The culture of Sunrise Island is mainly white, mixed with Pacific Islander populations to create a Sunian population. The capital city of Sunrise Island is Sunny, with notable settlements being Sunset Sea (city), Cantik (Village), and the Segreto Mountains (Landmark).
The first traces of Sunrise Island began in 62AD, when a new island was discovered by European Explorers that were helping their native rulers find and document lands and colonize them. The explorers were quick to find that the mysterious island was a resourceful place, full of flora and fauna. It was also known that the island was rich with natural resources, and they proclaimed no one was currently on the island besides them. Unfortunately, they were quick to find that a Pacific Islander Tribe was also calling the island home, and taking advantage of everything that they also discovered. Though instead of going to war, the explorers and their native rulers signed an agreement detailing both of their duties, and what they own.
According to a scroll, Fortis (the nation that the explorers were from) and the Tribe both owned the land, having the rights to live, grow, and prosper their. The resources were evening split, though the section that described this was made vague on purpose, so they can create beneficial trade deals. It also ruled that if hostilities against the region was evident, it is both of their responsibilities to protect the island from foreign forces.
Although there were little disputes between Fortis and the Tribe, disorder quickly broke out. Back in mainland Fortis, war broke out when an Empire declared on them with the intent of annexing Fortis’s land. Fortis’s military demonstrated reasonable effort, and although they had some victories, they quickly found that they were in a losing situation. 3 years later, the royals of Fortis fled to the island, and in friendship they declared the Island to be an official nation.
“Realis De Natior!” The residents of the island celebrated. They danced around day and night, with joy and a very energetic spirit. Two weeks later, they held their first election. Eventually, The Liberal Party Candidate was elected, and everything seemed well. No particularly big event happened until another nation called Waridd offered a trade deal. The inexperienced government accepted foolishly, not knowing why not. 10 years later, they discovered it was a scam, and they now owed 10% of their natural resources to a Rogue War Nation.
For hundreds of years, they struggled to pay it. Even an 10% can mean collapse, and they were on the brink of it. The Waridd Emperor demanded them to be paid in 3 more months, and threatened war if he didn’t receive the shipments. They needed an absolute miracle to even survive. And the miracle finally came after 1 painful month. The International Trade Organization, a group of welcoming mature nations, offered assistance. They had another idea - instead of helping pay the debt, they decided they will bring revenge to Waridd for their unreasonable actions.
On an early Monday Morning in 1637, the ITO (International Trade Organization)’s military started marching to Waridd. They utterly had more force than Waridd, and showed no mercy. “You taught us to have no mercy” one of the member taunted Waridd. “Yeah, your damn nation won’t survive” the heartless insults continued. The first encounter was in June, where they bombed forts in Southern Waridd. They fought hard, killing every soldier and destroying everything. They had many victories, but the most famous one was Sunrise Battle, Held in July. Lasting 3 hours from 4-7 AM respectively, this is what earned the island the name “Sunrise Island”.
The ITO soldiers woke up at 3:30. It was still dark, though they can see the sun slowly starting to dominate. They jogged to the Hell Building, the most important military improvement that Waridd had ever build. It was both a training, equipment creating, and intelligence division, and millions of future soldiers were trained here.
Ash held up a bomb. They were setting the hell building on fire. The last seconds ticked. The bomb has exploded. Flames started to sound. Waridd Soldiers and Commanders evacuated. They started a fight. This time it was way different from they had expected. The Waridd military was close to victory, and they struggled to keep on. It seemed like their best plan was about to be destroyed, and their efforts wasted. The only thing that encouraged them to go forward was the beautiful sunrise - it inspired them as they thought how the sun represents their efforts. They started to strengthen. “At least we have one more HARD try before we’re in heaven” the commanders shouted.
That was the toughest they have ever been. They tried, proving they are not worn out by a stupid enemy. Even the enemy generals looked that had years of experience in wars looked surprised, none of their war opponents were that good. It was 7AM. Waridd surrendered, and the ITO Military cheered.
After a few hours, the island was named Sunrise Island in honor of this battle. They were proud of their brave efforts, and most soldiers were awarded medals. It seemed like a real celebration, out of the fake ones. “Honorable Efforts” - Anonymous War Commander
Now back into the future. Though Sunrise Island has experienced great pride, there is always room to improve and expand. One of the important agenda’s of the government is to maintain and promote it’s Pacifist and De-Weaponization policies. We in Sunrise Island believe war is never good, and most of the offenders that initiate a war are rogues that do not deserve to be celebrated or mentioned. You're a nation because your people agreed it was a nation, life is a game of diplomacy. Whatever is it encouraging an ally nation to seek peaceful agreements, or remaining a fellow state to not use nuclear weapons, we will always be peaceful.
Another good improvement would be improving balancing development. While some nations claim it’s the best thing you can have, it has some drawbacks. In Sunrise Island, the government protects important marks of nature and expanding the infrastructure there might disrupt nature. We will seek to develop underdeveloped areas, while leaving other areas for nature to decide on the future.
Speaking of nature, we need to stop pollution and climate change. Our goal is a 100% Pollution Free Sunrise Island, with no emissions emitted. We’re currently passing environmental/pollution laws, and promote use of innovation to develop new solutions for such global problems.

The Origin Myth of the Neswetej-Per-Aten
On September sixth, 130 AD (by western reckoning), A group of Ketek religious pilgrims left their homeland to find a prophesized 'House of Aten' or 'Per-Aten'. On January second 131AD (again by western reckoning) the Ketek pilgrims founded a settlement near the delta of the H'pi river which these pilgrims named Akhetaten or 'The Horizon of Aten', in their language. Based on a combination of their prior customs, and the revelations of their leader who at this time assumed the title and regal name Neswet-Bejtew Akhenaten Sa-Aten, then began to structure their new society. At this time the Ma'at, or the Order was established, creating the modern Caste system with the Neswet-Bejtew as the leader, with his Djat, and Hem-Natjer-Tepi forming the trimvurial Heads of Government/State/Judicary. the next layer of organization is the Per-A or Great House, which at this time was made up of the Per-Nesu, and Per-Aten (House of Royals, and House of Aten), next was the Seshej Ma'at, or the Scribes of Order, who at this time formed the bureaucratic structure of their burgeoning kingdom. The next highest caste is the Mesha (soldier) caste fallowed by the Hemew (servant/worker) caste. The final caste was is composed of the unbelievers, foreign and domestic. who are merely identified by their ethnic name.
The Current State Apparatus of the Neswetej-Per-Aten
The Kingdom of Aten is ruled by King Akhenaten XXVII Sa-Aten, and his Djat: Wehemmesu. The current head of the Hem-Natjer-Tepi-Aten is Imenemhat who leads the high-priesthood of Aten in it's role as the judiciary. At this time the Per'A has become a pseudo-parliament formed of the delegations from Per-Nesu, Per-Sesh, Per-Mesha, and Per-Hemew. The four castes each have an internal power structure within their own houses, and forming asymmetric federalism with sub-national divisions based on castes rater than geographic location. In the modern era the Seshej Ma'at is most citizens only interaction with their national and sub-national governments, each of the four citizen castes having their own dedicated Sesh Department. The most unique being the Seshej Sesh, which form the overarching diplomatic, and business apparatus, and is divided among the Seshej Remet, or the Domestic economic bueroratic structure, and the other Seshej Amew/Fenkhu/Nehesej/Nebwet/Temeh, each representing the foreign diplomacy and business relationships with a different ethnic group of faithless peoples. It is worth noting that while most faithful are expected to have some ability to read, each Caste is only allowed to write in certain scripts, Heiroglyphic for the Nesu caste, and higher ranking Sesh caste members, Hieratic for the higher rank Mesha caste and lower ranking Sesh caste members, and finally Demotic for the lower ranking Mesha, and Hemew overseers. The majority Hemew and Faithless are not permitted to use Heiroglyph derived scripts, and use a so-called "Ateno-Iverican" script, which is a domestic variant of the more globally common Europan script. The Mesha caste has been divided into two distinct sub-castes, the Mesha (Army) and Nefu (Navy) which, after periods of stiff resistance have started to modernize once more. (A more detailed description of the Military structure and history of tradationalisim will follow soon in a separate article). The rest of the Faithful are known as Hemew, or "those who work", and the faithless do not receive a title and are thus only identified by their ethnic name. However, some non-Ketek Faithful have higher Caste positions in which case their Origin is noted in addition to their caste, as an example an Iverican Sesh caste member, would be a Fenkhu-Sesh. A still smaller, but ever growing number of Faithless foreigners have been given limited higher caste rights, in which case the are identified by adding the negative suffix of -ef to their Ethnic identifier, for example if that Iverican Scribe was Faithless, they would be Kenkhewef-Sesh. A selection of Ethinic identifiers follow, in order of legal precedent: Remet (Non-Atenist Ketek), Fenkhu (Iveric), Amew (Altarian, Colesian, or Wutic), Nebwet (Vostauc), Nehesej (Mesothalasan, Nari, or, Chenxas), and Temeh (Semitic, or Sayfi).
