The Utrikesdirektoratet av Fina (Anglish: Directorate of Foreign Affairs of Fina), is the main external affairs and diplomatic vessel for the Finan government, headed by Director Simona Sundberg. The Utrikesdirektoratet manages foreign communications (letters, telephone, etc.) and diplomatic missions abroad. It was formed in 1989 as the Republic of Fina’s second directorate office, following the Statens Försvarsdirektoratet (Directorate of State Defense), and succeeding the Kommunala Utrikesdirektoratet, the foreign affairs department under the communist Commune government (1924-1989).

MISSION

The aim of the Utrikesdirektoratet is to achieve the following in its external efforts, among others:

1. To project Finan culture and influence wurldwide and help grow the presence of our nation on the wurld stage;
2. To acknowledge Finan sovereignty, including over the disputed Östranka region, and protect its nation and citizens through diplomatic friendships and backings;
3. To achieve peaceful resolution to conflict and resolve external disputes; and
4. To promote regional cooperation and strengthen bonds between our nations in hopes of achieving peace in this land.

Your Excellency,

This is the first time that my nation, the Greater Holy Empire of Arome, more commonly known as Tagmatium, has contacted your nation in a formal capacity. This is a state of affairs that should not have gone on as long as it has. It may have been that there has been little need for our nations to contact each other – although the last few years have seen Argis come to the fore of wurld affairs, this has often been southern and central Argis. The often chaotic state of those nations has drawn the eyes of the wurld to them, whether through repeated revolutions as one nation goes through governments at a rate not seen by others, or the nations on a large island to the south of your continent falling into anarchy and allowing the rise of a doomsday cult that a coalition of willing nations had to stop.

But this is ultimately a poor excuse for the state of relations between our nations, or rather the lack of them. It is saddening to think of what could have been learnt from each other during this time, something that may well know be lost to us.

Due to this, I would like to request that you put before your government the offer of the Holy Imperial Government to exchange embassies between our two nations. This would mark the start of our nations' formal diplomatic relations and it is also hoped that this will mark the start of a friendship between our nations, as well as our peoples. Although our nations are quite different, this need not be any sort of block to our relations flourishing in time. The Greater Holy Empire maintains friendly relations with most Argic nations, even if they are not always close relations. Argis is a vast continent with an equally vast spread of cultures and nations across it.

I pray that this is the start of a mutually-beneficial relationship.

Due to an upcoming operation in Baltica the Kingdom of Ateenia seeks permission to dock Ateenian military vessels in Fina's ports, where the Varnar's equipment and troops would disembark and then drive to Baltica. We also wish to ask for permission for Ateenian military aircraft to be permitted to cross Fina's airspace, on their path to Baltica.

The Ateenian military will be accompanied by Haru military, we ask that the Finan government would provide them the same access as to Ateenia.

We hope your government will review our request and grant us the access we request, so that our 2 great nations may continue existing in peace and friendship.
