Rhavanese Troops Deployed on Northern Border

Recently in Kidney Islands, the local authoritarian government has been having talks with Anglian officials. Rhava in early 2021 condemned the government of the islands calling them, "oppressive", "authoritarian dictators", and "not going with what the nations of Alharu should represent”. Last night the Rhavanese government deployed troops to the northern maritime border of the country, bordering with Shendao (kidney islands). Many citizens of the country were alarmed of the implications of war. Rhavanese officials then released a statement: "Rhava recognizes the actions Anglia has taken in Western Europa, and acknowledges the growing threat now on our doorstep. Rhava will not allow itself to be pushed around like the weakened western states." The citizens of Rhava in northern coastal cities like Haijiu are now evacuating the cities to the capital, Rhavapura and even the southern provinces, due to the fear of a conflict including the region. Rhavanese officials also mentioned in a later statement that they still stand by their denouncement of Anglian actions in Western Europa, and will stand up to aggressors as the nation always has. Now Rhavanese and Fulgistani officials have set a meeting time, so that they can discuss the Anglian influence in the Kidney Islands.

That was all for RNN, until next time, I'm Tang Chen.

Peaceful Protest Turned Violent

This weekend the Tonmai Rhavan-Rhavanese Union hosted a march from the outlying towns to of Chow Chó to the state house in downtown. The protest was reasonably civil with little to no damages to buildings and the protestor's surroundings. When the Tonmai protestors reached the state house they hunkered down and started protesting equal wages and chances for education for the ethnic peoples in the Thaboul province, north-western Rhava. The rights of the Tonmai Rhavan are reasonably fair in cities like Rhavapura and Manaw, but in the south the peoples are known for disliking the northern ethnic groups that are not pure Rhavanese. So it was no surprise when a group of drunk and armed southern men shot into the crowd.

We turned down Trung street, and we had just been peacefully walking down the streets, when all of a sudden I hear screams. I nearly got trampled to death, it was so frightening.

That was Kelly Bayu, who is a local politician in the Chó Đúng state senate and a pro Tonmai Rhavan rights activist. She was walked with citizens from the small town of Cha to the inner city of Chow Chó. When she and her group arrived at the state house a one of the men shot into the air.

When the protestors did not leave they briddled with annoyance. And then they shot into the crowds multiple times, and there were screams and cries and then the protestors charged the group of men, and it became a full on brawl.

Multiple times in the past few days since them there have been similar shootings in protests across the south. Northern senators have released statements saying that the actions of the south are disgusting and not what Rhava represents. The government later authorized 18:00 curfews in the provinces of Chó Đúng, Nghe Ơi, and Sambal Bokur. As the journey towards a more equal country continues, RNN will document it the entire time.

Deadly Hurricane Passes Through Rhava

This week the Hurricane named Nayasarri passed through Rhava after floating in from the Whanganui Sea. Hurricane Nayasarri was the 5th hurricane this month, destroying over 15,000 homes and killing over 1000 people. This most recent hurricane has boosted the talks of protestors on better climate awareness in the region, with protests nation wide causing an uproar in congress. On June 28th Senate Majority leader called a emergency meeting to talk about climate and various other issues. However it seemed not much came upon this meeting, with only Anglia and the hurricanes. However, one good thing proposed by our gracious president was an infrastructure bill, setting up stronger highways like the seaway 66 along the Rhavanese coastline, razing it above sea level and setting up seawalls. Also in the coming years Rhava's coastline will transform to have a common sight be windmills off the coast. The Rhavanese government also at this meeting announced its plans to join international treaties like LAANN and EOS, after the recent influence in the islands of Shendao. Rhava also has agreed to send humanitarian aid to the small state of Mandura off the coast of Rhava. Considering the acts in Shendao Rhava is glad to see that Anglia has stayed to their own, and not interfering with Rhava. Troops are now returning home for now after and escalation that had the Rhavanese citizens on the edges of their seats. It seems for now that Anglia has no reason in influencing with Rhava.

RUA or Jaang Cho Syndicate rising

Across Rhava it seems a movement has begun gaining more popularity, though it is not known what their final intentions are. Following a series of attacks on Rhavanese railroads crossing the country to the south, with military units to combat the recent acts of violence against the ethnic group from the Thaboul province. According to sources the government has found, the group seems to be a foreign group of terrorists bent on interfering with Rhavanese affairs and endings Rhavanese sovereignty. The government decided at the climate meeting to expand the curfews from not only southern provinces but to the whole of the entire nation starting June 30th.

R-pop group ToxicPanda makes history

This weeks special segment if about the growing national trend of a music called Rhavanese pop, or R-pop. Though in the past decade R-pop has been growing in the country, R-pop in the past years has grown to surrounding countries like Mandura. ToxicPanda, and band of 5 people made history by winning this year's Rhava's cultural music competition in Manaw, Sambal Bokur. ToxicPanda is the first multicultural group, with one of the group members being from Yeosan, and one of them being half Europan. The other three have unknown heritage though its thought they're are from East Alharu. Though they were from different nations they wowed the Rhavanese country by not only having rad beats but by using Rhavanese cultural instruments like the Gamelan and the Trống Cơm. They showed a knowledge of Rhavanese culture that most "outsiders" do not have, and won over Rhava's heart. They are now set to play for the president in Rhavapura.

The President was immediately rushed to the emergency room. The president at 13:00 released a statement saying:

(I have faith, that Rhava will prevail. Thank you for the opportunity, to serve my country.)

At 18:00 the president passed away. As the party decides its next candidate, Chancellor Dại has stepped in as acting leader. Rhava has now entered a 7 day mourning process.

More Disasters strike Rhava ending all feelings of Normality

As we enter the third day of mourning for our president, Hurricane Ongan ravages the middle regions becoming the 6th Hurricane in the past two months. This hurricane struck the 'rice basket' of Rhava, leaving millions without food, after destroying a years worth of crops that feeds over 25% of the country. The acting president is now requesting aid from larger countries, for humanitarian help for the suffering people of our country. While the south and middle regions suffer the storm, the north bears witness what comes after, while paying for Rhava's lack of infrastructure.

Tan Tan tunnel collapses

In a deadly attack between a local militia and authorities, the TTT collapsed, leaving the city of Chow Chó isolated from the rest of the country, with the only roadway into the city destroyed. 104 people are confirmed dead, while 857 are wounded. The city has now gone into lockdown incase more militias show themselves and harm the civilians, specifically Tonmai and Thale ethnic groups.

Famous Beach Obliterated

North Beach in the Kings Corner region, in northeastern Rhava was completely obliterated after highwinds completely destroyed the sand dunes. Repairs have already started, and the beach should be fully repaired in a couple months. No one was harmed.

7 day mourning period comes to end

After the death of our late president, the country has been in a mourning period. With most shops closed and people forced to stay in their homes. Now the mourning comes to an end with people taking to the streets to honor our glorious leader, and lighting lanterns and incense in honor. Though not all were grateful towards our previous leader. In the cities of Al-cedaan and Manaw, posters of President Minh were vandalized, with effigies being burned. And in Mandura city, they celebrated. This mockery of our grand nation is unacceptable, and I am filled with pride that our viewerbase does not stoop this low. also week no storms hit Rhava, causing significant progress on Seaway 66, with the road full getting paved from Al-Cedaan to Kings Corner. Though scientists predict this is not the last of the storms.

Help comes to Central Rhava in the Onset of Demise

During the past few months Rhava has been hit by major storms, stronger than anything seen before. After hurricane Ongan last week the Rhavanese government issued a request for help. Then, in Rhava's hour of need the Central Committee authorized 3,000 reserve military personnel, and 4,000 civilian medical personnel to the middle regions in an effort to humanitarian aid to the population of the area affected by Hurricane Ongan. Foreign Minister, Madame Po Nagar released a statement today saying;

"Thank you Fulgistani Government, for aid [to Rhava]"

Across the country these brave people were welcomed with cheers, cries, and tears. And especially hope for a brighter future. It seems the Rhavanese and Fulgistani meeting on Anglia may also come closer then it may appear, because Rhavanese officials reached out to Fulgistani officials to discuss a meeting date. On other news, Hurricane Padang touches down near Dài Gòn, completely obliterating the promenade and coating the city in 3 feet of rain.

~ BREAKING NEWS ~

In another act of Thale Rhavan hate crimes, a bomb blew up in downtown Poya killing over 200 people, and leaving hundreds without limbs. This weekend, was the annual Sambal Bokur marathon, where people run 47 miles from Manaw to Poya to raise awareness towards Thale hate. In the final stretches of the run, a bomb blew up hidden in a speaker, sending a shockwave out, that was heard for miles.

"Me and my husband, and my two kids were at a park 7.5 miles away from the city, and we were like, what was that. We found out later, and were absolutely shocked." - anonymous

"It was incredibly scary, my mother worked in the proximity of the bomb, and she would not pick up the phone when we called. Thankfully she was alright, though a little spooked."

There has been no announcement from HoS Rỗ Meng and Acting President Dại Sy, and there probably wont be. Madame Secretary Po Nagar on a diplomatic mission to Buokagio, left the meeting room supposedly and got on a direct flight back to Manaw. She released a statement today, saying that hate was totally unacceptable in our country, and that she grieves for all the families who lost family members on that fateful day.

Mid Summer Festival Swings into Motion

Today the Mid Summer Festival swung into motion, with celebrations sweeping the nation. Millions of Rhavanese people swept the transportation system, with the train system having to close down because of too many people. The “motorcycle migration” also took place, as large amounts of people used this cheap way of travel to get to families. The first day of the festival entailed many beach parties, with the 20th showing gratefulness to the ocean and marine animals. Ambassadors across the wurld returned home, and most political people traveled to Hai Bọt Biển, as this city is the center place of the first days festivals. Head of State Meng was seen participating in the famous water fight that takes place through most streets of the city. We will update you as the festival continues.

In the city of Gong Fa, Yume province, the fire works festival has begun, with then city in constant light. The second two days of the festival, are about partying all out through day and night. It is common for many young folk, to take the trains into major cities from all over the country to party all day. No province celebrates the traditions more, then Yume. In the city Haseong, the city is known for being especially cold, and nothing is more cold then the ice touch contest. Where thousands of people compete to see who can touch a block of cold fresh ice the longest. The 21st is also an ode to bisexuals, on this day many pride parades take place as well. Final Day of the Celebration

Yesterday, the signature Banh Cám made an appearance nationwide, with these delicate greasy balls filled with cold bean paste selling out in all places, on the day celebrating not only the Rhavanese history and culture, but also a celebration of Huang culture and the Nian dynasty. Today, the final day of the Mid-Summer festival ended, with many families taking the tradition of eating Xanh soup, or soup of green broth. It is said that this soup, grants people the energy of the Eurth and nature, and can extend life. It is also common, for it to be a couples soup, with many couples seen in shops all over the nation enjoying broths of soup. The mid-summer festival in short, is a tradition centuries old, that holds meaning towards all Rhavanese regardless of ethnicity. The festival symbolizes welcomeness, and the feeling of inclusion. All should feel happy, letting your lanterns fly in the wind, or sipping the spicy broth flavored with scallions and peppers.

summer is something to be cherished, but most of all to be shared with a friend

Resistance on Dien and Sueng island have been put down by National Army

Today the battle over 2 islands off the coast of Rhava held by the TTMR (Tonmai Thale Mandurae Resistance) came to the end, with victory in the hands of the government. It is common knowledge to the the Rhavanese people, that the fight is futile. The resistance has a lack of resources and gunpowder, and cannot stand a chance against our glorious nation. Through this strategical victory, the federal reserves have pushed back the CPMR and RUA to Yanseng island, Goran island, and smaller islands off of Kings Corner. Nations surrounding have kept quiet to the repeated calls to surrounding countries as they should, rather than risking defeat at the hands of the glorious Rhavanese republic.

In other news, the seaway 66 has almost reached 50% construction, with the roadway reaching Manaw from the northwestern city of Al-Rasif. Scientists say that the roadway will be done by early November. Southern Rhavanese protests have been seen, protesting the northern aggression towards the resistances and militias. At the height of the protest was province representative, who today was removed from the national assembly. Thank you for tuning in to RNN.

~ BREAKING NEWS ~

Just now Goran island, was completely obliterated by a bomb dropped by the resistance. Thousands are recorded dead, as much of life on the island have perished. Tidal waves strike the coastline of mainland Rhava, destroying much of coastal Cạm Mê province. Hundreds lay dead on the eastern seaboard, while the coastal guard is investigating the remains of the island, the government has released a statement; "It saddens our hearts that the resistance would take such a gruesome stance against the people of Rhava. Among the conspirators, were people such as Chantrea Ponagar, who lies in hell after the karma she has faced in her own death on Goran island. The Acting President as well as many politicians have been rushed off to safe houses as to protect the people's voices. The council of 6 will take lead of action, against the resistance. As of now, we are in control."

You heard it here first folks, the Rhavanese council of 6 will control much of all Rhavanese operations. Essentially. A coup de ta has taken place in the Rhavane-

Adjusting to the Travesty

As more reports come in about the Goran incident, we will be here to tell you all about it. So far 15,000 have been found dead on the island, as sigils across the country are hosted in honor of those dead. The tidals waves hitting coastal Rhava have died down, with only a couple hundred perishing. A small sum comparatively, yet a brutal blow to Rhavanese morality. Ash and soot from the explosion has drifted as far as Manaw, with the haze blackening most of costal Rhava's sky. But while most citizens honor the souls who passed, many have taken to the streets questioning our governments responsibility in this. A curfew has been passed on most cities, and all thought to be aligned with the resistance can be reported and jailed. Some people have even gone as far as to say the bomb was caused by our glorious country.

In other news, the Rhavanese fleet has no returned from a voyage into the Coral Sea, east of the Rhavanese mainland. Perhaps this was a resistance strike on the already weakened Rhava, or perhaps it was something else lurking in our waters.

Foreign States Criticize Rhava's handling of the Goran Crisis

Alharun countries criticize Rhavanese handling of the crisis, saying removing government personnel is no a protection of the people's rights, but the beginning of their decent into the depths of totalitarianism. Earlier this week the resistance dropped a bomb similar to Ceris on the island of Goran, later on the history of the island. Foreign governments say that this was likely not an attack by the resistance, but a power grab by the head council member Pen Ping. Governments have even called the Goran crisis, a coup. More coming, on RNN, the national news network of Rhava.

History of Goran island

Goran island (Gorang), is an island state about 175 km off the coast of northern Rhava. As one of 11 main islands off the coast of Rhava, Goran is one if the most urbanized, with 56% of the island being industrialized. First settled by the Khmeng people, it was a disputed island between Khmeng and Thong groups. During the Pham dynasty, Goran came under the control of Rhava, along with Yanseng, the neighboring island. For the next couple centuries it remained under the control of Rhava, until the colonization in 1525. After Nayasarris revolt the last dynasties, and the eventual Naga Kingdom made no action to retake it, letting it and many other islands govern themselves. During most of the Alharun war, it was operated as a military base. After the Sermerio Accords were signed, the 6th parallel divided north and south Rhava. After the Rhavanese war, the new government pledged to bring Rhava to it's former glory and began a campaign to take over the island territories. Under the government it suffered, until the opening of the market in 2007.

Rhavanese Navy Returns with Dire News

It seems that the Rhavanese Navy has returned from sea with the resistance perpetrators from the Gorang crisis. The admiral is seen arriving at Al'Rasif with Chantrea Thi Ponagar, previous foreign minister the madame secretary had reportedly turned herself in to save the remaining Gorang people from Anglians. A likely story. However, there has been reports of increased Anglian influence in the Rhavanese area. As we enter our sixthteenth day of a new government under Chairman Pen Ping, this does not look good for his approval ratings and all in support. This just shows the complete mockery that has been this past mont-

Rhavanese Animated R-Drama makes headlines

The long running 'trời giấu trời mang đi' anime ended last year in its 11 season making it the longest running Rhavanese anime to date. This left fans asking the question, will it continue? Early April it was announced on the 26th, the anniversary date of the first episode a streaming service by the name of 'Cameo' would be buying the show, and rebooting it with a whole new cast and story. Releasing last week in only Rhavanese, it not only got immediate attention in Rhava, but also in foreign countries such as Rhodellia, a country in Aurelia for all our viewers who do not know. 'Cameo' has announced that the animated r-drama will be released internationally in Huang, Dolch, and Anglish later this month along with other announcements for their streaming service including a live action 'trời giấu trời mang đi' because of the increased popularity. Happy Lin-Chi Day!

Rejoice citizens of Rhava, we have made it seventeen days into this new regime. Today is Lin-Chi day, as the Vĩnh Cửu acts come into full effect across the entire country, I already feel all the safer. Lin-Chi day is a celebration of Rhavanese pride, regardless of your skin colour. This day celebrates the independence from Huang imperialism and the Yellow Empire, and the forging of our own path. And it seems Rhava recognizes this, as across the country rioting has ended for the time being. Across all provinces Rhavanese peoples celebrated the tradition of eating Long Life noodles, to preserve and increase life expectancy. Lin-Chi was known as a powerful woman, and a hero for many across the country symbolizing Rhavanese pride in heritage and strength in driving out aggressors out of our homeland. Happy Lin-Chi day everyone!
