The Fravi Department of Foreign Affairs is the official channel of diplomacy for the Republic of Fravina. The department's duty is to establish and maintain international relations and to release statements regarding Fravina's stance on foreign issues. Through the Department of Foreign Affairs, other nations may also establish and/or maintain official relations with the government of Fravina.

 

Fravina is open to establishing diplomatic missions, at home or around the wurld. We are asking governments to please contact us about this.

In the interests of increasing cooperation and improving the relations between our two great nations, I have been tasked by his Aroman Majesty, Kommodos III, by the Grace of Christ the God, Holy Emperor, Autocrat and Equal-to-the-Apostles of the Aromans, to request that our nations undertake an exchange of embassies.

On the face of it, our nations are quite different. My country, Arhomaneia, is a nation that holds spirituality close to its heart and is driven by the teachings of Christ, as well as being what many describe as a monarch. Fravina, on the other hand, is a socialist republic. Some may regard these differences as inimical to any close relations between our nations but this is not the case. Differences like these mean that our nations, if they were to work together, could provide views or thoughts that the other may well not have even considered in the first place.

As well as this, closer cooperation and relations between the nations of Eurth would foster not just trade but peace as well. Arhomaneia has been working with several of your nation's neighbours over the last few years, namely the Republic of @Delamaria and the Kingdom of @Seylos, to help tackle the crisis in the Dolch Sea and Ceris. But it also goes further than this – Delamaria and Arhomaneia have undertaken a trade agreement and Seylos is one of my nation's closest partners in Argis. Ideally, the exchange of embassies would put our nations on a similar path of peace and prosperity.

It deeply saddens my administration, and the people of Seylos to hear of the passing of Vice President Jean Martin. His politics within your own country, and abroad have been notable for fighting for a better world for the people around him. On such short notice with the instability of the world around us, I will not be able to attend his funeral, I have been assured by our honorable ambassador to Fravina that her and her family will be in attendance to show their respects to the Vice President and his family. Princess Margaret has also asked me to extend her personal condolences, and has kept in close contact with Paul-Henri throughout this ordeal.

I wish to extend to you and your nation the heartfelt condolences of the Arhomaiki people over the death of Vice-President Jean Martin.

It is always a shock when someone dies in such tragic circumstances. Especially when that person has had such an impact on public life and guided the direction of a country for so long. Whilst Arhomaneia has had little interaction with your Republic, my nation has always been able to recognise a great statesman, no matter the country that they have come from.

And Vice-President Martin was certainly a great statesman, guiding your nation through many trying times and acting as a voice of moderation and sense throughout his time in power. When such a person passes, there is often the empty platitude that we would not witness their like again, but I think that this is certainly the case with Jean Martin. I pray that your nation will have someone as capable and honourable step into his shoes in the future.

I can give you the assurances that prayers will be said for the surviving members of the Martin family in the Basilica of Christ Pantokrator in Europatorion for their swift recovery.

May God see to it that the legacy of Vice-President Martin lives on.

Statement in regards to the aggression of Great Anglia, and subsequent measures

The Republic of Fravina is shocked and appalled at the continued aggression displayed by the Kingdom of Great Anglia. Recent events have shown that the kingdom is unwilling to make peace, and that His Majesty's government is brutal and unremorseful. It is the position of this republic that these acts are unacceptable and despicable. 

It is with heavy heart that we, the people of Fravina, choose to expel all Great Anglian diplomats from our lands. Fravi diplomats to Great Anglia will be recalled. The Great Anglian embassy in Port de Sang and the Fravi embassy in Godstone will be closed indefinitely until the current crisis is resolved. Under the Secure Future Act of 1978, all Great Anglians in Fravina who are believed to be intelligence officers will be held in questioning by the Department of Documentation, and they may be subject to prosecution. An embargo of all goods to and from the Kingdom of Great Anglia will be enacted on 12 February 2022. It is the advice of this government that all Fravi citizens residing in Great Anglia leave the country immediately for fear of their safety from Great Anglian officials.

The acts of aggression displayed by the Anglian state are deplorable. The people of Fravina stand with their friends and allies against these imperialist actions, and we wish to see a peaceful end to this current conflict. The wurld must stand strong as one to resist the Great Anglian menace.
