History: A former colony of Fleur de Lys, Fravina became independent in 1765. Two civil wars in the early 1900s lead to a socialist revolution that began the Second Republic of Fravina.

• Climate. The climate of RL New England is mostly Dfb with some Cfa along the coasts. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Climate_of_New_England In our world, this corresponds with  similar blue areas located towards the poles.
• Culture + History. There are some !French speaking countries and/or Lysian colonies around. In East-Argis there's @Astriedan. And down in Aurelia you have @Acadia and @Shffahkia.

Some matching locations would be:

• The tip of East-Argis near Astriedan has the right climate, culture and perhaps also history. I say "perhaps" because we're unsure about the actual colonial history of this location.
• South-Aurelia  with the other !French-related countries. You'd find a matching climate and river either to the east of @Kirvina, or south of @Anatea.

I certainly have a significant French population in the north of my country, and I think I’ve made references to a Colony further north in the past, climate wise it’s fairly similar and seen as you have a French culture it would make sense.

Aha well there you have it. Two choices for a location that fits all your requirements. Thank you @Delamaria for helping with this placement.

For my part, what we've discussed over in Aurelia is that the greatest extent of the Lysians probably shouldn't go that far south or it messes with the continuum a little bit. North of Anatea (somewhere in the space between Anatea, Shffahkia, and Acadia) would probably be ideal. For my part, I'm good with anything east of the big river demarcating the eastern border of my country. Honestly, could add a big a river in the empty space, which is currently flat featureless plains, rather than drop Fravina directly adjacent to me.

It would probably make Fravina have something to do with the Eustacian Wars, our TL's *Napoleonic Wars. Something we can talk about. All of this of course if Aurelia is chosen.

Thanks y'all for all the help. I'm struggling with size and scale but this is roughly what I want my borders to look like.

Just north of @Delamaria seems fitting for Fravina.
