The Kingdom of Seylos is dismayed to hear about the government of San Castellino's treatments of the LGBTQ community within your borders. It is the opinion of the Kingdom of Seylos that such a path can only lead to more oppression and misery amongst your population. We vehemently oppose such nonsensical measures as sending "homosexuals" to reeducation camps and denounce calling such relationships evil. The Kingdom of Seylos is extremely worried on the path the dictatorship of San Castellino has decided to take the country, a path of despotism and oppression. The President of your "Republic" has shown himself to be a unpredictable human being, inflicting his will upon others and causing harm to hundreds if not thousands of individuals. For years have seen the continent of Argis slipping into a darker path and we would be remiss to ignore signs of such issues occurring around the world, especially in the recently turbulent southern Alharu. The Kingdom is aware of the ongoing dispute between yourself and Galahinda, and in light of recent events have decided to take a neutral stance on the issue, and that the following decision in no way reflects the ongoing negotiations between your respective nations.

As a result, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs sees fit to inform your government of sanctions that will begin immediately:

-All bank accounts and assets owned by San Castellino members of government will be frozen immediately.

-Tariffs on all shipping considered non-essential to the welfare of the average person of San Casellino will be doubled immediately.

-Travel will be restricted for all citizens of San Castellino traveling to Seylos, Eire, Llalta, or Kaseka. Exemptions will be made for those visiting family or function in official government duties.

We ask that the government of San Castellino come to the table and begin immediate negotiations for a reversal in its disastrous policies so such drastic measures can be avoided in the future... Or escalated.

The Republic of San Castellino cordially invites the Kingdom of Seylos to concern itself with its own problems and not with the internal politics of foreign countries. Although the Kingdom of Seylos tries to impose its will by many ways, the Republic of San Castellino will not cede in any way. Did we express our disagreement when a homosexual king acceded to the crown of Seylos? In no way, because the Republic of San Castellino understands the importance and value of the independence of states to decide their own fate.

The National-Capitalist Pact thought long and hard before making this decision in order to guarantee a better future for San Castellino. In fact, the party has only interpreted as best it can the Tacolic Church, which refuses to marry so-called "homosexual" couples itself. The party only wishes to help its citizens who have slightly deviated from the path that the Holy Lord has traced out for them. Following the unfounded accusations of the Kingdom of Seylos about the so-called "dictatorship" in San Castellino, we would like to clarify that the Republic of San Castellino is a nation-state that is totally republican, democratic, united, free and free of corruption.

Finally, we would like to end with this famous quote from our glorious President of the Republic: "The Republic of San Castellino is an example of democracy where justice and human rights take on their true meaning".

To: His Excellency, Geoffrey Tatum, Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of @Seylos, Eire, Pleinmont, and Sark

From: the Agios Basilikon Kounsistorion of the Megas Agios Basileia ton Arhomaion

Your Excellency,

The Agios Basilikon Kounsistorion wishes to congratulate the government of the Regaseia tou Seilosiou with the handling of the crisis in Korinion, Corinium. Whilst it does seem that this was the least worst outcome for the situation, open conflict with the Exousiokrateia ton Gharon has been avoided, which is something that would undoubtedly have sparked off a wider conflict across the wurld. It pleases God that this was avoided, although the cost does seem to have been high even though peace was secured. A people and an island are now divided and it must be prayed for that this does not become a permanent division.

The state and people of Arhomaneia recognise that your nation acted with the best interests of the people of Korinion at heart and it is not the Seilosioi who now appear to be militarising the island to take advantage of its strategic location. It may, indeed, be for the best that the island was divided between two powers – it may not bear thinking of had the Gharoi succeeded in taking control of it in its entirety. The Agios Basilikon Kounsistorion believes that the result of that can be seen in what is taking place in Koussoeia, something that your government is no doubt keenly aware of.

Therefore, Arhomaneia recognises the role of Seiloseia as the protector of southern Korinion. In time, it is to be hoped that the role is not needed and that the island will see unity in the future, under a free and democratic government that holds the best interests of its citizens at heart. If that might mean that the Regaseia tou Seilosiou is to guide them to that future, then it appears to the Agios Basilikon Kounsistorion that this might well be the best outcome for the people of Korinion. Certainly, the ideals that the government of Seiloseia stand for are much more palatable than those of the regime that now holds sway in the north of the island.

The people of that island remain within the prayers of the Arhomaioi.

To: His Majesty, King Aidan I of the Kingdom of @Seylos, Eire, Pleinmont, and Sark

From: the Agios Basilikon Kounsistorion of the Megas Agios Basileia ton Arhomaion

Your majesty,

It is imagined by the Agios Basilikon Kounsistorion that your majesty and your government have been watching the developments in Europa with some interest. However, equally, it is imagined that the start of the North Adlantic Union and the Eastern Argis Trade Zone will have diverted your attention somewhat. Suffice to say, the conquest of the Sosialdemokratikí Synomospondeia came as a shock and the seeming capitulation of Souberina, considering their relative military strength, was equally surprising. The actions of the Qubdi government complicated matters further and it seems that a full attack by the two new allies is in the offing.

Nonetheless, there has been a development beyond the apparent continued advance of Anglian interests and schemes in the area. His majesty, King Creighton, has contacted his Aroman Majesty with a message suggesting closer cooperation between our two nations. Perhaps more concerning for your majesty, King Creighton refers disparagingly to your nation. Whilst it of course may be nothing, it was felt by his Aroman Majesty that you, the leader of one of Arhomaneia's closest allies, needed to be made aware of this.

A copy of that message has been attached to this one. It has been judged by my nation's intelligence services that it is genuine.

Whilst, on the face of it, there seems little to concern Seylos, other than this dismissive reference to your nation, I would suggest that his majesty, King Creighton, may have designs beyond Europa. This may be especially apparent due to the recent communication put out by Great Anglia's Minister of Empire.

May God see to it that peace returns to our Eurth,

FROM: Aidan Redmond, King of Seylos, Eire, Pleinmont, and Sark

I will apologize Emperor for my lack of decorum in the following message, these times are trying and I have little time to try and make myself sound more grand than I truly am.

Thank you Goulielmos, while our various intelligence services were concerned over possible Anglian desires towards Argis it only confirms this. We've spent a long time dealing with our... parent nation. Their interest in Seylos waxes and wanes throughout the years. It appears we are in a period of increased interest in our fair nation. Records from our diplomatic relations, which my ever vigilant Minister of Foreign Affairs has had me study in great detail, have shown that they have become obsessed with the concept of Anglianism, essentially parsing groups of people between possible Anglian inspired heritage and... others. For instance in 1962, King Fitzroy received an almost random request to begin the integration of Seylosians with the Anglian peoples. It's as if they had forgotten our forbears were to be slaughtered should they not flee from Anglia when they did.

Suffice to say Anglia has become a threat far greater than all of us had ever imagined. I wish I could say Seylos could be ready to stop them. Though the war in Ceris is nearing its conclusion, we simply don't have the resources to dedicate significant enough numbers to defend the Tagmatine homeland if it came to it. Yet. Of course we are not ignorant towards a build up of Haruspexian military assets on your own border and are deeply concerned. I'll admit, I'm afraid the Haru have seen the Anglian example and have decided to follow their ways. Know that our military presence in Corinium will be bolstered to show as much force as we can muster.

At this critical moment in history, I think that Seylos and Tagmatium should enter into a defensive pact. It's clear we both have the ever growing giant of Anglia to worry about together, as well as the continued aggressions of Harupsex. Tagmatium has been an important ally for years now and I'm fairly certain it's clear we need each other more than ever.

Again, thank you Goulielmos, you've helped the Seylosian people immensely. And one last favor-

Please ask your newspapers to stop calling me a deviant so much, it kind of sucks.

We are of course delighted to expand out diplomatic relations with the Republic of Fravina. Eastern Argic relations are amongst the most important goals we have now as a nation. And of course with the accepting of the Free Trade Zone between our nations as well as Delamaria and Galahinda this strengthening of diplomatic ties can only serve to create a more prosperous and strong future for all the people in the region.

FROM: Kisyak Surfirvo, Managerial Ambassador General, the Incorporated States of Cashar

Greetings and welcome from the Incorporated States of Cashar! It is our intention to reach out from the wondrous continent of Alharu and build more of a presence on the global stage. Recently, we have come into contact and allied ourselves with your most glorious of neighbors, Galahinda. Thus, it has seemed to us to be quite rude, quite rude indeed, if we did not reach out to you and indicate our interest in strengthening the ties between our two esteemed nations especially seeing as we plan to make diplomatic visits to your most glorious neighbor quite regularly. It has come to our attention that our respective countries have not been in contact with one another for many years, and that is a shame! A travesty! Unfortunate to the highest degree. But we can change that!

Our interests lie primarily in establishing fair trade relations in order to boost the coffers and allow profit to flow freely to and from and for both of our esteemed nations. Accordingly, if this is to your interest and your liking, allow us to discuss potential economic opportunities further.

In addition, consider also that your citizens may freely enjoy the benefits of opening a brand new Cashcard Express - sponsored by the Bank of Cashar. For a limited time, foreign citizens who apply and are accepted will be entered into a sweepstakes to win a free travel ticket to Cashar where they may enjoy the sights, the cuisine, and all the shopping our country has to offer. Cashcard Express - Credit on the Go from Wherever You Are.

We look forward to doing business with you now and in the future.

Subject: A Scientific Proposal for Ecological Restoration

Greetings and welcome from the Incorporated States of Cashar! We have come to express our deepest and sincerest condolences for the events that have occurred in Ceris. Truly, truly tragic.  But! Perhaps! This is not the way it has to remain. The Kingdom of Seylos' interest in restoring poor dear Ceris to environmental splendor has not gone unnoticed! Indeed, the Cashari and Seylosian scientists may very well have things to learn from one another. Opportunity abounds! As you well know, Cashar is home to desert as far as the eye can see. Beautiful and practical for many things, yes, but not suitable for agricultural development. And so, a proposal! Yes. Allow us, and the greatest scientific minds of Cashar and Seylos to collaborate for the benefit of the many! The proposal is as follows:

1. The Incorporated States of Cashar agree to cooperate with the Kingdom of Seylos in terraforming experimentation for the purposes of greening the Cashari Desert and discovering ecological restoration techniques for Ceris.

2. The Incorporated States of Cashar suggest a free information exchange between the scientists of the Incorporated States of Cashar and the Kingdom of Seylos in the matter of environmental studies.

3. The Incorporated States of Cashar suggests a shared portion of the costs of this scientific endeavor to be determined by a budget proposal from the Cashari and Seylosian scientists put in charge of this project and subsequent approval of said proposal from our respective governments.

4. For the purposes of experimentation, the Incorporated States of Cashar shall outline a small area to be developed in accordance with science-based recommendations.

Behold and profit! Imagine what we could learn! Imagine what we could do! Our nations could truly accomplish something greater than any nation before us! Indeed, imagine what this might mean for Ceris!

I know it might sound a little extreme, but sometimes, you need to go to the extreme. For science. For a better future. Always go extreme.

Actus Extreme! A taste of the oasis - now arriving in Ceris as a charitable contribution along with a visit from Actus Extreme, Co. CEO Tukon Sambravo - the radical man with a plan to do volunteer work in Ceris! Sympathy autographs available on request.

Signed,

To: His Majesty, King Aidan, King of @Seylos, Eire, Pleinmont, and Sark

From: the Agios Basilikon Kounsistorion of the Megas Agios Basileia ton Arhomaion

Your majesty,

The Agios Basilikon Kounsistorion is not in the habit of explaining its actions to foreign states. And the Agios Basileos kai Autokrator, as the representative of God on Eurth, certainly does not have to give foreign monarchs any such explanations, either.

But I feel that it is necessary at this point.

Arhomaneia has delayed its reply to you because of a need to discuss this matter. It is realised that your style of rule equates somewhat to my own – we both steer our nations in a more personal manner to those of other nations. However, these issues need to be discussed and their potential impacts need to be investigated, certainly when it comes to agreeing to pacts and alliances. I will admit that the apparent power imbalance between our nations was one of the key matters of concern. This is certainly true in the light of the hotspot that the north Adlantic has become in the last few months.

However, I feel that perhaps these discussions have taken too slow a course and I have left your majesty without a reply longer than I should have. Especially so, since it seems that whatever plans the Angleiki government has is gathering pace. The annexation of the Kingdom of Fearannteth has demonstrated that what was suspected by the Arhomaiki intelligence services, that the Angleioi truly do have designs for something that appears to approach wurld domination. And, from the message that I had forwarded on to you from his majesty King Creighton, it seems like the Seilosioi are potentially a target. And this potential has increased significantly with the conquest of Fearannteth, especially since none of the other powers of Eurth have seemingly batted an eyelid.

As well as a want to discuss any defensive pact with my advisers and trusted ministers, the events in the northern Adlantic was one of the reasons that I delayed a reply and I pray to God that the delay will not have further repercussions. You and your nation has been a key ally for Arhomaneia in recent years and, together, it cannot be doubted that together our nations have been a stabilising force in eastern Argis and Ceris. Together, we have quashed the Sentist threat and driven pirates from the seas.

You have highlighted the cultural differences between our nations in your last message and whilst I feel that there is certainly something a gap between our nations. But it is not one that I feel can be used to justify throwing a key ally to the wolves over. And the longer the rest of the wurld procrastinates over the actions of the Angleioi, the more King Creighton will be tempted to gobble up yet more of the wurld or try to bend them to his sway.

Due to this, I feel that I should accept your offer of a defensive pact between Arhomaneia and Seiloseia. We would need to further discuss terms and conditions, however.

I am less concerned about the Exousiokrateia ton Gharon (@Haruspex) but the situation is still being monitored. The situation on the Megas Agion Basileia's southern border is of more pressing concern right now, especially since there is the potential for them to strangle trade through the Ragas Thalassa and into the Adlantic. As well as the more obvious threat of an invasion.

Peace is in my prayers, as well as those of the Arhomaioi.

TO: the Agios Basilikon Kounsistorion of the Megas Agios Basileia ton Arhomaion

FROM: Minister of Foreign Affairs Geoffrey Tatum

The Kingdom of Seylos is delighted that @Tagmatium Rules is willing to enter into negotiations for a defensive pact, one that we hope will bring further stability to the North Adlantic. Typically Seylos is not in the habit of creating concrete military alliances, and has owed much of its success to its general neutraility in foreign affairs, but the actions of Great Anglia, as well as the actions of Machina Haruspex have made us consider this position for the moment.

As I am sure has become clear from recent developments, Anglia has begun massive shipments of unknown goods to various locations throughout the New Wurld, undoubtedly as a way to solidy control and relations with countries it has had encounters with here. Of course, we understand what is most pressing to Tagmatium is the continued conflict in Azania, of which the independent powers in the region will most assuredly lose. We understand the concern regarding an "imbalance of power" as of course Seylos does not have the same military might as Tagmatium. Regardless, Seylosian naval assets are not small, and combining them with the Tagmatine fleet in times of conflict could mean the difference between defeat and victory on the high seas. And of course Seylosian industrial capabilities combined with the growing markets of our Ceriser allies could become a key supply chain, defended by Seylosian and NAU fleets.

At the end of the day however our proposal is designed as a deterrent, one to show that neither of us will stand alone to Anglian aggression, something Anglia will have to think twice about. We also agree with your assessment of the Haru we do not believe that this moment they pose a direct threat. However we of course still have our concerns on their continuing military building on the island of Corinium, though we believe any strengthening of relations between our two nations should be more than enough deterrent against any hostile action against the NAU.

We would also suggest something to test the waters, internationally of course. The King has asked that the Seylosian 1st Fleet and a Tagmatine fleet participate in naval exercise in the Adlantic, to see how the powers of the North Adlantic react to such an arrangement between our nations.

We look forward to continued negotiations,

Minister Geoffrey Tatum
