So I've got some time on my hands this week and was wondering if there's any good way that I can participate again in RP again. Dunno if Chariot of Civility is too old to resume or something like that.

It probably is, in all honesty.

A few of the nations that were involved in that have left, like @Adaptus and @Poland-Lithuania.

You did suggest in a post made last time you were back that your country was moving towards a resolution. You could go forward with that. Your choices would kind of be either going from the point that your nation's government is trying to normalise relations and has backed down on the genocide front, or has quietly carried it on. That route, however, was looking like you were going to have at the very least a small scale war on your hands. Your government in March of last year was planning on starting negotiations to stop the crisis.

You could move forward with that?

It'd be the easiest way to do things, although it'd be relatively slow, as a lot of the people who were involved in that brewing conflict haven't been around as much as they were.

There's always the Doom of Ceris to get involved with on the sly, whether you want to go down the negotiation route or not.

I don't know much about Greater Serbia if anything at all but Doom of Ceris could be of some interest most certainly if not I'm sure there are RPs in the works that may allow GS to insert itself depending on their agenda.

You could also do some news posts to perhaps explain why your government has been quiet?

Maybe a change in administration or summat?

I think there's a lot of things you could get involved with, depending on how things go with people. Part of that ties with what Tag said, perhaps a change in administration or some such. Even if you don't, I'd say it'd be a good thing to attempt a PR round or something, send a group of delegates to various nations in order to attempt to gain some goodwill and try to show off that, even if the government isn't exactly changing, its actions are. That'd mean sending out letters to the various governments of the world. Sounds like a lot of work but you can basically copy the same letter and change some things to fit the nation. If you get lucky, enough of them will respond positively to atleast get some form of relations normalizing.

Once that's done, you can move on to more productive things with those governments. Or with private organisations such as the TEAAAM Institute. I'd imagine Greater Serbia not really going through the storm that was without issues, businesses closing, etc. That'd be an avenue to continue, finding investments and organisations to move into the nation. You'll probably suffer the same plight as any other dubious state, loans requiring high interest rates, businesses wanting a larger share, etc. but a bit of economic investment and your government willing to work with that goes a long way.

Beyond that, there's always the avenue of black markets and such if you're not looking towards normalizing relations, negotiations, etc. That'd mean going the North Korea route and attempting to supply your nation with atleast some of the bare needed essentials, luxury items and other such goods through front businesses, strawmen, criminal organisations and the few nations in the world that are basically in the same boat (although I'm not sure if there are any active at the moment). There's enough interesting roleplaying that could be imagined around that.

[OOC] Greater Serbia détente RP idea

So I've discussed with @Variota on #worldbuilding, and I think the next move for a RP would be to host a summit for talks in Variota. I'd like to set up the RP by Wed or Thurs IC, regardless if anyone participates in it right away. If even 3 nations participate I'd be happy. 

Some ideas/requests:

-held by and with the blockading nations, or any nations willing to attend by subscribers to any agreement or signatories would be limited to those that took action.

-drunk diplomats

- @Tagmatium Rules, I'd hope to aim for some sort of normalization of foreign affairs, as your nation is more significant in the Serbian people's mind than others.

-I'd like to elect @Variota to be the main representative country of the blockade bloc for a written agreement, if a deal is struck.

-Milosevic will not be present as he's still in a mountain bunker facility.

-Any agreement will not puppet/change government Serbia.

-Lastly, I'd like to show some potential to get involved in RPs again so I hope some people would join this RP.

Normalisation is certainly acceptable for my government. Perhaps we can then try to move forward from there.
