Xio Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 (edited) The Family of Alharu and Aurelia I stated within the discord I would make this eventually, and it will help categorise future additions. The purpose of the Thread is a non-canon (Unless stated otherwise by participants or staff) attempt by myself (and others) to completely map out all current indigenous groups of Alharu and Aurelia into one Family Tree. Of course is isn't something that could ever be 100% completed (As new players come in and people change their nation's ethnic backgrounds) but it might be fun nonetheless. There is also the fact many of the natives of Aurelia and Alharu come from different origins, which is a bridge we can cross when it comes up. (Where the family tree lines end are where the descendants of the Proto-Yeller Culture reach present day. If they end with a marked line, it either means that branch of the tree is extinct or we know exists and just hasn't been added yet.) This is the current rendition of the Natives, up to the Proto-Yeller Culture, which is the genesis to both the East Asia cultures on the eastern coast of Alharu, the Mesoamerican cultures of southern Alharu and north-east Aurelia, and the Caribbean cultures of south-west Alharu. How far back this group goes hasn't been defined yet (subject to change) but using currently available information, I would assume 4000BC to 2500BC. Around the region circled below. If anyone has any cultures, ethnicities, languages, etc. that are indigenous to Alharu or Aurelia, please post below either a link to a factbook or page about them, or just a short description of what cultures they are based off. They don't have to join a current branch on the diagram as this can always be expanded both within and outside of the Proto-Yeller Culture. Edit: It should also be stated that names for the groups such as "Nahua-Asleka", "Western Mesothalassa Culture" etc. can and most likely will be changed as more groups are added or if names for those groups already exist and I just didn't know when creating that rendition of the tree. Xio Posted October 30, 2019 Author Posted October 30, 2019 👏 Update! 👏 There has been some significant changes, such as the first present-day group to be placed outside of the Proto-Yeller Culture, however due to there being only one the actual lineage of the Chincorro is mostly a mystery. As stated before, if you have any indigenous groups (non-Europa/Marenesian ethnicities/cultures/languages) within your nations, please reply on this thread or via DMs (TheRandomHat#2678). 6
Orioni Posted November 16, 2019 Posted November 16, 2019 Thank you @Metztlitlalio for this detailed research. As an addendum, I can only add some details already referenced in the iiwiki timeline. There is an earlier discussion about how humans reached the western continents. https://iiwiki.us/wiki/Timeline_of_major_events_on_Eurth#Stone_Age One explanation is lower sea levels 50 kya By 4500 BCE we see rowing oars appear And seaworthy boats by 2500 BCE What happened to the population after it arrives in Alharu-Aurelia can certainly be the family tree above. 2

Indeed, I had a look at several IIwiki pages that I could gather information from, if they are up to date of course. Perhaps this ethnic family tree could one day be expanded to all currently active nations, to help visualise and consolidate data. Until then, I am still on the look out for indigenous groups of Aurelia and Alharu. 2
