I’m creating an event similar in start to the official Halloween event

EVENT canceled

Here’s a link:

My plan for this event are for me too

1. is to have a ghostship bring my flagship the eclipse over

2. I send some people over to investigate and they vanish

3. I fire upon the mysterious vessel but nothing happens

4. I then Notice a fleet of ships from the past crewed by the dead (these ships are just strong but can be damaged by ship weapons)

5. Call for help

6. Help arrives including my other battleship/half carrier who can provide air support and reconnaissance

7. Engage in a massive naval battle

8. Board the flag ship an ww2 era aircraft carrier and kill their admiral (which will only be spotted once I think The threads progressed far enough and cause the rest of the ships to fade away until next year)

Plan change:

I’m not using any paranormal creatures now

Buddy, I've read the thread. It didn't take long, because it was about two paragraphs long and, in large part, unreadable gobbledegook. You've clearly ripped off the Dolch See thread, which, while supernatural in nature, is also mod-okayed and features one of our RP moderators, @Adaptus, consulting on it, features long, well-written RP and is also clearly delineated (big word, delineated, you might wanna break out a dictionary) between canon and non-canon. This fulfills none of those requirements.

and I’m here to get consultion on what I should do and I’ve yet to recieve any.

Here's some consultation then.

Don't.

Come up with your own idea. Don't copy paste from others.

You have been given tips, pointers, and advice about your writing multiple times by multiple members, myself included. Your writing has not improved.

Take some time to look around the forums at the quality of writing expected, and try your best to imitate it. Currently, you're at a very low level of writing, which means very few people will want to write with you. Copying the idea from an existing high quality thread further reduces the amount of prospective writing partners.

Listen to the advice people give you.

The thing about the Mystery in the Dolch See is that it isn't actually paranormal. Nothing that has happened so far in the RP has been out of the realm of possibility.

  • Starting in my news post a group of unknown pirates attack a Royal Navy ship with no survivors to find a connection.
  • A frigate sized vessel with no identification is pursued by a Royal Navy destroyer before disappearing into a harsh storm.
  • A freighter was destroyed, and the other freighter's crew kidnapped.
  • 3 ships have engaged an enemy ship under similar mysterious circumstances, and while it is a scrappy ship apparently, it is taking damage and dishing it out it a realistic manner.
  • Nobody connected to these vessels is anything other than human, but the way it is written is more akin to them appearing to have supernatural connections of some sort.

On top of this the Dolch See RP is going to have a clear canon ending, with a continued non-canon ending that will delve into the supernatural as our heroes fight it. Being non-canon of course this ending won't effect anything that happens in the real world. The canon ending is supposed to explore who the people behind these attacks are and why they are trying to make it happen and unraveling the conspiracy.

Your RP begins with a similar premise of spooky ships doing spooky things, but then jumps straight into skeletons and ghostly ships from 200 years ago. I can't think of any way this can be canon than if for some reason Enclave citizens find sailing old ships for a giant festival while dressing up as skeletons as a fun things to do.

All I can say is you can try some sort of spooky special, but it has to stay within the realm of possibility, and maybe as a first serious RP it could be confined to your border, maybe something to do with the fact your military recently razed its own capital.

I think one of the most important question to answer right now is where did 100 ship fleet of elderly sailing ships and ironclads come from. It's one thing to imply there can be a ship here or a ship there and not really have to justify their existence because of their small presence but an armada of that size I think needs to have at least some explanation OOC of where it's from.

I forgot the part in the other thread where a bunch seemingly brand new ships from different eras in the past attacked a battleship.

I intend it to be a fleet of those who have fallen in the sea over the years but I might not mention that to add to the mystery.
