Next G7 Summit

Introduction

2016 saw us rebooting the international affairs with a small conference of G7 nations. This event took place in my nation, in the city of Zuidhaven.

No new event was held in 2017 because we were busy reorganising our setup: region, forum, map, the whole lot.

For 2018 I'd like to do this again. Perhaps this time, it can include a different character set.

Possible participants

The RL Group of Seven represent the "largest advanced economies in the world, [with] more than 62% of the global net wealth."

Looking at the spreadsheet and excluding those AFK, I see the following set of (active) players based on GDP amongst those who have chosen to flesh out their economic details.

Depending on who wants to join (or not), we can expand the number to eight, and have it be G8 or GR8.

My goal for this RP

The most important element to make this a fun and interesting RP is seeing where other people take this. So I don't want to be too rigid with the storyline. Once I have +4 confirmed players, we can perhaps see who is willing to host and which topics to put on the agenda. Here are some first thoughts, just to get them out there for you to comment on.

• Security agenda. Are the interests aligned or will we see clashing opinions? Which non-participating nations are in need of a good beatdown?
• Economic agenda. Do we steam ahead with growth or consider the environment? Is there a particular agreement we want to achieve for a successful summit?
• NGO protesters outside can influence the discussion indoors.

I'd also like to put myself forward as the Host for this years summit if there are no objections, I'm happy to pin some background for the events venue etc.

Prymont is the smallest country listed population-wise, and doesn't have a huge economy like the others, but I'd be more than happy to attend if there's still room. If Asgeirria is attending, I won't, in accordance with my refusal to write with someone who doesn't want to plan OOC.

ooc: I have been RPing the Free Port Cristina economy and many other stats (like IT, industry, science, education, health, enviroment and regional influence) to match those of Hong Kong or even Singapore but that is sometime I am open to discuss. If you guys think Cristina has enough weight to participante in this summit, It would like to be in It too.

Actually this could be quite interesting. 

Myself and Cristina have an alliance, and economic agreement. I can see a few scenarios here, depending on what others agree to. 

A.) Either Adaptus requests Cristina hosts the event on our Behalf. And as a result is offered an honorary 8th seat at the table. Or. 

B.) Adaptus hosts the event, but as hosts, is allowed to invite a guest attendee, in which case that guest attendee is Cristina.

I would like to participate as well, as the SSI should have a world-class economy worthy of this summit. I'd need some help with fleshing out my economic data though.

You're not the only one of the Great Powers feeling left out.

The Greatest Nation on Eurth has also been ignored.

Don't worry - we can have our own summit!

No, I totally understand the reason.

I don't have the necessary figures to do this, and I'm not likely going to do that any time soon. I've not the put the work in in order to do it, unlike the rest of the people here. Not every RP needs to involve me.

I'm just being silly.
