We will begin our news bulletin with this story. Earlier today a maximum security prison was brutally attacked by heavily armed soldiers who served a terrorist organization known as the European Freedom Force. This group advocates the barbaric principles of capitalism, and it is funded by the capitalist nation of @Girkmand. This story means that even in our sanctuary the savage capitalists will attack us. To keep you and your fellow citizens safe we remind you all to report all suspicious happenings to your local justice centre. When these criminals are found, they will be fairly punished for their crimes against the Imperial States.

Moving on to our economy and relations with the world, peaceful Imperial attempts to liberate the capitalist world have been refused. This shows the barbaric nature of the fools we are dealing with. This is no matter though. The Imperial War Command should be able to deal with them easily. 

Also in the economic sector, the Imperial States's productivity has risen to an all-time high, so remember to always do your part to help the nation whether you work in the factories or protect our nation from the capitalist horde in our frontiers.

Returning to internal affairs, today a bill was passed by our glorious leader to give the navy enough resources to construct ten new Defiance-class destroyers. These ships have enough range to circle around Aurelia and have hundreds of people onboard, and together these factors make this ship the most powerful destroyer to ever serve the Imperial States in our quest to protect the People. This new destroyer class should augment the war command's ability to ward off foreign invaders and anyone else who desires to kill the benevolent people of the Imperial States. This news bulletin will begin with this story. Recently the Army has started experimenting with new MBT designs in an effort to find the next-generation tank for the future of the army. There are indications it may be looking outward for foreign arms manufacturers, but if nothing is found then it may resort to domestic suppliers. Because of how old the current MBT is (50 years), this means it will pay extra to any companies willing to discuss business. This will make this the most lucrative contract the War Command has ever given out and the first foreign tank to be used in Imperial service.

Moving onto foreign relations, the People’s State is taking a new position on foreign relations, as evidenced by our earlier story on the new MBT. What this will bring us is anyone’s guess. But we hope to serve the People in whatever capacity we can. Reminder to all citizens, respect the People's State, and it will respect you. Disrespect the State, and you will be punished for inefficiency.

Moving onto internal affairs, this week a slave rebellion has occurred, but it was put down quickly and only five Imperials were wounded. Luckily this rebellion was spotted by a passing Owl-class reconnaissance aircraft. Let us all take a moment to respect our noble servicemen and servicewomen who acted with heroism. These Imperial heroes will be given the Order of the Glory military medal for their watchfulness and service to the people.

Finally, this week the celebrated Special Operations Command Lt. Gen. Smithey died. He was known for being one of the best generals alive and holding the Imperial Palace during the September Insurrection thirty years ago. Hail, Imperia! INN-2

This news bulletin will begin with this story. There has been a massive mountain bear migration from other our territories to the rest of the world. These bears are heading west, and leading bear experts are perplexed. There seems to be no reason why bears are moving. Could it be a new predator? A climate destabilization? Nobody in the ISOE knows why this is happening.

On to global foreign relations, a number of our citizens have been expressing dismay over the advances in space technology that have recently occurred, but the People's Government urges discipline. We will not be attacked, and we will not fall. Although multiple capitalistic nations may or may not have orbital weapons, we will fight, we will get ourselves some weapons of our own, to strike back, and defend ourselves from the capitalist menace! So, when your brain tells you to worry, don't do it! Hail, Imperia! Hail, Imperia!

Moving onto the economic news, the People's Government will embark on a major economic project of a new city! This city will be named Harmony, and is intended to be a major scientific capital of our nation. It will take many years to construct, but eventually, we will once again be first! We will protect the People from harm, abuse, and capitalist inequality.

Also in the economy, our surveyors have discovered a major vein of iron ore, used for making steel! This should allow us to build even more weapons, ships and tools.

Also today, a major black market has been shut down by the Army after intelligence was released from the Airforce, but this still means some citizens didn't do their duty to the state, nurturing this illegal nonstate market with their visits. Remember citizens, if you or someone you know is involved in illegal activity, telling the state is the only logical course of action. The state is benevolent, it only exists to protect the People. This news bulletin will begin with this story. A historic deal is being negotiated as we speak, involving the ISOE and @Variota. We are buying new MBTs to replace the old ones currently in service today. When this deal is finished, it is hoped that it will increase the effectiveness of the armour in the Army, and thus allow us to defend the People better. It is also hoped that we will benefit from improved relations with Variota after this is done, thus opening up a whole new area of business. However though, with great positive change also comes great negative change. To buy these MBTs comes at a cost of 45,500 European Credits and (x) Variotan Waarttemuns, but more importantly, slavery will be ended and in return embassies will be opened in the ISOE and Variota, which will spread our influence in Variota and many other countries, and this might allow us to create our own defensive pacts. To negotiate this deal our glorious leader is going to a hotel in Variota, bringing the state leaders and the head of the Imperial Relations Agency. It is hoped that once the deal is negotiated discussions can begin on the matter of an embassy. And with the end of slavery comes the beginning of a new age of humanitarianism. This news bulletin will begin with this story. Continuing our last issue’s topic, today the Variotan Deal was signed by @Variota's Dina Diva and the ISOE’s Augustia Holfings in Variota. Our military now has new tanks and is ready to protect us from whatever seeks to hurt us. This deal will kick off a new era of Variotan-European relations, as evidenced by the construction of the Variotan embassy loyal citizens like you are making.

Also in foreign affairs, the forces of TRIDENT are blockading our sisters and brothers in the nation of @Ahrana, an outrage that the People’s Government condemns as an attack by the capitalist pigs! The People’s Government will not take any action apart from condemning every member of TRIDENT except for Variota, due to their cooperation with the Government and thus cooperation with humanity. As soon as TRIDENT stops their foolish blockade the People’s Government shall end our condemnation of them. Hail, Imperia!

His name is Benjamin Crax, and he has been the recipient of multiple awards, for honor, disipline, and strength. He has lived in Union for his entire life, and is a devout follower of Europe. What truly sets him apart from other workers, is that he works extra time, every day he can, so he can serve the People best. But he is not the only person who does this. There are thousands of loyal, patriotic workers who, just like him, want to serve their brothers and sisters in the ISOE. We salute you, for serving the People, and for never wavering in this! However, we today will examine someone who lives a hard life on the edge. Her name is Marian Hicks, a Centurion in the Special Operations Command, and a recipient of the award of Hero of the Imperial States for one reason: she braved prejudice and sexism in a time when the People’s State had not yet rooted these out. But she persevered, filled with desire to defend the People from capitalist oppression. Like the previous example of heroism, she serves as a constant reminder that to defend the People, it takes courage and a sense of what’s right. Hail, Imperia!

This news bulletin will begin with this story. While strong, the Navy has always sought to be stronger. Throughout it’s history, it has been envious of the aircraft carriers that other nations possess. We are an island nation, thus, we must have a navy like one. But today our second rate status will change. We will become feared upon the seas, for today, we have finalised plans on building the first carriers in the Imperial Navy’s history, the Europe-class (OOC: specifics are on the military factbook). For military reasons, the People’s State cannot share the specifics with the People, but it wishes it could. However, the People’s State can share that these carriers will be able to decimate enemy fleets, and will spread the Will of the People across Eurth! While these ships will take many years to build, at the end of their construction, the Imperial Navy will be a force to be feared! Hail, Imperia!
