I'm not really sure what to put here other than anyone else is welcome to join in. I'd prefer that it was on the side of Asgeirria, because I don't want to get pubstomped, but I'm also happy to let the story go as it may. I guess I'll just put, like, a timeline here for quick reference, and update it as more of the story comes out. 1816: Island colonies of Asgeirria break away, triggering war. 1818: Asgeirria launches a full-scale invasion of the colonies, but is repulsed. 1824: The Isla Coalition is formed, officially pooling the forces of the island colonies. 1832: Asgeirria and the Coalition sign a 100-year peace treaty. 1932: Limited naval anti-shipping warfare continues at a very small scale 1996: The last recorded engagement of shipping in the Aurelian sea. 2011: Operation Goliath, a daring raid aimed at crippling the leadership of the Coalition, nearly succeeds. 22 January 2018: False flag attack on the Maine, Spite 24 January 2018: War Declared If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
