With backing by the Atreides family the company was able to operate for many years without competition, making it one of the most profitable in the country. Through diversification and international co-operation the company today operates in mineral extraction, mining equipment manufacture and construction of oil and gas rigs. The Company now embraces the challenges of a future without fossil fuels and over the last fifteen years has offered investment to small green start ups in order to help them develop programmes to get the nation, and the world into a position where sustainable energy production and use can be accomplished.
