Brief Background of Policy: Iverica maintains a constitutional system of government with strong traditional influences on social policy. The constitution upholds political freedoms like universal suffrage and free speech as inviolable rights but does not dictate anything further than government structure, checks and balances and political rights liberties. Legislation on social policy typically follows societal trends.

Iverica maintains a free-market economy with minimal government intervention. The few regulations that exist are in place to preserve national security and public safety against hazardous imports/exports like weaponry, drugs, dangerous pharmaceuticals, etc. Iverica is known for numerous free economic zones, supplying and housing many foreign multi-nationals with special tariff grades that stimulate local employment, demand for raw materials, finished goods, and foreign investment.

Iverica's foreign policy upholds the safety of citizens on foreign soil as the top-most priority. While the current policy principles champion diplomacy as the first course of action, Iverica maintains blue-water fleets, and a pro-military stance to enforce security over vital shipping lines, and national interests abroad.

Iverica's military is strictly non-offensive and is not built to support occupation and invasive action, but rather maintains a strong focus on maritime policing, counter-insurgency and quick deployment.

Brief Background/Delegate Experience: Actor, Member of Legislature and Ambassador. Danny Treho, a degree-holder of both Theatre Arts and Economics, is known for his extensive humanitarian relief efforts and spearheading of drives to preserve history, culture and language among nations of Latin descent. He served one (1) term as MeC for the Juares Constituency, during which he helped reform drug rehabilitation systems and bolstered the local economy by reducing unemployment through the establishment of scholarships and workshops in partnership with the private sector. During his time as Ambassador to Lusotropia, he co-authored several scholarly papers on Latin culture and the effect of Latin trends on employment, business practice, and macroeconomics.

Previous Tenure: Actor- 10 years, Member of Chamber (Juares Constituency)- 4 years, Ambassador to Lusotropia- 8 years.
