[HELP] What do you think of my flag?

Howdy! So I whipped this flag up pretty quickly with no thought to the history behind it or the reasons why things are on it, I made it purely for style. It's meant to have the heraldry and design of an older, European flag, but with the palm tree and text harkening to more equatorial, unstable countries. Do you guys think this look works, or do you think it needs more work?

Hey Zandibastar. Good question. Your flag has 5 colors in it. How about reducing that? Do you really need the name on it? What do the crow and the palm tree mean?

I like it. But like Afropa said, do you need the text? I think it would look more harmonious without it.
