Suverina
Sanders won by 20% over Hillary in the New Hampshire primary. (Yay) Trump won the Republican nomination gaining 34,5%; Kasich 16,3; Cruz 11,5; Bush 11,3. Link to comment
Orioni
He is now up to 60%. Oh waw. That's almost double what Obama did in 2008. Feel the Bern, Hillary. I wonder how this will play out. You really compare these two money machines. Link to comment
Afropa
Meanwhile we have seen the Super Tuesday. Trump and Clinton are winning. Everyone else is slowly fading out of the picture. Something else that has appeared: the Republican party is pulling together to boycott a radical candidate like Trump. From what I have seen these past years, this radicalism is something of their own creation. I wonder what will happen though. What do you think? Link to comment
Jilderen
I'm still hoping it'll be Trump vs. Clinton, just to see Republicans vote Democrat (or independent) Link to comment
Afropa
Carson endorsed Trump. Christie endorsed Trump. Next thing you know Rubio will be endorsing Trump. The RNC is becoming a farce. Poor people voting against their own interest. Link to comment
Jilderen
A farce... Why does that sound so typical American? Link to comment
Suverina
Seems like Sanders doesn't have any realistic chances of winning the democratic nomination now. I'm still baffled he did so well. Guess I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up. When he first said he would run for president I didn't think he was serious, when he again said he'd run I understood he meant it, but I thought he'd have little success. Then way later when this whole circus begun, it's been amazing. It's evident people want change. Link to comment

Suverina
Let's just hope the change isn't named Trump. The polls indicate it's not going to, thankfully. Edited March 16, 2016 by Suverina (see edit history) Link to comment
Adaptus
I'm struggling to determine who is better Trump or Hilary. At least Trump has SOME policies that actually echo in reality. I'm afraid Hilary doesn't really seem to have anything. Link to comment
Orioni
So far my opinion has been formed regarding the frontrunners of each party. Clinton (Dem) is in the pocket of the big finance. https://www.opensecrets.org/pres16/contrib....00000019&type=f She talks big about her ideals, but I doubt this will result in effective policies should she ever be elected. Sanders (Dem) seems to receive broad support as underdog. He does not appear to have sold his soul to big corporations like Clinton has. https://www.opensecrets.org/pres16/contrib....00000528&type=f But he may be too 'radical' for the US to handle. Also, he is quite old so his choice of vice-president would seem crucial. Trump (Rep) is completey crazy for which reason I don't trust him with the second largest nucleair arsenal in the world. And he has actually threatened to use them. Trump is indeed largely financing himself. https://www.opensecrets.org/pres16/contrib....00023864&type=f Cruz (Rep) feels like a political aparatchik of the old Republican establishment. He gets his money from the energy sector, notably big oil. https://www.opensecrets.org/pres16/contrib....00033085&type=f And those who dropped out... Bush (Rep) received host donations from oil+gas industry and finance. https://www.opensecrets.org/pres16/contrib....00037006&type=f Rubio (Rep) was sponsored by finance as well. https://www.opensecrets.org/pres16/contrib....00030612&type=f Link to comment

Suverina
Republicans hold house and Senate, as long as Trump acts in the interest of the republican party, why would they want to remove him? Link to comment
Magnaeus
The only reason they could have for actually distancing themselves from the sitting president is out of fear of losing their own comfortable seat of power. If there are too many scandals this could reflect bad on their state and cost them votes. Link to comment
Sa Hara
Oh my this topic. I can't believe the soap opera continues. From what we have seen so far, these past 2 years, I honestly believe old man Trump is rotten in his head. Mental health problems should be a reason to exclude someone from running for office, let alone be elected. Link to comment
Sunset Sea Islands
Diagnosing mental problems would require a working healthcare system! xD Anyways, one thing's for sure: we cannot allow for an impeachment of Trump to be successful, otherwise we'll be stuck with President Mike "electric Fence" Pence.
