What is its status? What is it used for? Who protects it? Any treadies protecting it? This island is deaply concerning to us as a result of our anti-drug policy. Link to comment

What else is going there is not publicly known except that we suggest that they have large marijuana-plantations there. It seems that MMRTA was officially founded for promoting marijuana as legal drug used for medicinal purposes. We, in other hand are not too sure what is happening there now because we have not sent people there after last of our agents mysteriously vanished. Mongol-Swedes Posted December 17, 2004 Share Posted December 17, 2004 Other things to add is that the MMRTA island is purely conceived as a research and trade initiative whose operations are controlled by all member nations in peaceful cooperative measures and its scope is restricted only to voluntary members of said alliance. And thru such mulitlateral efforts, the level of drug-related crime in these countries has dropped substantially as the illegal markets for the production and distribution have been effectively snubbed out thanks to tighter government regulation. I see that the island is demilitarized- however this is concerning to us. Our shores are not far from MMRTA Island without ANY law and order "produce" is making its way from one shore to another. Several unexplained packages have been found on our eastern most island of Breezewood. Is there no military or police force at all? This alliance may have lowered the drug problem in your countries, but it is aiding the problem in ours! Link to comment

Members of the MMRTA include our allied tribes, the nation of Selene2U, Endenia, the Kingdom of Phil IV, the nation of Millbrex, the Borderlands of Oneiro, and the Armed Republic of Ekainak. As for these mysterious packages ending up on your sovereign territory, the island is protected by a conglomeration of security forces that the sovereign nations involved in the MMRTA have graciously volunteered, and I can assure you that we are not involved. Phil VII Posted December 18, 2004 Share Posted December 18, 2004 As self-elected spokesperson for the MMRTA since ~pot~ has left, i can hereby say that the island is there for the SOLE purpose of growing marajuana for the treatment of serious illnesses. there are NO plans to sell this as a recreational drug, and the marjuana produced here is only prescribed to those who it would definatly benefit much more than other, more conventional drugs. We are sorry for any mysterious packages that may have been washed up on shorelines, but one of our ships carrying the latest shipment to the mainland of Phil IV for distribution was destroyed in a storm a week ago. the crew were rescued by helecopter, but most of the shipment was lost. The island is governed by an independent board consisting of members from all member nations, there is a security force around the island so no smugglers or illeagals can get in. the island is home to about 100 pickers and growers, who are paid well, and are treated with respect and dignity. I have been meaning to submit a new resolution to the UN council for some time now, involving the legilisation of marijuana throughout the UN as a medicinal drug, which is to be used with the utmost caution and control. i havnt gotten round to this yet, but this debate here has sparked me to go and do it soon. We will contine to observe- from a distance the events occuring on MMRTA Island. We are still uincomforable with these operations so close to our shores. If we feel that our national security is threaten- and that includes the health of our people- we will not hesitate to take serious action. As would we. As one of the members and cofounder of the MMRTA Island I must insist you keep all hostilities at a minimal, even the comments. The MMRTA nor the island pose any danger or threat to any of our members or neighbors. We are a very peaceful members only group but please do not mistake our kindness for weakness. Any action should be channeled threw the proper authorities and dealt with in a civil manner. We have been down this road before. We have pledged to not make the same mistakes and be unprepared or unprotected. We stress we are a members only organization and do not force this on anyone. The S.S.S.S. is the heavy hand of the MMRTA and has the goal and duty to protect the island and all she stands for. We are three and a half billion strong with a military the size of its own country. We have fought many wars and have won most. The best thing to do is just agree to disagree. You would not want to make the mistake and make this a military situation. We would like to show the region the benifits of having civil discussions before jumping the gun and doing something both parties regret. Meteorola treated the MMRTA and the S.S.S.S. with respect and shall recieve such in return in furture incounters. We still have no plans to join MMRTA- due to moral conflicts, however as a result of the close distance between the city of Breezewood and MMRTA Island we plan to keep in close contact.
