TSC: Talemanica The grand city of Talemanica, capital of the great Union of Socialist States of Tal Shiar, was exploding with celebration as peace once again reigned over the Union. After the death of Secretary General Cesario Jovtvev two years ago, the nation was plunged into civil war as various generals fought for power. Now the conflict is over and there a new leader in Tal Shiar; one that will bring our beloved Union bace to thefront of Europa international politics. The new Secretary General is Nikolay Jovtvev, grandson of the fromer leader. Outside the palace in the red square General De Vesci gave a speach to the nation. "Today Tal Shiar returns to normalcy and our great union remains strong dispite the past two years. I will return our beloved paradise to its former glory and bring the lost states back into the fold. Tal Shiar will continue to be the shining light of Socialism in Europa. In the coming days I will bring all the academics and great minds of our nation together in Talemanica and bring about a great reorganization of our nation." - Secretary General Nikolay Jovtvev. Tal Shiar Posted August 5, 2007 Author Posted August 5, 2007 (edited) The Tal Shiar Chronicle De Vesci Reforms Sweep the Nation TSC: Talemanica New Secretary General Jovtvev promised reforms of the state when he ascended and the reforms are now effecting the entire nation. There was a massive restructuring of the nation and a stream lining of the entire bureacracy of the Socialist States. The cabinet of thirty or so ministers and advisors will be cut down to sixteen seats forming the Council of State. The offices of Secretary General and Premier will be merged into the position of Chairman and Secretary General Jovtvev will become the nation's first Chairman. Also the Congress, after all the members were slain in the Great Struggle, has been disbanded and its powers were transfered to the Council of State. The Chairman will lead the new Council. Also in the first act approved by the Council was a large military reform. The Union has commited several hundred billion leva to replenish the military after the devastating civil war. The Union has asked that all able bodied men to report for duty as a nation wide conscription was ordered. The military with its new appropriated moneys has gone on a spending spree ordering new tanks and ships and are seamingly preparing for action. Also more moneys were sent to rebuild the nation's intelligence bureau and police ranks. Tal Shiar Posted August 8, 2007 Author Posted August 8, 2007 (edited) The Tal Shiar Chronicle Tal Shiar's Military Readiness TSC: Talemanica It has been only a few weeks or two since the Great Civil War came to the end and Chairman Nikolay Jovtvev taking the helm of the nation, but the military has not lowered its state of readiness as peace decends on Tal Shiar. Why has the oders to demobilize been given? The civil war caused a massive arms race and buildup of military hardware, now it sit waiting to see action. Is Tal Shiar preparing for military actions in Europa? The state of total war that both sides engadged has left us with craters and sockpiles of munitions. It seems that the relative peace in Tal Shiar will be slightly disrupted as the Council of State has ordered a slow mobilization of the military. Tal Shiar Posted August 20, 2007 Author Posted August 20, 2007 (edited) The Tal Shiar Chronicle Full Mobilization Ordered TSC: Talemanica Not since the Great Civil War as the entire Union military been ordered toa full mobilization. Piles of equipment worth aproximatly hundreds of billions of leva , if not several trillion, and now they will finally get some use. The Secretariat of War has not released the location where Tal Shiaran troops will be sent. It is by the orders of the Chairman that this massive mobilization of the armed forces has occured. Tal Shiar Posted November 16, 2007 Author Posted November 16, 2007 (edited) The Tal Shiar Chronicle Council Announces Nuclear Program TSC: Talemanica Today a spokeman for the Union Council announced that the Council approved the establishment of a new Nuclear Weapons Program. "This new program will allow us to build a nuclear deterent against the more aggrassive nations in Europa. Nuclear weapons can ensure that no nation can get an upper hand on Tal Shiar." - War Secretariat Spokeman. The Council approved to switch billions of Lira from other government programs in the military to help pay for these new weapons. Tal Shiar has always had a weapons program, but in the last fourty years the program went from building weapons to dismantling them. The Government finally announced that all missiles in the nuclear arsenal were destroyed. Chairman Jovtvev is now reversing the policies of his predecesor and will begin to reconstruct the nation's nuclear stockpile. "We have the army, navy, and airforce that can dominate the continet and the whole of Europa, but what does an army or navy mean when other nation can wipe it all away in one missile strick." - Chairman Nikolay Jovtvev. The War Secretariat also stated that it will begin to develop a missile protection shield to protect the homeland from foreign missiles. Secretary Maleeva stated that he opposed an aggresive stance with other Europan nations. Conflict between police and protesters erupt in the former imperial capital of Tsarevo resulting in thirty fatalities and one hundred arrests. Several key members of the Tsardom Restoration Alliance (TRA) were arrested in a raid in Talemanica. The TRA's main goal is to ring down the Union and restore the Tsar. Source says council is debating whether the reconquer provinces lost in the Patriotic War, which saw the end of the Tsardom and the rise of the Union. Energy Secretariat nationalizes all key energy resources.

Chairman Nikolay Jovtvev is safe and was not harmed in the attack. Interior Secretariat blames the bombing on the TRA and incourgages the Justice Secretary to take action. Many conspiracy theorists claim that the bombing was an attempted coup by the Justice Secretariat over the chairman's aggrestive stance. Military releases previously sealed documents of a plan to reconquer southern areas lost in the Patriotic War. Military readiness increase due to national emergency. Chairman Nikolay Jovtvev will address the nation and Europa, concerning the recent terrorist attack. Rumours about a shake up in the Council of the Union are dismissed by the government. The former Tsar before the rise of the Union made an appearance at a fundraising event to promote education about health. New government agenda says that the nation will concentrate to improve and expand its military. This comes after the Council of the Union voted to inlarge the nations military budget.

The goals of this new alliance will be to establish greater ties with fellow nations and governments. To promote the Socialist ideas an government structures. "Tal Shiar has a responsibility to the Communist and Socialist movement in Eruopa. We are the largest Socialist state and we need to lead by example. This new group will help fund Socialsit movements in other Europan nations and to strive for a free world for the Proletariat." - Chairman Nikolay Jovtvev said at a press conference. The shrinking numbers of true Socialist states has been nerving to the Tal Shiaran Council of State and that the goverment in Talemanica is looking for a better way to support fellow states and red revolutions throughout Europa. The Council of State has yet to announce the new alliance and its requirements and responsibilites and who will be its first members. Many say that this organization and alliance is the Chairman's way of expanding Tal Shiar's growing influence in Europa

The new policy stated that Tal Shiar will begin moving away from isolationist veiw and to more interventionalist train of thought. "Tal Shiar will begin actively supporting communist and socialist movements in all Europan nations. The workers of Europa need to be freed from the oppression of their governments and allowed to decide their fate. The growing capitalist societies continue to steal the wealth from the working class only to live in decadent and amoral sins." - Chairman Nikolay Jovtvev The Chairman condemned several captialist nations in following with the new policy. He also called for many "so-called" socialist nations to quit parading under the socialist facade and for the people in those nations to rise up and bring about a true red paradise.

"Chairman Jovtvev is wrong for this nation. He is seaking to destroy the security of this nation by weakening the military and selling out our children to the capitalist nations of Europa. We can not continue to support this regime which continues to prostitute itself to that capitalist nations of Europa." - Chief general. This marks the first descention in the government of Nikolay Jovtvev. With the Chairman's increasingly progressive moves toward other nations in Europa as wella s funding peaceful socialist movements in other nation. Tal Shiar Posted July 16, 2008 Author Posted July 16, 2008 The Tal Shiar Chronicle Secretariat of Religious Affairs Bans Cult TSC: Talemanica After a lengthy investigation the Secretariat of Relgious Affairs officiall banned the Sildavialander Cult of Set in Tal Shiar. "The practicing of this so-called religion will henceforth be forbided in the Union as a heretical sect." stated the secretariat. Tal Shiar has kept the religion of its predecessor the Tsardom of Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Orthodox Church, one of the few things kept from the Tsardom. An overwelming majority of the population consider themselves Bulgarian Orthodox. Officially the Patriarch has not made any statement concerning the ruling by the religious Affairs Secretariat.
