Dear Nations,

I would like to invite all nations to attend a leadership conference on the issue of Europa's future. Issues such as a united currency and promotion of a regional government will be discussed and debated. We can be so much more than what we currenly are. This region has more potential than most of us can imagine. I full heartedly agree with our UN delegates ideas on a regional government. I think with hard work and determination we can succed in creating a federation with extreme UN power. I believe our region's strongest should start two campaigns:

1.Persuade all nations to join the U.N. I believe our region can have a UN membership rate of 50% by the beggining of 2005.

2.Persuade all new nations to endorse our UN Delegate. Our delegate should have at least 125-150 endorsements by the beggining of 2005.

I hope you all agree with me and will consider my proposals. Peace and prosperity to you all.

Prime Councilor

yes, many of the nations in the Europan army, such as myself and argenland have puppet nations to fight, so our main nations arnt in the UN, so we can only comply with those parts of the proposition in times of peace, when we are not on exercise, as we are at the moment

other than this i have no large feelings either way about a regional governmant. i see how it could be good for the region, but other regions i have known have tried to make their governments too big and too complicated and have fallen apart under the pressure, and i dont want this to happen to Europa.

1) Good initiative, I'm glad to see you are so constructive.

2) I believe we already have more then 50% op UN-membership. Let me go check.. There are 119 UN member at this moment, in a region of 249 nations. That's almost 50%, but not there yet. Mind you that 50% is a lot, since there are many, many puppets in this region.

3) I currently carry 86 endorsements and that is very much for a region of ca. 250 nations. We should already be proud of ourselves.

Fjorkelstan disagrees with the possiblility of a Europan federation. We view this as an attempt to create a single nation of many disparate nations, a situation already in existence, in the form of the UN. The UN, however, does not assume leadership over a region - it assumes leadership and decision-making for those who join it, willingly.

We of Fjorkelstan agree with the idea of new Europan member nations joining the UN of their own free will, and endorsing the UN Deletegate of their choice. Choice is one of the very most important values to the people and government of Fjorkelstan.

With Respect,

Johann Sims

President of Fjorkelstan

While The Most Serene Republic of Alianessia is a UN Member and will consider a vote as to whether to endorse the representative for the great region of Europa, it is the view of a majority of Alianessians (87.3% in this mornings election and survey, which are held daily) that as a nation we do not support a federation. We feel that each nation must vote it's conscience and not feel unduly pressured to "go with the group."

Thank you for your time and attention to our position.

Speaking upon behalf of his nation "The Oppressed People of Zangiefz", Alberto Zangief, Public Relations, had this to state upon the current issue:

"Whilst the pro's of this proposal can be seen, the Zangiefz and our people feel that it is not how we wish our country to be run. We came to Europa to be free and we fill that joining a federation will take what freedom we and our people have away."
