Vruechten is an orderly country run by a massive, ruthless and efficient government. The three most powerful people in the government are the Supreme Head of the Armed Forces, the First Scientist and the Chief Administrator. Together these three dominate the vast ruling party of the country, which in turn enforces strict rule upon the population.

 

Religion is outlawed in Vruechten, although a few religious groups operate in secret. The arts are frowned upon as a frivolous waste of time and resources, but not banned altogether. Science and engineering are held in high regard and guide much of the Party's policies.
