Recently the sky rocket in the prices of stock in Validaire rose, and this has caused a city wide debate over whether this can result in an Economical boost. This would of course result in higher wages as the city would have more money to spend. As well as the opening of the Van?ili Sensitive Index present an interesting dilemma to Validaire over whether or not to allow foreign companies. Apparently so far the answer is indeed to allow them to exchange resources and stocks in the Van?ili Sensitive Index, as Validaire itself is a mere city state. The governments plan to have it remain neutral is probably backed up by the ambition to host multiple companies in Validaire probably due to it's neutral status. As this continues, expect your boss to pay you more, as laws in Validiare have been introduced that as the GDP increases, wages go with them. Seeing as Validaire is such a small city state, it cannot fully supply itself with goods all the time, and requires much aid in shipping and handling from other states, and therefor most of the time is not always capable of producing everything it needs and ends up shipping them in. This usually costs more, then the profits made. Therefor, recently Senator Ruferd Maxfeld has issued a statement saying that perhaps the small state of Validaire expand it's boundary past just the city of Validaire. Some consider this redundant, mostly due to the surrounding nation, as well as Validaires historical neutrality, which would be broken automatically. Besides, it would take too long for Validaire to actually build up an army, for that to even happen within the next five years. Edited March 11, 2007 by Validaire (see edit history) Link to comment

With the addition of Runner .09 which was the one launched today, there are now nine Validairean satellite's in space, with six orbiting the planet, two orbiting the moon, and the last still flying towards Venus. It is expected that the last satellite Runner .10 will be launched sometime next month until the first Validairean space shuttle is actually shot up for a mission.
